We are ceaselessly presented with a multitude of CHOICES on a daily basis; what to eat, what we wear in the morning, who we spend our time with, what we choose to think about, what we choose to say, how we respond to inconveniences or even simply whether or not you listen to this podcast? (See where I am going with this - make the right choice.) These choice for the most part remain primarily our individual responsibility.
In this weeks Podcast I share some insight, into some of the things that would better help us make the better choices/decisions; that in turn get us closer to living the life we actually want and not settle to a life relegated to us by circumstances. Enjoy and Share

I used to think real courage meant, I had to be completely unafraid, unflinching or dauntless. In this weeks episode, I share some insight on courage in action (pushing past the resistance) from my own life, in moments of my life I felt far less capable of dealing with what was before me. Enjoy the Episode.

"I believe the single most significant decision I can make on a day-to-day basis is my choice of attitudes" - Charles W. Swindoll.
On any given day, in many different settings, with people we meet; the choice of our attitude is always there before us. Some people believe and continually re-affirm the notion that their attitude is far beyond their own control;. Is it really?
In this episode, through some personal stories/experiences I share how significantly (and in some not so ideal circumstances) being able to choose my internal attitude significantly changed not so much what happened around me but what and how I was able to powerfully respond.

"Powerful in Process"
Incase you did not listen to "Have you considered just starting", listen here https://anchor.fm/mwelwa-mwape/episodes/Have-you-considered-just-Starting----Perspective-House-e1f0uk5Start . Its the foundation for todays episode.
Ever felt like you just the "Newbie" , "Upcoming", and couldn't wait to get past the "baby steps". Somehow its easier to believe we will be only fully powerful at the destination or goal; today's conversation challenges this mindset and perhaps serves as encouragement or a reminder to some on remembering that you're fully powerful in the process.Ā
Here is a nugget, I found that helps us really break down this conversation.
"The Ā person we believe ourselves to be will always act in a manner consistent with our self image" - Brian Tracy.

This one was not an easy one for me. I definitely fought the temptation to sound "DEEP". Lol But nonetheless, in this episode we take some time to take a look at how and why it is necessary to consider how the year has been so far? 3 Months in, what accomplishments have you celebrated? What have been the challenges and how are you learning from them? Have you reviewed your own personal goals? Is the strategy you had at the beginning of the year still working so far?
I share a particular verse that to me spoke volumes on being practical about this.
Here it is, Proverbs 20:4, "Those too lazy to plow in the right season will have no food at the harvest.".Ā

"A man who has friends must himself be friendly: but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother" - Proverbs 18:24 NKJV
"The only way to have a friend is to be one" - Ralph Waldo Emerson.
What standard do you hold yourself to when you it comes to friendship? In this podcast I share some of the reflections that I have had when it comes to the friendships that I have had over the course of my life; with some practical examples from my own life.
I hope you enjoy.

In this episode I bring you one of my absolutely favorite quotations, that i first read in a message my very African Dad had sent me. It simply says 'Efforts may fail, but don't fail to make efforts'. I hope you take that advise to task and continue to make efforts in pursuit of the things that you really want.
