In Episode 12, we discuss the missing persons case of Sherryl Jacquot, the first in a series of cases we will be discussing that feature Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women. Sherryl went missing from her home in Stilwell, Oklahoma, in 1999. Locals to the area all appear to know who was responsible for Sherryl’s fate, but no one is talking. Hear about her case and how the co-host Faith Phillips, the Cherokee Nation and others are bringing awareness to complex cases involving domestic violence, violence against indigenous women and other challenges.
Episode 11: Morgan Nick is the case of a missing child who was abducted from a baseball field in Alma, Arkansas, in 1995. Morgan Nick’s case has ties to Oklahoma and our area, and it has been recently in the news because of new developments and a Hulu documentary. Faith and Shaun review the circumstances of Morgan’s abduction, recent updates and other information about similar abductions. This is the first in a series of missing persons cases coming up on Okie Noir.
