The Adam Project is a fun, action-packed, time travel movie. Ryan Reynolds stars as Adam from the year 2050 while Walker Scobell (who will star as Percy Jackson in Disney+’s upcoming series) plays his younger self in the year 2022. It also features Zoe Saldaña., Mark Ruffalo, Jennifer Garner, and Catherine Keener.
What I loved most about this movie, however, wasn’t the comic interplay between Reynolds and Scobell, or the fun fight scenes. My favorite part was the touching emotional moments that come towards the end of the movie, when it changes tone from a time travel action movie to a movie that deals with regret, human connection, and family relations.
Amidst the controversy (and maybe partially because of it) I decided to finish the original Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy over the last few weeks. All of the films are readily available on Disney+, so check them out if you’re interested. These films were filmed essentially back to back, and the story certainly continues across both movies, so for the sake of this blog, I’m going to review them as if they were one movie, but I do prefer one over the other, which I’ll explain.

The King's Man is a prequel to one of my favorite movies series, Kingsmen, and I was lucky enough to check it out last night on the preview day. I had a great time watching this movie, and hope there are more to come, so if you like the original two Kingsmen movies, I highly recommend you check this one out!
Today I am joined by my friend Seth Bracci to discuss Spider-Man: No Way Home after it was released this past weekend. We had an awesome chat about this movie that we both love, and we discussed some of our favorite moments as well as what we think is in store for some of the characters. After a strong showing from Mission: Impossible 3, I was looking forward to hopefully continuing that trend with Ghost Protocol. I'll be taking a break from the Mission Impossible movies for a day after this, but they'll be back on the 23rd!

Synopsis: Ethan Hunt leads his IMF team on a mission to capture a deadly German virus before it is released by terrorists. His mission is made impossible due to the fact that he is not the only person after samples of the disease. Today we're taking a look at the action-adventure classic, Mission: Impossible. Starring Tom Cruise, this movie kicked off one of the biggest franchises ever, but how good is this first movie? Hear my thoughts in today's review!
Synopsis: When U.S. government operative Ethan Hunt and his mentor, Jim Phelps go on a covert assignment that takes a disastrous turn, Jim is killed, and Ethan becomes the prime murder suspect. I finally got to see Spider-Man: No Way Home last night! I know this is a special movie, so if you haven't gotten to see it yet, don't worry! I won't spoil anything in this review. This is my reaction to the movie though!

Jesse Eisenberg stars alongside Kristen Stewart as James Brennan and Emily "Em" Lewin as the main protagonists of the film. My review for Day 12 of the 24 Days of Reviews is on The Town, a 2010 crime thriller written and directed by Ben Affleck. Also starring Jeremy Renner, Jon Hamm, and Blake Lively, this movie follows a crew of bank robbers from Charlestown, Massachusetts, and their leader Doug (Affleck) who begins to find out there's more to life than what he knows from the town.
Blade Runner 2049 is the sequel to the 1982 cult classic, Blade Runner. Ryan Gosling stars as "K" a Nexus 9 replicant Blade Runner tasked with eliminating rogue Nexus 8 replicant models. Along the way, he discovers a mystery that could lead to a very dangerous war. Here is my reaction to Denis Villeneuve's film after my first time watching it!
Today I review the Sci-Fi cult classic Blade Runner starring Harrison Ford. Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) is forced by the police Boss (M. Emmet Walsh) to continue his old job as Replicant Hunter. His assignment: eliminate four escaped Replicants from the colonies who have returned to Earth. Before starting the job, Deckard goes to the Tyrell Corporation and he meets Rachel (Sean Young), a Replicant girl he falls in love with.
I watched The Intern starring Robert De Niro for the first time yesterday! The Intern is a "comedy" about a senior citizen who becomes an intern for a young entrepreneur who owns an online clothing company! Anne Hathaway plays Jules Osten alongside Robert De Niro as Ben Whittaker in this uplifting and heart-warming story!
Brave is a 2012 Pixar film about Merida, a Scottish princess, who doesn't want to just live her life by the typical princess code. She's athletic, strong, courageous, and independent, but she's also a bit rash. Brave was the only Pixar movie I had not seen before this watch-through, so I was very excited to check it out! CHiPs is a film written and directed by Dax Shepard starring himself and Michael Pena as two California Highway Patrol cops trying to prove different things. This is probably the lowest-rated film I've reviewed so far as part of my 24 days of movie reviews, but check out the podcast to hear my first-time reaction after watching it last night.
Dinner For Schmucks is a 2010 comedy starring Paul Rudd and Steve Carell and it is the featured movie of day number 6 of my 24 days of reviews series! This movie was absolutely wild from start to finish, and I found myself laughing hysterically at various points in the movie. This is my reaction after my very first time watching it.
Today's reaction is on The Imitation Game, a 2014 film starring Benedict Cumberbatch as the UK's Alan Turing. Turing was a mathematician during WWII who played a large role in the allies winning the war and defeating the Nazis. Alongside Cumberbatch are other big names like Keira Knightley as Joan Clarke, and Mark Strong as Stewart Menzies. The Shawshank Redemption is one of the most beloved movies of all time. However, this is my first time ever watching it. Even with all the hype and some of the highest expectations of any movie I've ever watched, it absolutely did not disappoint. It's only day 3 of the 24 days of movie reviews, but already we have the first certified classic! Today I'm talking about Tom Hanks's classic film Forrest Gump. This movie came out in 1994 and won the Best Picture award over some other classic movies. Tom Hanks also won his second straight best actor award for his leading performance. I had a good time watching this movie, so I hope you enjoy my review!
Day two of the #24daysofmoviereviews features the story of Facebook Co-Founder Mark Zuckerberg in the Social Network! Zuckerberg is played by the talented Jesse Eisenberg who is phenomenal. This film also features Andrew Garfield, Justin Timberlake, Brenda Song, and Rashida Jones. Really enjoyed my time with this movie so I hope you enjoy this quick review!
