What is up everybody? On today's show I discuss some interesting news stories on the business side of things. Capcom moving to PC sales centric, Battlefield 1 getting a huge player count boost due to a sale, and the AMD GPU providing power and efficiency becoming a cost effective alternative to the 40 series from Nvidia. Finally, is anybody else struggling to finish playthroughs right now because I am? I start games and immediately feel a need to start another and another in a cycle that's left me with a lot of downloaded titles, but nothing finished.

What's up everybody and sorry for the hushed tones and not having my usual loud self on the show this episode. I 've got about a dozen family members in my house for early holiday stuff and it required talking as if I'm in a church. Hope the audio isn't too bad, but on today's show since it's the beginning of the month we of course covered some of the most interesting titles being released this month of November. Some old fan favorites and a new IP will look to top the sales charts and make the critics swoon. In the second segment of the show, I talk about finding my joy again as for the last 2 weeks I've had uninterrupted ability to play games again. That may not seem like much, but I thought it was over for me and I needed a new hobby. Glad to say it isn't. Alright that's too much here so enjoy the show and catch y'all next week.

What's up everybody and thanks for coming back. On Today's Show, the news segment is loaded with Overwatch 2 updates, as well as, my continued frustration with the choices the devs are making for Total War Warhammer 3 Immortal Empires. A Frustration that has led me to uninstall for a while. The last segment of today's show is about the title, the cost of creating a new PC from scratch with top 5% hardware has gotten difficult financially. Even Pre-Built machines have become a major expense for a luxury item. I can no longer afford to keep up with the cost of advancement and that's a bittersweet realization. Hope you enjoy the show and see y'all next week.

What's up Everbody? On Today's episode, some major news has broken and I give my two cents for what they're worth on the Overwatch 2 bugs and issues, the 30 series cards for Nvidia price drops which is huge for us thrift buyers, and No Man's Sky finally fumbling an update and making their devoted fans angry. Finally we end the show talking about Fallout 4 and it's enduring legacy. Thanks for Listening, hope you enjoy the show.

Greetings and welcome back to the show. This week we tackle the hard hitting news questions from the past 7 days including how a foam pit at TwitchCon is taking out more people than got hurt in the NFL last week. A Dad and His PC, your place for catastrophic and preventable injury news. Also this week, I've finally gotten enough time to have tangible opinions on Total War: Warhammer 3 and even as a huge strategy game fan, the only word I can use to describe my experience so far is Frustrating. Hope you enjoy the show this week.

What is up everybody and welcome back to A Dad and His PC. I want to thank all of y'all that keep listening every week and can't wait for y'all to hear this episode. I open the show talking about the 3 major releases of the month which anybody with a pulse that follows video game news knows that Overwatch, Gotham Knights, and MW2 are coming for our souls. Shorter episode than normal with only 2 segments, but I felt the 2nd one was pretty important for the older gamers like myself that have become more hobbyists due to their full time careers. Been struggling with Mental Health and Decision Fatigue and how that has affected my desire to even launch a game and play. I know there are others like me who may be experiencing this feeling and I hope what I have to say spoke to you and maybe provided you with some insights into what you're going through in your life. Again Thanks for listening and see y'all next week.

Welcome back everybody! On today's show, I talk about the Twitch revenue split changes driving streamers and creators crazy and wondering how Amazon can't suddenly afford their servers. After that, Nvidia stole the show with the 4090 reveal and I do my best to break that down and what it could potentially mean for the future of GPU's. Lastly, Saints Row didn't flop, but it did limp out of the starting gate and I am starting to wonder if nostalgia is enough to sell these constant reboots that have been coming out lately or is something else needed to make these old IP's in a new facelift successful.

What's up everybody and welcome to another episode of A Dad and His PC. On today's show I wanted to discuss a couple news stories that came across my notifications recently one being hilarious and the other making me excited for the spring. The Netflix bump is apparently real for IP's that get shows released and seeing an uptick in concurrent and peak player counts when their related shows debut on Netflix. In the B segment came the excitement with the TGS live stream and update for Octopath Traveler 2 the sequel to the best JRPG in years. Finally, as I enter 2 months of making this show I wanted to give a little BTS look at what I've been figuring out as I go and where I think this show is going versus what I had envisioned in the beginning. Thanks for listening.

Welcome to this week's show and as the title says, I talked about the Ubisoft Forward event and how it eventually devolved into a Russian Nesting Doll of Assassin's Creed games and information. But there were some unique IP's coming out that might have stole the show. I then talked about how I've evolved into something I affectionately call a "comfort" gamer rather than casual and I'm wondering how many of y'all are like that as well. Finally, with The Pitt releasing this week, I revisted my time with Fallout 76 and how it went from one of my favorite must play games to something I uninstalled without fanfare and how I got to that point. I know I can't be the only one who felt that way recently. As always, I hope you enjoy the show and see y'all next week.

Hope you enjoy the show.

Today's episode was a fun one to record. I got to share with y'all what it's like being a dad who tries to find the time to do his one hobby in a world of full time jobs with 80 hour work weeks and single parenthood. Time is an important factor to enjoy games and I'm finding less and less of it free and available. Ended the show talking about the breathtakingly awesome Total War Warhammer 3 Immortal Empires Beta. It's like they gave me all my favorite parts of the previous games and said here's some more fun bits too.

Today's episode focuses on my hands on time so far with Spider-Man Remastered on PC which released this month. I also go on a short rant about the current state of sports gaming. Okay I did the thing I probably should've done with episode 0 and gave a breakdown of my PC. Then I looked at a few titles that I'm looking forward to coming out soon, but the bulk of today's show is devoted to a No Man's Sky Re-Review for a game that I've always enjoyed but in the last 6 years has morphed into something unreal.

On the pilot episode of A Dad and his PC, I talk about a franchise that is one of my favorites and while it's flagship game has fallen on hard times, the spin offs have been immensely popular and carried it through the down years. We also look at cat simulator 2022 and the impact Stray is having on the world of video games right now and other new/interesting titles released or coming soon. We end the show with an Esports update and a thank you.
