The end of an era, and the start of something new
They say all good things must come to an end, and the Good Sesh is no exception!
My time leading Big Little Brush has come to an end, and I've handed the reins of over to the amazing crew at Red Dust. (read more about that here.) With that in mind, it feels only right to bring the Good Sesh to a close too. It's been such a dream to interview some of the coolest folks on the planet, each doing super interesting (and good) things.
A huge thank you to everyone who's been a guest, has listened to the show, or supported us in some way. It's deeply appreciated :)
I'm enjoying having less on my plate and getting back to some of the other things I love in life.

Meet Matiu Bush
- Matiu is the founder of One Good Street, a community organising non-profit focussed on supporting the aged and lonely in our communities.
- Matiu is also a nurse practitioner, and provisional PHD candidate at Deakin University, with a focus on infectious disease, and sexual & reproductive health. Matiu has also been working & nursing on the frontlines of Victoria's COVID-19 response since the beginning of the pandemic.

Meet Marjorie Tenchavez
- Marjorie is the founder of Welcome Merchant, a social enterprise that elevates businesses led by refugees and people seeking asylum in Australia. Welcome Merchant connects refugee entrepreneurs and their wider community. It aims to elevate the voices of refugee and asylum seeker entrepreneurs in Australia through curated dining experiences and their online directory.
- Together we talked about the importance of supporting refugee originated businesses here in Australia, some of the challenges refugees might face, and the connectedness and value business can hold for refugees and their families in a new country.

- Teli is a great friend of ours at BLB, we've worked together on getting brushes in to the hands of stacks of kids in remote Communities around the NT.
- In high school Teli wanted to be an actor, but found health promotion and hasn't looked back
