Ahoy everyone! On November 30th the latest season in Splinterlands ended. Let's have a look at my rewards this time around. I got 2 chests more than in the previous season ending, but will that make a big difference for the rewards?

I didn't really play enough ranked in Modern to make it to Gold halfway the season. The night before EoS I was kinda struggling. In those last hours before the season ended I was doing some more battling and then I finally made it to Gold 3 in Modern.

You can hear me talk more about how the season went in the first part of the video if you'd like to.

Just a little bit more SPS than the previous season ending. The merits amount was much lower as I didn't get any bigger drops like last season. Way less Legendary Potions compared to last season, the Alchemy Potions are more or less the same.

I didn't get any Chaos Legion Packs this time either. I'm wondering if maybe the pool for them ran out. Or perhaps I was just unlucky for 2 EoS in a row. These past seasons I was in Silver for a longer time too so I barely had any Gold Daily Focus Chests. And the Silver chests have a lower chance to drop the packs so it could make sense I was just unlucky and didn't get any.

Awww damn no Gold Foil Cards AND no Legendary cards at all this End of Season. That is really unfortunate :(
At least there were a few Epic card reveals in there so that is at least something. Was hoping to see at least one of all the chests with cards have either a Gold Foil or a Legendary though. Hopefully more luck next season!

I do have 1 Chaos Legion Pack to open. I won it earlier during the season by winning a Tournament hosted by BunsBagsandCaps which he streamed live on his Twitch https://www./0bunsbagsandcaps

I'm opening that pack now with the End of Season. Let's see what's inside.

I find a Disintegrator and a Supply Runner for Neutral cards. Then a Hardy Stonefish and Kulu Swimhunter for Water Cards. And there is a Legendary in this pack so at least I technically do get a Legendary even though I won this Chaos Legion Pack like a week before. It's a Carnage Titan, sweet!

Ahoy, on November 15th the latest season in Splinterlands ended. In this video I'll have a little intro about the season as usual and then I move on to opening the End of Season Chests that I earned. Let's find out what's in them.

It took me long in the season to get to Gold in Modern. Not per se because of losing or anything, I had a positive winrate. It's just often I didn't play a lot in Modern yet but kept thinking I'll play and grind to Gold so I'll have Gold Daily Focus Chests. But every time I did that I didn't actually play a lot of battles and then the daily focus timer reset so I was like well no point in it right now since my next daily focus is for silver chests again already. Though that might have rather be an ideal time to start grinding to Gold though. Oh well anyway I did eventually grind to Gold, just didn't really play in it this season.
In Wild I have been in Silver throughout the whole season like usual.

This time I have 1 chest less than last season so 63 chests instead of 64.

Not a lot of SPS at all from these chests, slightly lower than the amount I got in the last Season ending. Not a lot lower though.
I did get 2400 Merits, which is more than 1 Gladius Case that I could get with those.

Speaking of Gladius Cases I actually opened 11 of them a few days ago, which I recorded as well. BUUUUUT I didn't realise my microphone wasn't on or plugged in while recording it. So yeah that video ended up being without audio :/
I'm thinking if I should record new audio while watching it or if maybe I'll just put them in a regular post.

Got 69 Legendary Potions ;) and then 89 Alchemy. This time no Chaos Legion Packs. I also didn't get any of them in my Daily Focus chests throughout the whole season. I still have 1 to open though that I won in a tournament from bunsbagsandcaps during this season.

Ayy a pretty nice amount of Gold Foil cards there with 4 of the chests with cards having Gold Foils. Most are Common though but at least there is a chest with some Gold Foil Rares in it as well.
No legendaries here, but I did get a few throughout the season so at least I did get some.
Hehe Helios Matriarch likes to troll me by showing up in low amounts. At least I got her to level 4 a while back already, but still would be nice to get some more copies though to eventually level her up to level 5.

So yeah I didn't get any Chaos Legion Packs from the Loot Chests all season, but I do have 1 to open that I won from bunsbagsandcaps' tournament during the season.

Starting off with opening it, the top row has Deeplurker, Hardy Stonefish and Flying Squid. Damn hahahaha the whole top row is all 3 of the Common WATER Element cards from Chaos Legion xDD At this rate it might be a Water Pack xD
In the bottom row there is a Common and a Rare card to reveal.
The Common card could be a Water card if it's a Gold Foil version of one of those I revealed earlier.
It is GOLD FOIL!!! But Crypt Beetle and not one of the Water cards xP
Let's see the Rare. OH it is Angelic Mandarin, a Rare from the WATER ELEMENT!

Seeee if that Gold Foil Crypt Beetle had just been a Gold Foil of the Common Water cards then this would've been a complete Water Chaos Legion Pack!! 🤣🤣

Ahoy! This past weekend on October 30th the latest season in Splinterlands ended. I recorded my video of opening my End of Season loot chests later that evening, but as usual I get distracted with writing the post so the upload itself is quite late compared to the season ending.

In the video I'm talking a bit about the season at first before I click on the Claim button to get those 64 Gold End of Season loot chests.

I was just short of getting to 65 Loot Chests like last season because earlier in the day when I played a bit I had a bit too many losses to my liking and decided to stop instead of grinding to that last chest. Especially since I had some plans out with friends so I was also a bit limited in my time to continue trying to grind.

A decent amount of Rare Cards. Just 2 Epic cards. And yay 1 chest with Legendary!

It's Iziar! Haha last End of Season I also got Iziar in my End of Season Loot Chests. That time it was 2 copies and I was actually 1 copy away from getting her to level 3. With this copy in my End of Season chests I'll now actually be able to level up my Iziar to level 3! Definitely gotta make sure I level up my General Sloan as well then to make use of her getting the Martyr ability at level 3!

Time to open up those 5 Chaos Legion Packs now.

Alright that's slightly better than the standard packs in terms of rarity as I got 3 Rares and 2 Epics in there. I did end up getting 3 Gold Foil cards in there so that's pretty cool even if they were all Common rarity!

What's kinda funny to me here is that all the 3 Gold Foil Common cards and both of those Regular Foil Epic cards are all from the Fire and Death Elements xD Those were two Elements were showing up a lot in these packs. I guess the Fire cards were drawn to the Gold Foil Grum Flameblade I got in my last video!

This past Sunday October 15th the latest season in Splinterlands ended. Before the season ended I was getting ready to head out for Timburr Community Day in Pokémon GO where I walked around with some friends. So I recorded the opening of my Season Chests later in the evening. I probably should've tried uploading my video and the post on that night xP I didn't do it on Monday cause it would've been so short after sharing my Battle Mage Secrets post. Then Tuesday I had to focus on other stuff so yeah I'm really late now with uploading it. But better later than never I guess!

This time I earned 65 Gold Loot chests for the End of Season rewards. I finished the season in Modern in Gold 2 which reset me back to Silver 1.

Damn hahaha those bigger SPS chests were quite a bit! That 2nd chest that had 96 SPS in it was already more SPS than I got from ALL of my End of Season chests combined in the previous season ending xD The Merits are almost half of a Gladiator pack. This time there was a much bigger difference for the potions as I got 31 Alchemy Potions more than Legendary. Nice I got 3 Chaos Legion Packs and I believe I had 1 ready to open before claiming my season rewards so that makes it 4 packs to open.

I mention in the video that maybe I could get her to level 3 now. But I checked later and nope last time I got her I had enough copies for level 2 without any extra. So now I'm still 1 copy away from getting her to level 3. Gotta wait until I get her again then.

Right as I finished talking about how it would've been awesome to see the Grund being Gold Foil, I open up a Gold Foil Legendary Grum Flameblade!!!! 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮 The first 3 letters of their name are even the same!

Ahoy! Yesterday on September 30th the latest season in Splinterlands ended.

Just like last season I finished the season in Gold 2. This time the battles definitely seemed to be going smoother than last time as I had a positive winrate again. It still seemed better to end the season in Gold 2 for Modern so that would be reset back to Silver 1 and then I'll play in Silver for a few days at the start of the season before I'll move up.

In the last hours of the season I didn't really end up playing cause I kinda forgot. Was headed outside during the time I'd usually still play a bunch of games before season ends. So I didn't play my energy down to around 20 like usual. Instead when I was recording the video of my End of Season loot chests I was at like 46 energy xP This contributed to getting just 60 Loot Chests, but y'know last season I got 61 so it's not even a big difference.

In Wild my ranked battles were all in Silver like usual.

I got 1 Chaos Legion Pack so that makes 2 for the season as I had 1 just a day or two ago from my Daily Focus.

Chaos Legion Packs now. Just 2 to open this time, which is still something. Let's see what I get.

Oh there are only 9 cards so there is a duplicate in here.

Let's see if the duplicate is a Common or a Rare, most likely a Common though.

Starting of with the first common is a Silent Sha-Vi. Next to it is a Deeplurker, then after a Rare that I reveal later I find a Crypt Beetle. In the second row I click on one that's a Common and I reveal 2 Sunkai Harvester. So that's the duplicate! The other 2 Common cards in that row are Stitch Leech and Supply Runner.

Now time to get back to that Rare in the middle of the top row, and it's a Goblin Tower. At the right side of the top row I find a Xenith Archer and then below it a Xenith Monk for the remaining two Rares. It's the Neutral corner over there and even more precisely for the two Rares all the way to the right it's the Xenith line or something xP

Too bad no Gold Foils here either, but with just 2 packs I couldn't expect to see much.

Ahoy, on the 15th of September the latest season of Splinterlands ended. I did record the opening of my End of Season loot chests that evening and my plan was to make the thumbnail and write the post on Saturday. But stuff came in between and well now it's really Sunday night when I'm trying to write the post xP

This time the season felt really a lot harder to play! I didn't even make it to Gold 1 I believe. I got really close to it but never actually made it through. When I looked at my winrate it was also below 50% which explains why I couldn't climb up to Gold 1. Really rough! I've heard rumours of lots of players using battle helpers in Modern Ranked and well looking at my winrate compared to other seasons I can definitely believe that a lot were.

At least I didn't have to consider dropping down to Gold 2 again after reaching Gold 1 before the season ended so I could maybe play a few days in Silver League at the start of the season.

In Wild format I've been in Silver throughout the whole season when I had battles there if I couldn't play much in Modern or well if I was just done playing in Modern for a few hours because of the losses x/

I managed to get 61 Gold End of Season Loot Chests. I was at 60 a few hours before the season ended and really close to 61 so I just grinded to get one more chest. In the video you can kinda see how I had some wins but then trying to get that extra chest I ended up with 2 losses before another win xD

A bit more SPS and Merits than the last time but not like a whole lot more. Potions are quite similar in amounts. I got 2 Chaos Legion Packs this time and throughout the season I had 3 of them in all my Daily Focus chests which I kept saved up. That means I have 5 to open at the end.

Those Swamp Spitters were really showing up A LOT hahahaha. The maximum I got of any other card was a total of 5 but for those Swamp Spitters I got 25 in total since they showed up in so many of the chests! 😂

Sweet 3 of the chests turned out to have Gold Foil cards in them!

A really low amount of Rare Cards this time around! No legendaries. At least one chest had Epic Cards in it for 2 copies of Noa the Just. These were exactly enough for me to get Noa the Just to level 3 where he gets the Dodge ability!

Let's see what I get! From those 5 packs I get the following cards, leaving out the Common Cards (except for Gold Foil).

Oh wow from opening 5 packs I got the minimum of 5 Rares BUT also got 3 Epics on top of that. That's really awesome!
Also had a bit of Gold Foil luck here as one card, the Hill Giant, turned out to be Gold Foil. Always nice to see!

Ahoy, it's been a little while since I had a video with some Gladius Cases opening. Here we are with a new one!

I quite like opening 11 of them at a time now, it's kinda nice the double 1 there for the number. Speaking of that, when I was going to buy some Gladius Cases I saw my Merits were funnily enough at something with those double or even triple of the same number! As I had 133,999 merits. So a double 3 and a triple 9 in there. Because 11 Gladius Cases costs 22,000 Merits that meant my total Merits went down to 111,999 so now it's even more amazing to see! Triple 1's and triple 9's for my Merits amount before I go to open 11 Gladius Cases!

I did open one Gladius Case last night or so too after the Brawl ended. In my previous video I'm quite sure I mentioned that I do sometimes open one or two after the Brawl and then keep the rest of the Merits. Although sometimes when I was above 132k Merits from Daily or Seasonal Focus Chests I went to buy one too.

Since the last video and now I got some Epics from those Gladius Cases that I opened, but still none of them were Quora though so I am still missing 1 Quora to get her to level 3!

Could this opening finally bring me to a level 3 Quora?!

Let's find out!

In the first row I start with 2 Hugo Strongsword, follower by 2 of Kothriphus Bayne. Then the amount goes up one as I find 3 Isgald Vorst but goes right back down to two as I get 2 Relenor Cleaver. Then suddenly 6 of the same card for Bertrol Gobson!

In row 2 from the right side it seems we stay with the Earth Element for a bit as I find 2 Cutter Brieze followed by 3 Katrelba Gobson. Wow the 6 of one Common even gets beat as I find 7 Witch of Warwick here. This row is then finished off by finding both of the Fire Common Gladiators and also 4 copies of both of them, these are Krash Wanderword and Chimney Wallstop.

The third row has an Epic, that's sweet! And ooooooohhh a Legendary right next to it! Those will be opened after all the Common and Rares. So the cards that I reveal in the third row are a Paldion Rakk, 2 Helmet Kharafax and an Alfredo.

Ayyoooo the next row from the right has 2 Epics next to each other. That makes 3 Epic Cards in here! Definitely increasing my chances for Quora as there are only 5 different Epic Gladiators. The chance could decrease though if one of these is Gold Foil because then they could be the same Gladiators just one Regular Foil and one Gold Foil.
The rest of that row has a Whistling Damon, a Captain Katie and 2 Orella Abadon. Ah Captain Katie would be really cool to get Gold Foil too but unfortunately it's not the case!

Down to the final row, there are 4 cards left to reveal. 1 Sarius, 1 Liza Fox and 1 Ajax Lightfoot for the 3 Rares and then one more Common to finish off the row which turns out to be 3 Alva the Crusher as that's the only Common Gladiator we didn't see throughout the opening yet.

Time to go check out those Epics and the Legendary!

Let's start with the lowest row on the far right and move towards the left that way.

The first Epic is... Edith Emberstar and ooooohh look at that it's 2 copies of Edith so this actually makes it be at least 4 Epics in these 11 Gladius Cases instead of 3 Epics!

To the left of Edith is... Trapp Falloway.

Well that's 2 different ones as they're Regular Foil. Which means that if the last Epic is also Regular Foil I'll have a 1 in 3 chance for it to be Quora. If it's Gold Foil well it'll be 1 in 5 chance.

Let's check it out, the last Epic is... Marisol Contuma. Not bad at all! Just really unfortunate that it isn't that last Quora yet that I need for her at level 3. Hopefully some more luck with that next time! I also recently levelled Marisol to level 3 so yeah just really wanna get Quora there as well xP

Well so far it's only Gorth and Marisol at level 3 though even with these copies my Edith and Trapp are still gonna be level 2 so at least Quora isn't the only one that's behind =P

Ahoy fellow Splinterlands players. Earlier this week on August 31st the latest season in Splinterlands ended. I was gone from home for a while when the season ended so I recorded my opening much later as you can see in the video too when you can see some of my latest matches.
I'm also even later on uploading the video. I wanted to do that yesterday but didn't get to it. So posting it today!

Last season I ended up falling back to Gold 2 before the season ended. Which placed me in Silver 1 after the seasonal reset. I played in Silver for a few days then, which went alright. Then one day I did forget to advance to Gold before the Daily Focus ended. So I was like "well I gues I'll go for another day of Silver Daily Focus and just play in Silver then and advance before this Daily Focus ends". But then I ended up losing quite a bunch of games too and didn't actually get to the rating for advancing to Gold 😅 So then I spent like 2 or so more days in Silver before I advanced back to Gold for the Modern League.

At the end of the season I was wondering if I should spend some energy to lose until I dropped back down to Gold 2 so that I could play a few days in Silver this next season. I decided I wouldn't cause it'd be quite some Energy required to lose enough rating for that. One of the opponents I fought against in the few hours before season ending did seem to be doing that though.

So yeah I finished the Season in Gold 1 for Modern League and Silver 1 for Wild League.

I managed to get 68 Gold End of Season Loot Chests this season! I did also last longer than the previous one.

Aww just 1 copy of Helios Matriarch. Near the end of the last season I was 1 Helios Matriarch away from level 3. Then I got a few copies in my Daily Focus before the Season ended and also some copies in my End of Season chests. With those copies I got her to level 3 and was then 2 copies away from level 4. I didn't get her all season from my Daily Focus. Now in the End of Season I get 1 copy so I'm once again 1 copy away from levelling her up now 😅😅 Hopefully soon!

Nice one of the cards with chests turned out to be Gold Foil! Also these 2 copies were just enough for me to get my Gold Foil Madcap Magus to level 4 so I did that upgrade!

Yay this time I got a Legendary in my EoS!! Just 1 copy unfortunately but at least it's still a Legendary! Also this is a new one. I already had the Terraceous Hulk but was still missing this one from the 2 Earth Legendaries. Nice!

Well in the last video I went below 10 Chaos Legion Packs when I opened up 10 and so this time I won't be able to open 10 like I've always been doing with my Season Ending videos. I still had 4 before the season ended and I got 2 from my EoS chests so I'm at 6 Chaos Legion Packs to open in this video.

Let's see what I get! From those 6 packs I get the following cards, leaving out the Common Cards (except for Gold Foil).

Rare Cards:

• 2x Diemonshark
• 1x Merdaali Guardian

Haha the first 4 rares were all from the Water Element. With a River Nymph, 2 Diemonshark and a Merdaali Guardian. It's as if these packs knew that I just recently made upgrades to my Water Chaos Legion cards to get some at the lower Gold levels. Since I upgraded all 3 of those Rares to level 5 in that video and now they show up in these Packs too 😂🤣 They'll be great to use for when I eventually upgrade them to level 6.

Alright the packs are just slightly better than the minimum. Since I got 6 Rares and 1 Epic out of them.

Too bad no Gold Foils in here though but oh well. Let's hope I get some Chaos Legion Packs throughout the next Season's Daily Focus and in the End of Season chests so I can open some more during that video!

Ahoy fellow Splinterlands player. In this video I'm levelling up my Kelya Frendull to level 5 so that she reaches the lower Gold League level. With getting her to level 5 I'm also going to be able to level up a few Monsters to their lower Gold league levels where some of them gain important new abilities!

For all the cards I'm upgrading I will be talking about why I'm upgrading those to the particular level that I'm upgrading them to. There are also some cards that I'm not entirely upgrading to Gold League level yet and for those I also explain why.

I suppose I'll briefly summarize about the upgrades here too, with more talk about it in the video itself.

Hardy Stonefish is the first card in the list and well this card is one I'm actually not upgrading currently. I rarely throw this card in my team, just sometimes in Low Mana battles it can be nice as it needs at least 2 Melee/Ranged hits to be taken out if there is no Armor Reduction. At level 4 it will give me a small penatly for low level if I do play it in Gold League, but since it's Gold Foil level 4 I hope that bonus from Gold Foil kinda cancels out the penalty for lower level.

Now the first card that I will be upgrading is the Kulu Swimhunter. This card was still at level 4 so not even maxed for Silver league yet. With this upgrade I'm getting it from level 4 straight to level 6. Where it gains +1 Ranged attack and +1 Speed compared to level 4. Unfortunately it does lose 1 Health, which it'll gain back at level 7. For now I'll have it at level 6 with the extra Ranged attack and Speed.

My Cruel Sethropod is level 4 in both Regular and Gold Foil. I placed some bids for a few extra Gold Foil copies but they never got filled and the price kept going up. I decided I'll start buying Regular foils for this video. So I'm levelling the Regular foil from level 4 straight to level 6. With that it gains +1 Armour and +1 Health. Not a big chance but it still makes it a little bit tankier especiall for Low Mana battles.

One of the important cards I'm levelling up that gain new abilities is the Flying Squid. I already had it at level 5, the max for Silver League, and now I'm upgrading it to level 6. It loses 1 Health unfortunately but for that drawback it gains a new ability: Blind. With this Ability all my opponent's Melee and Ranged Monsters will have an increased chance of missing. Seems like a great ability for just losing 1 Health. Also when I eventually upgrade it to level 7 it'll gain that Health back.

Another important card that gains a new ability at Gold League is the Deeplurker. Just like the Flying Squid I already had it at level 5 so I'm just upgrading this by 1 level. Going from level 5 to 6 it loses the Speed that it gained at level 5, which is a bit unfortunate for sure. But it gains the Poison ability now! Which can be really great if it hits a Monster thanks to its Opportunity and then lands the Poison that could really help with taking that Monster out. Especially if it's like a 1-2 Health Monster that just has really high Armour. This is one of the upgrades I was looking forward to the most.

Angelic Mandarin is the first of the Rare cards that I'm levelling. I already had this one at level 4, the max for Silver League for that Triage ability. Now it's time to get it levelled up though. Getting this one from level 4 to level 5 at a Gold League level it gains +1 Ranged attack. That extra damage could definitely help so it's important to get this card upgraded too.

One of the most important Rare cards to upgrade now that I'm upgrading to Gold league levels is Merdaali Guardian. She was still at level 3 because all she'd get at level 4 was an extra Health. Now I'm upgrading her straight to level 5 so she gets a new ability. Going from level 4 to level 5 she also loses a Health. Since mine was still at level 3 it's not really noticeable for me but it's still a fact. At level 5 she now gains the Repair ability. Really great ability! Now she can Heal and also Repair Armour. Which pairs really well with Kelya since she provides +1 Armour to all Monsters on the team.

Diemonshark at level 4 was already important with that Enrage ability. At level 5 it just gains +1 Health. But that makes it go from 8 Health to 9 Health which means when it receives healing it'll get healed for 3 now. That could make a huge difference in fights that take a bit longer so it's a great upgrade.

River Nymph doesn't gain much going from level 4 to level 5 either. Just like Diemonshark she already gained a new ability at level 4 and now at level 5 she just gets +1 Health. Still a cute card though and if I'm levelling the other Rare cards to level 5 there is just no way I'm leaving her behind.

The most important Rare card to level up now. Kelya Frendull because without levelling her up in this video the other upgrades I made wouldn't even matter xP Since I don't have any Dragon Summoners at Gold League level yet. So yeah this upgrade makes the most sense get Kelya from level 4 to level 5 so she's at lower Gold League levels and I can bring other Monsters at their lower Gold League levels into battle.

Nerissa Tridawn she just gains +1 Speed when I level her from level 2 to 3 but this also puts her at max Silver level and so she won't lose me any Focus Points when I play her in Gold League. Well her +1 Speed could also help if she attacks first.

Wave Brood gains +1 Ranged attack when I upgrade it. And since this Taunt also has Close Range it could definitely help a lot with some additional damage output.

I would've wanted to level Igor Darkspear to at least level 3 too and maybe even to level 4 which is its lowest Gold League level where it also gains the Stun ability. But my bids didn't get filled and the price kept going up a lot higher. So I didn't end up getting the missing ones for level 3 yet let alone for level 4. Perhaps another time!

Last but not least I upgrade Baakjira. From level 2 to level 3 it gains +1 Health and then it also gains the Heal ability. So now he is a high Health tank that can also Heal himself. Making him an even more amazing tank! Also in other rulesets like Poison or Earthquake you could throw him a bit later in the team since he'd keep healing himself every turn.

That wraps it up for these upgrades. Hopefully I can upgrade Igor Darkspear to level 3 or 4 soon!

Ahoy everyone, yesterday on August 14th the latest season in Splinterlands has ended. I recorded my video in the evening, I claimed my EoS chests about 8 hours after it ended. Uploading the video now.

Just like last season I didn't really make it to Diamond 3 in Modern. Actually this time nowhere near it even. Well actually I wouldn't really say that. I got to about halfway between Gold 1 and Diamond 3. But on the last day I definitely had a lot of losses. Especially when trying to chase one more Season chest. Which eventually put me just below 2500 rating and that dropped me back down to Gold 2.

This ended up placing me in Silver 1 after the season reset :O So maybe I should've tried to still get more wins in to get back to Gold 1 but at the same time it might have resulted in more losses xP

It does definitely seem that a lot of players I used to play against have moved back down to Silver or well it's also possible of course that the majority of those I faced on Modern before the no bots were just bots that have moved to wild.

Modern is definitely more enjoyable now though without all those bots.

Maybe it's not too bad if I end the season in Gold 2, after having reached Gold 1 of course. And then drop to Silver 1 with the season reset so I play in Silver 1 for like the first day or two of the season before I advance back to gold.

Now that I was earning Gold season chests again instead of Diamond ones I have also been playing Silver league in the Wild format. As those focus points weren't as bad for the EoS chests now.

I've often been in the top 25 there, but ended the season in 27th place so just 2 places shy from the leaderboards unfortunately.

Alright so I made 58 Gold End of Season loot chests. Not really that many more compared to the Diamond ones actually. Like last openng I had 45 Diamond chests now 58 Gold, just 13 more. I'm not really sure how that weighs up against the lower legendary chance and lower gold foil chance. It's 0.4% less chance for legendary and 1% less chance for gold foil.

A lot less potions this time, but that's fine I have plenty right now anyway.

Ooohh 3 Chaos Legion Pack chests was nice though!

Wow Helios Matriarch :O Until the day before EoS it had been sooooo many weeks well even months actually since I got any Helios Matriarch. She was at lvl 2 with 1 copy away from level 3 for aaaaages like literally months without seeing her. But then the daily focus before EoS I actually got 3 copies of her and got her to level 3. Now I also got 2 chests in my EoS with Helios Matriarch in it!! Sweet!

Hahaha I checked afterwards and now I'm 2 copies away from level 4. So in the span of the 1-2 days I ended up from 1 copy away from lvl 3 to 2 copies away from lvl 4. Well I hope this time I don't have to wait months before she shows up again 😅😅😂😂

Time to open 10 Chaos Legion Packs like I usually do after claiming my End of Season rewards. I ended up getting some from my Daily Focuses throughout the season and then well 3 from the EoS chests too. So I am still above 10 to open 10 here. I've been watching SplinterlandsTV on Twitch regularly and they had a Gold Foil Byzantine Kitty in the giveaways. This was won by someone yesterday and I saw it happen live. Because of someone winning it I was feeling like maybe opening 1 of my Untamed Packs. Especially now that I opened a Gold Foil Legendary I was like alright let's give it a try for 1 Untamed Pack.

Unfortunately the pack had 4 Common Cards and a Rare Card like the minimum. But hey the Rare card turned out to be Gold Foil so that's not so bad then! It's near the end of the video if you wanna watch it.

Ahoy, the latest season in Splinterlands has ended on July 31st. I did record my video that day and was planning to upload it the next day. But I didn't get to it and well then I've kinda forgotten to take some time to edit it and write the post.

My apologies thus for this really late upload, but at least I am finally posting it!

So this season has been quite different compared to before because halfway the season the usage of bots has been banned in Modern format! Well since bots had been evolving a lot it's partially become easier but at the same time it also became a bit more difficult with less people using Silver league maxed cards in Gold I suppose. Overall I was still doing quite well! But I didn't exactly get to Diamond 3 this time around. I was getting quite close but then I had some losses too. Honestly 2 of them were just really terrible RNG for me.. With my opponents hitting my Monsters almost all the time and mine missing. Even if we both used one with Dodge for example mine just keep missing the opponent's and they hit me as if they had True Strike which they didn't though.

That's what happened but it is what it is. Now I finished the season in Gold 1 which does mean I will be getting Gold Season chests this season, but it might be interesting to see a comparison between the two. So overall it's not too bad, but I do have to make sure I get a lot more season chests now. Which should be easier since the gold ones require less points.

I definitely have been enjoying ranked battles in Modern a lot more now though thanks to those changes! =D

So yeah I ended this season with 45 Diamond End of Season chests, that's 3 less chests than last season and still a quite good amount.

Ahoy, it is time to open some Gladius Cases. Between the last video and this one I have sometimes been opening a Gladius Case because I really want one more Quora so I can upgrade her to level 3 OR have a chance that it's a Gold Foil Quora. Usually just 1 pack at a time though, keeping some of my brawl Merits saved up for videos like this where I open more.

I decided to open 11 like last time, it's quite nice looking with the double same number compared to opening like 10 for example.

Starting off with 2 Bertrol Gobson, 6 Hugo Strongsword and 4 Witch of Warwick. Then this first row has some double Rares as I find 2 copies of Kothripus Bayne and 2 copies of Ajax Lightfoot here.

In the next row I flip over a GOLD FOIL Katrelba Gobson! Awesome always great to pull Gold Foil cards! This is one I already have because I had both Common and both Rare Earth Gladiators in Gold Foil for so long! Still I do believe this is my 2nd copy of her in Gold Foil which means I can level her and get increased stats to use her in the brawl.

Right after that I spot a Legendary! Of course like usual I will reveal this one at the end.

Then I find a Captain Katie, always great to see! Hope to have her turn Gold Foil sometime soon too.

Wow another GOLD FOIL Gladiator now in that row, this time it's Witch of Warwick! That's a new Gold Foil Gladiator for me and it's also the first Gold Foil one for the Death Element, sweeet!!

Then the last card in that row is Liza Fox.

Moving on to the next round I find another Rare, this time it's 3 copies of Relenor Cleaver. Back to Commons then with 4 Alva the Crusher and 5 Chimney Wallstop.

Oh an epic up next! Could it be a Quora?! I'll reveal the rest first and get back to this one.

The last card in that row is Orella Abadon with 2 copies of him.

Now on to the last full row of 5 cards. First I find 3 Whistling Damon followed by 1 Alfredo. 4 copies of Krash Wanderford and then 1 Cutter Brieze, finishing off the row with 4 Helmet Kharafax.

The last row are just 2 more cards. One of them is 3 copies of Isgald Vorst and the other is 3 regular foil copies of Katrelba Gobson.

Now it's time to go and reveal the Epic and the Legendary! Which you can find out in the video.

After the opening I go to check if there are many upgrades I can do and double check on the Gold Foil Witch of Warwick.

Gold Foil Katrelba Gobson was indeed my 2nd copy of her, so I upgraded her to level 4 with the Gold Foil now where she gets an extra attack. With the Double Strike that's even 2 additional damage. Let's see if I can use her at this higher level in the upcoming brawl.

Witch of Warwick is indeed my first Gold Foil Gladiator for Death, so I'm really excited about that finally having on available!

I'll also be levelling up Sarius to level 4 and Marisol Contuma to level 3. Apparently for Marisol Contuma I was also 1 copy away from level 3 and since I got that one with this opening I was not able to level it up. Not the greatest upgrade compared to Quora because Marisol doesn't gain an ability at level 3 it's just +1 Health. Whereas Quora does gain a new ability at level 3. Marisol does also gain a new ability later but requires level 4 so yeah in that aspect they definitely differ a bit. Still I do the upgrade and who knows maybe there's a situation where the extra 1 Health will help me survive and win!

Ahoy everyone! Yesterday on July 15th the latest season in Splinterlands has ended! I recorded my opening like an hour after the season ended, uploading a day later though as I had some stuff to do and didn't get to write the post yet.

Just like last season all of my Ranked battles have been in the Modern format. Where I played in Gold for the whole season. Near the end of the season I had a few losses and then got another win while I was trying to get one more win in to get to 48 End of Season Loot Chests. Which also got me another chest for my Daily Focus too! Luckily I didn't continue losing that much because my rating was once again slowly dropping with like 3 or so losses there. I still had enough rating for Diamond 3 so I advanced and waited for the season to end.

So yeah I ended this season with 48 Diamond End of Season chests, that's 3 less chests than last season and still a quite good amount.

Way less SPS than the last two seasons but still got just over a 100 so that's quite nice! Also around 1300 merits so that's not so bad it's just over half for a Gladius Case.

I did get a lot more Potions this time around, so I guess part of why I got way less SPS is that I actually had more chests with Potions compared to with SPS this time.

Oooohh 4 Chaos Legion Packs in the chests too, that's quite awesome!

BUT that copy of Iidri Fyre is the one I needed to get her to level 2 where she gets the Redemption ability. That might be fun! Definitely upgrading her soon!

Ah too bad this time no Gold Foil cards in them. I did just get like 5 Gold Foil Octavia Shadowmeld a day or two before so that was definitely great though!

Alright not bad some Gold Foils showing up here at least with a Gold Foil Common Gargoya Scrapper and a Gold Foil Rare Dhampir Stalker.

Also 11 Rares, 2 Epics and 1 Legendary is definitely a good amount above the minimum guarantee. Pretty good for sure!

Gem Meteor is a card that I haven't really used much, I should definitely level it up so it gains more Ranged attack. One reason I haven't used it much is that Scattershot rarely works in my favour xP But perhaps in a ruleset with Blast it can be really nice especially with its high speed.

My Legionnaire Alvar is currently level 2, it'd be nice to use this one I got in the packs and buy 2 more to upgrade it to level 3 as it gets the Demoralize ability then.

Ahoy, the latest season in Splinterlands ended on June 30th. I did record claiming my End of Season chests in the evening that day. I wanted to do so shortly after season ending but there were some issues so I did it a few hours later. I'm really late with uploading the video though. Bit of a busy weekend, and well yesterday I didn't really feel like writing the post yet so I'm uploading it today!

I once again didn't play Ranked in Wild at all. Of course I've had battles in Wild though when I joined some Tournaments and also for my Brawl battles.

All my ranked battles have been in Modern this season just like last season. I've been around the rating for Diamond 3 regularly but didn't advance until the last day. It was kinda rough those last 1-2 hours before the season ended. I reached the 50th chest but then after some battles I was so close to 51 End of Season chests. Ended up having a loss streak then! Which cost me quite some rating, but luckily once I got another win to get that 51st chest I still had enough rating to advance to Diamond 3. Which I did and then I waited until the season ended.

So yeah I ended this season with 51 EoS Diamond chests. A bit less than last season but this season also didn't last as long I'm pretty sure.

Now it's time to go open those Diamond Loot Chests

Great amount of Riverboat Captain's, now I finally have enough to get him to level 4. I kept him at level 1 all the time because of his low speed to maybe use in reverse speed ruleset. Now that I finally have enough copies for level 4 I levelled him up as he gets the Affliction ability at this level.

Woooow 5 GOLD FOIL Drybone Barbarian sweeeet!! I've had him in Gold Foil twice already but never enough copies to get to level 5. Now I do have enough copies for level 5 so time to level him up and get that Retaliate ability on the Gold Foil version!

These chests with Epic were kinda nice just a bit too bad that still the Clockwork Epic does not want to show up x/

But at least with there being Legendaries there was a chance for them to be Gold Foil. Which didn't happen but still there were chances.

Sweet Gold Foil Merdaali Guardian! I thought I already had one but when I went to check afterwards I didn't have this card in Gold Foil yet so yeah that was a really great Gold Foil pull then!!

Ahoy! There has definitely not been much time between the last Gladius Cases opening and this one. With the last video I'm 1 Quora away from getting her to level 3 to get that crazy Immunity skill on her so yeah I was quite eager to open some more Gladius Cases already. I even opened a few, I believe like 3, between the last video and this one when I gained like 6k merits from the Brawl in between. Unfortunately no Quora in them xP

Also opening some shortly before the Brawl would start is also quite benecifial just in case I find another Gold Foil Gladiator in there that I would then be able to use in the Brawl. So I recorded this video on Sunday before the Brawl started, but I didn't actually get to uploading the video and writing the post for it yet until now.

I was going to open 10 Gladius Cases this time instead of 20. But then when I bought 10 Gladius Cases I was like hmm actually you know what it'd be nicer to open 11 then because that'll be the same number twice looks cooler than opening 10. And so here we are with 11 Gladius Cases to open up.

Alright let's get to it!

Starting of with a rare Palidon Rakk and oooh there is an Epic there! Hoping for Quora! I will open it in the end like usual. Up next are 3 rare Ajex Lightfoot followed by some Commons to finish of the row with 3 Chimney Wallstop and 2 Whistling Damon.

In the next row I start with a Relenor Cleaver followed by 2 Alfredo. Then I find 3 Krash Wanderford and a Liza Fox. Oooooohhh a legendary awesome!!!!! I will reveal that one in the end.

Moving on the to the next row I find 6 copies of Isgald Vorst, then it goes up with 7 copies of Bertrol Gobson. Now the amounts go down as I find 3 Witch of Warwick, 5 Helmet Kharafax and 3 Katrelba Gobson.

Now onto the final row which is also a row of 5 cards that's pretty neat no cut off this time.

I start that row with 6 Alva the Crusher. Then 3 Kotriphus Bayne, 1 Cutter Brieze, 1 Captain Katie and finishing off the row with 2 Sarius. Well a lot of Rares in this row it seems.

But no Gold Foil cards for any of these Common and Rare ones :( I guess we would've wanted an additional row then so that there could be at least 1 or more Gold Foils for any of those Common and Rare Gladiators.

Well time to check out that Epic now.

And it is... Gorth! Aww kinda too bad that it isn't Quora but well the odds are 1/5 whenever you get an Epic so yeah hopefully next time more luck for a Quora!

Now let's check out that Legendary. Will it be one of those that I was 1 away from getting to level 2 and be able to level it up or one of those that still needs 2 copies?

And it is... FINA VOXOM 😍🤩 That's one of those that I was 1 away from levelling up sweeeeeeet!!

Time to go to my Gladiators and see if some others can level up too.

It looks like I have enough copies of Krash Wanderford and Hugo Strongsword to get them to level 5. Wow Hugo Strongsword getting a Heal ability at level 5 that's quite epic especially in games where Magic Monsters aren't allowed since he also has the Shield ability.

I hit the combine all button to combine all of my Gladiators and get them levelled up. Now it's time to check out that Fina Voxom who is at level 2.

At level 1 she has these stats:

Time to upgrade her to level 2 now where she has these stats:

She's getting an extra Melee attack AND also the Piercing ability. Really looking forward to use her with that Piercing ability 🤩 That could really help her to kill an opponent if they she has enough damage to pierce through the Armor and kill them.

Ahoy fellow Splinterlands players. This past June 15th the latest season in Splinterlands ended. I did record my opening shortly after the season ended but then I didn't have much time yet to make sure the video was correct, make a thumbnail and start writing the post. So here we are a few days later with the video and the post about my Season Ending rewards and some Chaos Legion Packs.

Last video I mentioned I didn't battle in Wild at all for Ranked, only for Tournaments and Brawls. I wanted to see if I'd just stay the same rating indeed and well after this season concluded I can now say that yeah my rating for Wild still stayed the same now.

So just like previous season I have played all my Ranked battles in the Modern format this season. This has been in the Gold league throughout the whole season and then a few hours before the season I advanced to Diamond 3. I've been around the rating to move up a lot, sometimes I did drop back down though if I had a few losses in a row.

This time I managed to get 54 Diamond End of Season Loot Chests! A few more than last season but then again this season did also last a day or two longer.

Now it's time to go open those Diamond Loot Chests

Wow damn one of the SPS chests I opened actually contained 300 SPS in it!! Shortly after that a chest with around 60 SPS in it! That really added up. Was a pretty good and unexpected SPS drop for sure! One sad thing about this SPS is that the smaller chests made it add up to 421.2 instead of making it be 420 SPS FOR THE MEMES!!! 😅😂😂 Apart from joking about that I'm definitely glad about that SPS drop for sure!

The merits are quite okay, not enough for a Gladius Case though. No Chaos Legion Pack this time. The potions have quite different numbers but the total of them is around the same as last season.

Let's look at the cards now.

I still haven't received that Neutral Epic Clock card though!! Really hoping to get that one soon, whenever I get an Epic it's always a different one.

I was at the last row of chests and still didn't see a single card turn out Gold Foil unfortunately. Until the final chest where I opened another Coastal Sentry, saw 4 copies in the top right corner and then it turned GOLD FOIL! 😄

Sweet now I have enough copies to get my Gold Foil Coastal Sentry further levelled up to level 5!! 😍🤩🤩

Ahoy my fellow Splinterlands players. In this video I will be opening up some more Gladius Cases! It'll be 20 just like the last time. Now there isn't as much time between videos where I open them as the last time as I posted the last one two weeks ago.

I must say I did open a few packs in between then and now, but just like 4 or so.

Now before the next brawl starts I decided to open 20 more and see if I could maybe get more Gold Foil Gladiators to possibly use in the brawl.

Let's start opening them!

Starting off the first row with 4 rare Cutter Brieze. Well then it turns out the rest of that row is only common cards as I find 7 Krash Wanderford, 6 Alva the Crusher, 5 Isgald Vorst and 6 Helmet Kharafax in the rest of the row.

Moving on to row 2 I turn over Isgald Vorst. Wait I just got 5 copies of Isgald Vorst before. That means this is a GOLD FOIL Isgald Vorst!! And yes there it is that glimmering gold!

Now in row 2 I find 5 rare Palidon Rakk and 2 rare Alfredo. Oh wow there is an Epic here sweet! I'll reveal that one later. Finishing off the 2nd row by finding 7 Chimney Wallstop.

Onto row 3, I start off this row by revealing 10 common Bertrol Gobson. Then the rest of this row looks like it's a reversal of the first row. Because the first row was 1 Rare and 4 Common. Now it's 1 Common and 4 Rare cards in this row. Those Rare cards being 4 Sarius, 1 Liza Fox, 3 Relenor Cleaver and 2 Kothriphus Bayne.

In row 4 I start of with 9 Whistling Damon. Then I reveal Hugo Strongsword and oooohh he turns out to be a GOLD FOIL Hugo Strongsword. Awesome!! That's a new Gold Foil Gladiator for me and the 2nd one that I own in the Life Element. Always great to get one I don't have yet.

The rest of that row has 4 common Katrelba Gobson, 3 rare Orella Abadon and 3 rare Captain Katie!

Now onto the final row with 3 cards left to reveal. The first one is 3 copies of the rare Ajax Lightfoot. Then 5 common Witch of Warwick and the last to reveal is Hugo Strongsword, this time the regular foil and I get 8 copies of that one.

After revealing all of them I now check which Epic Gladiator I got. You can find out in the video or maybe you already noticed on the thumbnail ;)

This is like my 3rd Gold Foil Isgald Vorst, really amazing card! I already have the Gold Foil at level 4 so I'm now 2 copies away from getting her to level 5.

Time to go to my Gladiators and hit that combine all button when I'm filtered on only the Gladiators.

I'm so close to having Quora Towershead at level 3 for that sweet Immunity ability on her! Just 1 more copy I can't wait till I get that copy! Still hoping for a Gold Foil Quora too.

This time no Legendary in the cases. It would've been cool if I would've found a Fina Voxom, Jini Guise or Larissa Kerato in there because those 3 are just 1 copy away from level 2. For Flagulon Reine, Sola Ranjell and Tatiana Blayde I'm still 2 copies away to get them to level 2.

Ahoy fellow Splinterlands players. This 29th of May the latest Season in Splinterlands has ended. I did record my video that day but I still had to make the thumbnail, upload the post and write this text and since I was a bit busy yesterday I didn't get to it yet.

But here we are with my post claiming my Season Loot Chests and opening some Chaos Legion Packs!

This time I did things a bit differently and I didn't actually play ranked in Wild at all. My only battles in Wild mode were for the Wild Tournaments I joined in, my Brawl battles and maybe a Challenge here and there. Since I'm usually not on a LB place for Silver there I figured I'll see what happens if I focus more on Gold in Modern to get these chests. Also to see if I would stay at that rating or not.

So yeah all my Ranked battles have been taking place in the Modern format in Gold League. At the end of the season when I finished battling I then moved on to Diamond 3 in order to get Diamond End of Season loot chests next season.

I managed to get to 50 Diamond End of Season loot chests! In the last few hours of the season I battled a bit more and I grinded from 48 to 50 End of Season chests.

Now it's time to go open those Diamond Loot Chests

I did get more potions for both types now. The same amount of Chaos Legion Packs. Maybe a few more chests contained cards this time!

I mentioned in the video that maybe I can get Gold Foil Drybone Barbarian to level 5 so that the Gold Foil gets the Retaliate ability too. Unfortunately that's not the case as I now have 3 copies of it. I've only gotten it Gold Foil once before these EoS chests and that was 1 copy. Still missing 2 more of those Gold Foils now to get it level 5.

Thanks to those 2 Gold Foil Swamp Spitter drops I do have enough to make the Gold Foil Swamp Spitter into level 5! Which I have done after recording the video.

Vruz with Martyr ability Season delegationI'm trying to see if people are interested in having Vruz with the Martyr ability available so I started a seasonal delegation giveaway for a level 5 Vruz with the Martyr ability.

To use it at that level you need a Dragon Summoner, or Lux Vega. Dragon Summoners need to be Rare level 4, Epic level 3 or Legendary level 2 in order to play Vruz at level 5.

Ahoy fellow Splinterlands players! Phew it's been a while since I opened a lot of Gladius Cases at once again. I did occassionally open some Gladius Cases in between my last post about it and now, but not a whole lot.

So in this video I'll be opening a bunch of them! Even more than last video as I will be opening 20 Gladius Cases here!

I already recorded the video the other day but still had to make the thumbnail and upload it so I'm a bit late on that.

Anyway let's get to it and see what's in there.

Already hovering over an Epic Card when I had my mouse towards the top right to make sure the little sound button was on, that's quite the start.

I keep those for later so I go to the start of the row and I flip over a GOLD FOIL Alva the Crusher. That's quite the start!! I play in Gold Foil Frays during the Brawl so this is really nice as I didn't have this Gladiator in Gold Foil yet.

Then further in the first row I find a lot of Rare Gladiators. 5 Relenor Cleaver, 4 Palidon Rakk and then one copy of Cutter Brieze. The last card in this row is that Epic card which I will reveal later on.

In the second row I start off with 9 copies of Chimney Wallstop. Oh look another Epic card in this row, awesome. Wow right after that one is a Legendary card! Sweeet! I will reveal these at the end.

The last two cards in the second row are 3 copies of Ajex Lightfoot and 5 Helmet Kharafx.

Now onto the third row here I find some Common Cards being 3 Whistling Damon, 9 Isgald Vorst and 6 Witch of Warwick. Then I find some Rare cards to finish off the row with 5 Orella Abadon and 2 Sarius.

This Isgald Vorst is really awesome too!

In the fourth row I find a lot more Common Cards with 6 Bertrol Gobson and 7 Katrelba Gobson. Then 7 copies of the Alva the Crusher in regular foil since the earlier one was Gold Foil. After that I find 5 Krash Wanderford and another Epic! Which I'll reveal in the end.

The final row starts of with 5 Kotriphus Bayne. Followed by another Epic!! Then I have 7 Hugo Strongsword, 1 Captain Katie and 2 Liza Fox.

Well that's a bit unfortunate with the 1 copy of Captain Katie, she can be really strong especially with an early Bloodlust. So it'd be great to level her up higher.

Time for those Epic Gladiators now. Starting off with 2 Edith Emberstar. Oh sweet that's 2 Epic cards actually instead of 1 so even better. Of course Quora Towershead would be even more awesome.

I continue to reveal the next Epic and look at that it's actually Quora Towershead. And also 2 copies let's gooooo!!! Those copies will definitely help to get her to level 3 so that she eventually gains Immunity. I would love to get a Gold Foil Quora too because she can be so strong! Also I already have all the Gold Foil Common and Rare Gladiators from Earth, so it would be great to get the Epic one in Gold Foil now. Unfortunately she didn't turn out Gold Foil. There are still 2 chances though.

The next Epic is Gorth and then the final Epic turns out to be Marisol Contuma. Too bad none of the Epic Gladiators turned out to be Gold Foil. But at least I still ended up with 6 Epic cards in total!

Now I won't spoil in this text which Legendary Gladiator I got. You can find out about that in the video. But the Gladiator is also in the thumbnail so you may already know ;)

Ahoy fellow Splinterlands players. Yesterday the latest season in Splinterlands ended on May 15th. I recorded the opening of my End of Season chests yesterday but uploading the video today.

Most of my battles were once again in the Modern format where I battled in Gold League throughout the whole season. Near the end of the season I then advanced to Diamond 3 so I get Diamond End of Season loot chests in the next season.

In the Wild format I got my rating up to the point in Silver 1 where I could advance to Gold 3 but didn't really battle much there past that. So I didn't get anywhere near close enough for a leaderboard placement.

Maybe playing a bit less in Wild has helped me to get to 47 Diamond End of Season loot chests this time! That's 4 more chests than I had in the previous 2 season endings.

In the video you can see I had a bit of battling before the season ended to work away a bit of my energy, still keeping it around 30 though. I might consider getting it a bit lower next time and see if I can get an additional chest.

Now it's time to go open those Diamond Loot Chests

Yay nice 3 of the cards turned out to be gold foil and all multiple copies of those too. It's the first time I'm getting that Swamp Spitter in Gold Foil so looking forward to use it. I got Imperial Knight in Gold Foil a few days ago from the daily chests and I think with these copies I can get that Gold Foil to level 5 now.

Awesome a legendary too!! I had Skok Duskblight already but still at level 1 so now I'll be able to go and upgrade him to level 2 and find out what extra ability he gets!

I was hoping I could now get Helios Matriarch to level 3 for silver league with this drop. But nope turns out I'm 1 short of upgrading to level 3 😅

Time to open 10 Chaos Legion Packs like I usually do after claiming my End of Season rewards. From those 10 packs I get the following cards, leaving out the Common Cards (except for Gold Foil).

Ahoy, athunderstruck here. I've had some other videos where I upgraded several cards to their max level for Silver league, some like Tarsa even higher than that already. Now it's time to make some upgrades to General Sloan and several Monsters from the Life element in Chaos Legion.

First I start with my Gold Foil Gargoya Scrapper. I'm keeping this card at 2 speed for now to use as cannon fodder in low mana battles with Reverse Speed ruleset. However I do decide to upgrade it from level 3 to level 4. Its stats stay the same when I upgrade it, but I choose to do this upgrade because I play in Gold league in the Modern format and I do get a penalty for playing this card when it's only at level 3. Still a level 4 too but at least it's less of a penalty.

Then I'm upgrading my Sunkai Harvest to level 5 so that this card is at the max level for Silver league and won't have a penalty to the battle rewards when I play it in Gold league. I'm keeping the Gold Foil at level 4 to use in those tournaments and brawls.

For the Stitch Leech I got enough copies of the Gold Foil one to get that one to level 5.

My Blinding Reflector was already at level 5 for the regular foil and then for the Chaos Knight I already have a Gold Foil copy at level 5 so no upgrades to those for now.

Celestial Harpy is up next for cards that I'll upgrade. I could decide to keep it at level 3 so it has 2 speed still for a reverse speed ruleset. But I think level 4 with 3 speed is a better middleground for her. Even at 3 speed she still has the Flying-ability to help maybe dodge some attacks if I happen to play her in the Reverse Speed ruleset.

My Time Mage is already level 5, higher than what I can play with my Summoner currently. I think one time I accidentally bought too much bcx of the card and just got it to level 5 then already.

I'm upgrading my Portal Spinner to level 4, it gets an extra Ranged attack going from level 3 to 4 so that's a good upgrade.

Pelacor Arbalest I'm just keeping at level 3 now, I think I'd rather just level him further up once I can play him at least at level 5 so that he gets that Flying ability.

I decide to then go to my Soulbound Reward cards for the Life element. As you can see my Imperial Knight is already at level 6 as I already upgraded that. It's higher than I can play it right now.

The most important part here is upgrading my Drybone Barbarian. I've faced it at few times at level 5+ where it has the Retaliate ability and damn that can be devastating when he's Enraged and then Retaliates! I could've already levelled mine but decided to hold out until making this video. I levelled him straight to level 6 now.

General Sloan is now level 4 so even if the Gold Foil one that I often rent for Brawls etc is expired I'll at least still be able to play her at level 4 now that my own copy is level 4.

When it comes down to the Epic cards there isn't much to upgrade. I think I wanna keep them at level 2 for now until I can get them to level 4 and well Temporal Master and Dax Paragon were already level 2. It's just Prismologist who I still had to upgrade. I also often have her rented for Brawls etc but the rentals often expire so it's good to have my own copy at level 2.

So yeah as I mentioned before I often rent some of these cards too to play them in Brawls etc and then they often expire. Sometimes I don't rent them for long. But most of the time when I do rent them for long they end up getting cancelled anyway because of price updates :/ It then really sucks when they've expired and I just wanted to play Uriel and/or Adelade in a battle but find those level 2s missing.

Now it is time to get my own copies levelled up! So that even if they expire I can still play Adelade Brightwing at level 2 where she gets the Resurrect ability and Uriel the Purifier at level 2 where he gets the Heal ability!

Ahoy fellow Splinterlands players! Today on April 30th the latest season in Splinterlands has ended. I claimed my rewards not too long after the season ended, about an hour or so afterwards.

Just like the previous season I played the majority of my battles in the Modern league and this was in Gold league during the whole season. Near the end of the season I've reached the rating to advance to Diamond several times, but didn't yet until the season was close to an end.

In the hours before the season ended I tried to get my loot chests up a bit where I had some wins and some losses. After another set of 3 losses I then had 3 wins and got the rating again to advance to Diamond 3. That's when I decided I'll advance and grind for the last chest by playing in Wild.

At that point I was like 30-40k Focus Points away from reacing 43 Diamond End of Season Loot Chests and I figured I might as well. So I switched to Wild and started battling a bit more there and got to 43 Diamond Chests.

Which is the same number as chests as I had in the previous season ending.

Now it's time to go open those Diamond Loot Chests

Now I'm just missing the Neutral one when it comes to these Soulbound Epic cards.

BUT WOOOOOW THOSE 6 GOLD FOIL OCTAVIA SHADOWMELD were definitely a chest reveal that I was REALLY EXCITED about!!!

I got her in Gold Foil one time before and that was just one copy, so with these drops I should be able to at least get her to level 4 Gold Foil! That's great for the brawls too since I'm playing in the Gold Foil Silver Fray and level 4 is max for Silver league.

Time to open 10 Chaos Legion Packs like I usually do after claiming my End of Season rewards. From those 10 packs I get the following cards, leaving out the Common Cards (except for Gold Foil).

What I did want to see was at least one Gold Foil card in these 10 packs, but unfortunately that didn't happen :( Hopefully next time there are some!

Ahoy, on the 15th of April the latest season in Splinterlands ended. I claimed my rewards and recorded my video that day when I was back home, but later in the day was away from home again. A bit busy as well the days after so I didn't get to make some edits yet and make the thumbnail with some of the rewards I got. Especially not to write the post.

But now I have the post ready so here it is!

This season I played a lot in Modern Gold but also quite a bit in Wild Silver. In the last day I was around 50th place on the Silver Leaderboards for Wild, but I didn't play much there since then so I didn't manage to climb up to a spot with rewards.

I battled a bit before I was going out for a while, which was also before the season ended. I got to 43 Diamond Loot Chests then, not as many as in the previous seasons. Probably partially due to not getting as many wins maybe? Although I didn't really check how many wins I had in the previous season so hard to know for sure. I did also play a decent amount in Wild, this might be related to it as I get less Focus Points there.

On the final day I advanced back to Diamond after I finished my battling before the season ending to get Diamond End of Season Loot Chests in the next season too.

Now it's time to go open those Diamond Loot Chests

No legendaries this time for the Chaos Legion Packs.

I did have a bit of luck with the Gold Foils this time. A total of 4 Gold Foil cards with 3 being Common and then one of them being a Rare card so that's quite nice. Gold Foil Tenyii Striker for the Rare card was also quite nice as it was the first time getting this card Gold Foil.

I found it quite funny how 3 of the 4 Gold Foil Cards happened to be for the Fire element xP

Ahoy, this 31st of March the latest season in Splinterlands finished. I recorded my video claiming the End of Season rewards on that day, but didn't upload the video until now. A bit of a busy weekend going to the fair in my city and hanging out with some friends online as well. So yeah a bit of a delay on posting the video but here it is!

Last season I also advanced to Diamond to get Diamond End of Loot Chests this season too. It seemed quite good to have those so this season I once again moved onto Diamond 3 in Modern to have Diamond Loot Chests at the end of the next season that started. I did this a few hours before the season ended after grinding a bit more for some more End of Season loot chests. I managed to reach 50 Diamond End of Season loot chests this time! With one extra battle victory to also get my next chest for the Daily Focus.

In wild I remained in Silver but didn't really battle enough to get close enough to earning a Leaderboard placement. I guess if I did try to do that I would've gotten less Diamond Loot End of Season loot chests too because I get less focus points battling in silver.

Now it's time to go open those Diamond Loot Chests

What's more unfortunate is that I didn't get any Chaos Legion Packs in these past two season endings. Oh well at least sometimes it shows up in the daily focus!

Wow nice 5 copies of the Terraceous Grunt in Gold Foil that is exactly enough to get it to level 5 for the highest level playable in Silver! Also a Gold Foil Fungus Flinger, just the one copy though. This does mean that now I can't keep my Fungus Flinger at level 1 anymore to have it die faster and give its Martyr buff to adjacent Monsters quickly. But with such drawback also comes an opportunity for me, as I play in Gold Foil Frays in the Brawls it means that I can now bring this one into my Brawl battles sometimes!

A good amount of the Lobb Lowland and Franz Ruffmane, now I have enough copies to get both of these summoners to level 3!

One Epic in the rewards, it's Iidri Fyre so that's quite nice as I didn't have this one yet. Will be nice to have a taunt available in some of the fights.

Unfortunately there were no other Epics or Legendaries in these rewards =( Maybe in the next season ending I'll have more luck with those!

One funny thing though is that with that daily focus I still had going on, when I claimed it at night I actually found a legendary in there. Here is a screenshot of those daily focus rewards:

So yeah 2 Kulu Mastermind from one of the chests in my daily focus! That was really great to get as I had no Legendaries in the End of Season chests. This is also the first time I received the Kulu Mastermind so I'm looking forward to use it in battle! 😄 Which I already did at the time of writing.

Ahoy, in this video I will be making some upgrades to my cards from the Chaos Legion core deck. In previous videos with pack openings when I got Tarsa I mentioned how I now have enough copies to make her level 5. I also got enough Conqueror Jacek to get him to level 2 which will max him out for Silver League.

I will be explaining why I'm upgrading some of the cards and also explaining why I'm currently not upgrading some of the other cards.

Starting off with the Common cards with Radiated Scorcher I'm not levelling it up. At the next level it gets an extra speed, but I kinda prefer using it in reverse speed rulesets currently so for now I'll just keep it at this level.

Lava Spider is sitting nicely at level 4 where it has gained that extra ranged attack. The next level it will get an extra health, which can be nice for survivabilty but I don't really need it right now so no level up here.

I currently have Radiated Brute at level 4 where it gets an extra Melee attack compared to level 3. For now I'm keeping it at level 4 because at level 5 it gets an extra speed and I'd rather keep this as a Reach card for reverse speed ruleset for now. Later on when I'm getting the cards up to a higher level for Gold league I will definitely level this further up though so that it gets the Enrage ability. I should maybe get another Gold Foil so I can make the Gold Foil into level 4 for those Gold Foil tournaments and brawls.

Scavo Chemist I'm upgrading the Gold Foil to level 4 to get an extra speed, helping it dodge attacks to survive and use its Cleanse. At level 5 it gets an extra health, which is also nice for survivability. But if I play it with Tarsa then it already gains a health too for surviving an extra turn of Poison, so it's not that important right now.

Antoid Platoon is also Gold Foil and was already at level 4. Looking pretty nice with the extra Melee attack it gains at that level. It does lose 1 Armor there which it gains back at level 5 but I'm currently happy with it at level 4 until I upgrade it for Gold League levels.

On to the Rares now. Here I'll have much way more upgrades happening. Scavo Firebolt gets an extra Ranged attack at level 4. It might be quite useful in lower mana battles and in the Little League ruleset. So getting that extra attack can be really useful. Making the upgrade from level straight to level 4.

Now one card that I have definitely been holding off on levelling for waaaay too long is the Tenyii Striker. At level 4 it gets the Dodge ability that allows him to dodge Melee and Ranged attacks. When playing multiple Sneak monsters he can be a good backline protection for the other Sneak monsters while also having Sneak. Of course it heavily relies on RNG for him to actually evade some attacks which can be annoying, but it's great to have this ability on him so that he has that chance to evade attacks. Glad to have him levelled up now.

Djinn Apprentice up next. Magic isn't really that great with Fire Summoners right now, but you know with new rulesets of only Magic Attackers sometimes there really aren't many options. So it seems great to get this card up to level 4 where he gets an extra Magic attack at the cost of one health though compared to level 3.

Molten Ash Golem is the one Rare card that I'm not levelling up. At level 4 it gets an extra speed, but I prefer using this one in reverse speed ruleset right now so the extra speed isn't good. That's why I'm choosing to keep it at level 3 where it did already get an extra Ranged attack.

TARSA up next! Perhaps I should've started the video with levelling her, but I kinda wanted to go in order of rarity. So here we have arrived at Tarsa, I'm selecting all the cards and then deselecting a few until I have the right amount selected to get Tarsa to level 5.

Now for one of the most important cards to level up, the FORGOTTEN ONE!! This card at level 3 can be such a beeaaassst with the Retaliate ability. I have really been holding off on upgrading him for way too long. Sometimes I lose an opponent because of their Forgotten One having Retaliate and I'm like damn I gotta level him up!! Now is finally the time!! Here is an image of him at level 3 with the Retaliate ability:

Tusk the Wide is up next. He can be a great tank when expecting a lot of Magic attackers because of his Void ability. At level 3 he becomes a bit more important as he gains an extra Melee attack and that will help him deal just a bit more damage. At level 4 for Gold League he gets the Inspire ability to give +1 Melee Attack to all Melee attackers in the team. So maybe it would be good to level him up further now that my Tarsa is level 5, but for the video I'm maxing him for Silver currently.

Djinn Inferni now, just like the Djinn Apprentice it might be good to have this card levelled for rulesets without Melee attackers or with only Magic attackers allowed. This card has even more utility though as it has Giant Killer which makes it deal double damage to Monsters costing 10+ Mana. At level 3 he goes from 3 Magic Attack to 4 Magic Attack. And if he hits a Monster with 10+ Mana that goes from 6 damage to 8 damage. So definitely a worthy upgrade!

That's it for the Epic cards.

Now I'm upgrading Ifrit Rising too. Not really an amazing Legendary and I'm not a huge fan of the Recharge ability. But it can serve its purpose for sure. Especially on a Magic attacker as long as it doesn't get blocked by Void Armor or the Void ability. Just like the Djinn's, it can be nice to have him upgraded for games with only Magic or perhaps games where Monsters lose all abilities. At level 2 his Magic Attack went from 2 to 3. With his Recharge ability this is a bigger difference. Recharge takes a turn to charge up and then the next turn it deals triple damage. So that triple damage just went from 6 to 9 damage with this level up.

No upgrades for Scorch Fiend, I'm just keeping it at level 1 for now as I don't see much use upgrading it until it could be Diamond level with Demoralize.

Grum Flameblade is already at level 2 for a loooong time so he's already been at max for Silver League.

CONQUEROR JACEK upgrade time!!! Getting this Legendary Summoner to level 2 let's goooooo!!! I'm not a huge fan of the Scattershot ability on him, because of the heavy RNG with that and most of the time Scattershot RNG is really terrible for me but sooo great for my opponents. Which doesn't really make me like it much. But he also provides all Monsters with +2 Speed and the Piercing ability to let them hit through armour. Those are some great stats! Especially upgrading him for those reasons to use him with Silver league level Monsters.
I do think Scattershot with him would be a lot of fun to use when the games has a Blast ruleset to it for some damage everywhere. Perhaps he's also great in games against Lily, but with the way Scattershot rng goes for me it might not work in my favour xD

Ahoy, this March 15th the latest Season in Splinterlands has ended. I recorded the video in the few hours after the season ended, but then I was a bit busy in the rest of the day and today I had class as well so I'm a bit slow with the upload!

In my last video with the season ending I explained that I moved into Diamond 3 by the end of the season and that means this season I would be getting Diamond End of Season Loot Chests. I had no idea how it was going to go and how many Loot Chests I could obtain for the End of the Season. That was something to find out throughout that season. I actually ended up with 47 Diamond Loot Chests.

Most of my battling took place in Modern where I played in Gold for the majority of the season, and also a decent amount of battles in Wild where I played in Silver. I didn't end up challenging for the Leaderboard, with most of my battles being in Modern I was actually like 500 points underneath the top leaderboard position so I figured I'll just battle some more in Modern for Gold daily chests and to contribute to my End of Season chests.

When the season was coming to an end and I finished my battles for some extra chests, I then moved on to Diamond 3 again like last season.

Now it's time to go open those Diamond Loot Chests

During the video you hear me talk when I get the Gold Foil Gobson Bomber about how most of the time when I get a Gold Foil Soulbound Reward Card revealed it's just 1 copy and that being my luck. Then near the end I flip over Firecaller, see the number 5 at the top but then I realize it's turnout into Gold Foil!! That was quite hilarious to happen not long after I said that 😂😂

2 chests with Epic drops in them, both being the Will-O-Wisp for a total of 3 copies. I found one chest with a Legendary in it. Unfortunately no extra copies, but still glad that I found at least 1 Legendary in these chests! 😄

Definitely more SPS than I ever got from Gold End of Season chests. Maybe one time I might have gotten just a bit more from those, but if it happened it was just once I believe.

Time to open 10 Chaos Legion Packs like I usually do after claiming my End of Season rewards. From those 10 packs I get the following cards, leaving out the Common Cards (except for Gold Foil).

Ahoy, now there is not so much time between the last Gladius Cases opening video and this one. In this video I am opening 10 Gladius Cases and using up those last 50 Blood Stones that I had.

I recorded the video last night before the brawls ended, as you can hear me say when I go to combine the Gladiators. I'm uploading today though, because there was an issue with the sound when I did a bit of editing. Today I converted the file to have a working audio track in the editing software.

Well let's get to these Gladiators now! Time to find out which ones I can get from these packs.

The first row starts off with mostly commons and just 1 rare as I reveal 3 Whistling Damon, followoed by 4 Isgald Vorst. Pretty awesome card that one! I used her in a few battles in a Gladiator tournament and when she gets going with that bloodlust it's craaazy!
Further in that row I get 2 Helmet Kharafax, then the rare Relenor Cleaver and the last ones in that row is 2 times Krash Wanderford.

Going into the second row, the first card is a Legendary! Just like before, in the last video, I will not reveal the legendary here in the text but will leave that for you to find out in the video.

From the other cards in the second row I find 4 Betrol Gobson and then 4 Witch of Warwick. After those I find 3 Palidon Rakk and 3 Orella Abadon. Quite awesome how I got 3 copies of both of those Rares there!

In the third row I start off with finding an Ajax Lighfoot who is then followed by 3 Alva the Crusher. Then there's 3 Sarius, another Rare Gladiator of which I find 3 copies in these packs!. Up next is an Epic Gladiator that I reveal later and the last card I find in that row is 4 times Chimney Wallstop.

The final row starts of with a Cutter Brieze and then 4 Huge Strongsword. Another Epic here to reveal after I reveal the final Common Card which turns out to be 4 Katrelba Gobson.

Well that's definitely not bad I found 12 Rare Gladiators in there, 2 Epic and a Legendary. With the Epic and Legendary still to reveal.

Unfortunately no Gold Foils though, that would've been great to find at least one Gold Foil in there but oh well hopefully the next time!

Of course there is still a chance though with the Epic and Legendary yet to be revealed.

One funny thing is that I got all 4 of the Common and Rare Earth Gladiators in here, would be really awesome if the Epic Quora and Legendary Jini showed up here.

It turns out that one of the Epic actually dropped with 2 copies, so in fact I actually got 3 Epic Gladiators in here instead of the initial 2 that I thought. The first Epic that I flip over is the one that I got 2 copies of and that is Gorth!

Then I go and flip over the other Epic, aaaand it's QUORA !! YES!! Unfortunately not Gold Foil, but this does allow me to level up Quora to level 2!

For the Legendary I won't spoil in this text.

After opening up all the Gladiator cards from these packs, I then head over to my items to combine all these Gladiator cards together.

I now have a level 2 Quora Towershead! Not much changes for the stats here, but still good to level her up. At level 3 she will gain Immunity, that's so crazy! Will still be a little while before I get her to this level, but definitely something to look forward to with her!

Ahoy everyone, today on February 28th the latest season in Splinterlands has ended. In this video I will be talking about my ranking, claiming my end of season loot chests and opening some Chaos Legion Packs.

This season I have tried to challenge for the silver leaderboards in the wild format again. Unfortunately I didn't make it into the top 25 in the last days. I had a few losses that set back my points by a lot. Some of my wins gave me a decent amount of points to go back up, but many of my wins were really low rating gains. So it was rough to climb back up there. I decided to play a few more matches in Modern then before the season ended to get to 64 loot chests.

In modern I moved on to Gold league sometime in the 2nd half of the season. This time I did things differently though, because the night before the season ended I moved on to Diamond 3 in the modern format! I always reach the rating to move up to diamond, but never do. I'm going to see how many diamond chests I can gain for end of season for the next season ending and compare the results. Then I can decide if that's a good move or if I should keep finishing the season in gold like before.

With this season ending I got 64 gold loot chests. Let's open them.

Awesome I managed to get a Legendary in one of my chests and got 2 copies of it! Two times Iziar. This is now my second Legendary from the soulbound reward cards.

It's a bit sad that I didn't really get any Gold Foil cards in them, except for one copy of Drybone Barbarian. Would've been nice if that one had more copies, but oh well hopefully some more luck with gold foil cards in the next season! Still happy that I found a Legendary in the chests.

Wow the SPS rewards I got are extremely low this time with only just over 3 SPS in total!

Also quite nice to get 2 Chaos Legion Packs.

Speaking of those, it's time to open up some Chaos Legion Packs like I usually do.

I accidentally dragged one Chaos Legion pack and opened it up. That one contained a Scavo Hireling, a GOLD FOIL Supply Runner and then 3 rare cards being Diemonshark, Merdaali Guardian and Kelya Frendul. Awesome gold foil there and funny to see all 3 rares being from the Water Splinter.

Now I could've opened 9 more because I had just opened one, but I decide to still open 10 together.

Ahoy, in this video I am opening up some Gladius Cases again. This time I'm opening 10.

It's been a little while since I last opened any as my last video with opening these was last month. I still had 100 of the Blood Stones left, enough to open 20 packs. After this opening that means I still have enough left to use with 10 more Gladius Cases. Which will be for another time.

Alright time to start opening up these Gladiator Cases.

Starting off with

It's been fun trying to use some of these Gladiators in some lower league tournaments. Because I usually play Gold Foil Frays in the Brawls I'm quite limited with the Gladiators that I can use. So those tournaments have been fun for sure. With some really crazy results if a bloodlust was triggered multiple times!

Ahoy! The latest season in Splinterlands just ended today on February 14th. This is the first season ending since the new soulbound reward cards have been added, so definitely exciting times to claim these End of Season rewards!

I played in Silver in Wild for more than half of this season, sometimes a bit of battling in the Modern format as well. I was in a good place in the Wild Silver Leaderboards at some point and thinking about going for Gold in Modern then while trying to maintain a Leaderboard spot in Wild. However one day I ended up getting 2 losses in one day. One was just a really bad line-up on my end. I was getting 0-3 rating per win so it was difficult to grind back up. I figured I'll just go for Gold again in Wild then since I didn't wanna do too much battling in Silver after I'd move to Gold in either format.

I then played a few days in the Gold league and had some loot chests for a few of those days. I didn't get a whole lot from those chests. In fact this past night before season ending I had 9 gold daily chests and only 1 of them was cards. This is mentioned in the video too of course.

Before the season ended today I was battling a bit more and managed to grind up from 60 to 62 Gold End of Season loot chests. With that I also got my daily to 9 Gold chests to claim tonight.

Sweet I got the Water and Dragon Summoners in here, those and the Earth one are the ones I didn't get yet through daily chests. Even exactly enough of the Rare one to get her to level 2.

Unfortunately just 1 Epic Card and not even any Legendary. Also no Gold Foil cards in here either so that's also tough luck.

I'm hopefuly though for my 9 chests from the daily focus tonight and I'll just be hoping that I get better luck with the next season ending!

I did get a quite big SPS drop, the drop alone was already over double of the total SPS in my last season's ending chests.

Just like in the past videos with season endings I'll be opening 10 Chaos Legion Packs.

The first one I reveal is CONQUEROR JACEK, AWESOME! I had received 2 of Conqueror Jacek from the airdrop I think, or maybe it was 1 and then 1 more from a pack. In either case I was at 2 Conqueror Jacek and was missing 1 to get him to level 2 for Siler League. Now I am able to do that!
The second legendary is Iza the Fanged. I believe that I now have enough of her to get her to level 3 for Gold League. I'd just also have to level up my Summoner then to use her. That's exciting!

I'll try to make a video soon where I level up the Conqueror Jacek and make some additional improvements to my Fire Chaos Legion deck. I already have Tarsa at level 4, the max level for silver, but some of the Monsters could also use improvements.

Ahoy! Yesterday on January 31st the latest season in Splinterlands has ended. I claimed my rewards yesterday within the hour after season ending, but posting the video today.

Until a few days before the season ended I was playing in Silver in the Wild format. When there were a few days left I was about 300 rating below the top 5 and at that point I was like rank 40-50 something. I decided I'll just move on to Gold league in Wild and not attempt to continue challenging for the leaderboards.

That's how I ended the season in Gold 1 in Wild again just like last season. In the Modern format I battled until I was somewhere in Silver 2 but didn't continue battling much there since most of my battles were in the Wild format.

The last day of the season I was trying to get my End of Season loot chests to 60. At one point I was just between 3k-4k focus points away from reaching the 60th loot chest. I decided to try one battle in Modern to get those last focus points, because my focus points gain in Wild would be around 20-27k or so. That felt like a bit of a waste so I just tried to see if I could get to the 60th loot chest with a Modern battle. I played one, won it and got just over 3700 focus points which was enough to get that next end of season loot chest!

Maybe it would've been good to actually do that in Wild though just so I would also gain more progress for another chest from my daily focus, but I wasn't sure if I'd do more battles after the end of season. That's why I chose to do it in Modern.

Aww it's really unfortunate that I didn't get an Epic or a Legendary from any of these end of season loot chests. With those reward cards going out of print after this season ending I was really hoping to find some final epic and legendary cards in my End of Season loot chests. Unfortunately it did not happen. At least I got one Jared Scar from my daily chests a few days prior, but was still really hoping for one in these chests.

When it comes to the SPS and Merits I got more than last season. I got less potions this time, especially for Alchemy as I only got 8 of them this time. I did get 2 Chaos Legion Packs from these End of Season loot chests, that is definitely great to receive! 😄

Just like in the past videos with season endings I'll be opening 10 Chaos Legion Packs.

This was still a pretty awesome pack opening session! I got 2 Gold Foil Common cards in here. On top of that I got 11 Rare Cards and 5 Epic Cards! So yeah no Legendary but still a pretty good pack opening session!

Especially the Forgotten One, now I need one less to level him up. I think with this Tarsa that I got from the packs I can now level her up to level 5. With some of those rares I increased the level of the cards I have. I now had enough Pelacor Arbalest to make it level 3 and enough Cursed Windeku to make it level 4.

Ahoy! It was a busy week so I'm quite late with uploading my video! I did record the video claiming my season end rewards on Monday the 16th of January when the season ended. I just didn't have enough time to cut a few parts of the video, make the thumbnail and writing the post. But here I am now with my post!

This season I went to Gold in the Wild format. I didn't battle much in the Modern format so I was still like Silver 2 there when there were a few days left in the season. At that point in the Modern format I was quite behind on the top 25-30 in the leaderboards and decided that this time I won't try to challenge for a place on them and just moved on to Gold to battle there for the rest of the season.

During this season I managed to score 62 end of season loot chests, they're gold chests as my highest rank in the previous season was Gold.

It's quite funny how I revealed the Gold Foil Portal Spinner and then right after that I open up 2 regular foil Portal Spinner.

11 Rare cards and then 2 Epic and a Legendary seems pretty awesome for 10 packs. Always great to find some Epic cards and a Legendary in these pack openings!

Queen Mycelia is a legendary that I do already have at level 2, so the one I got from this one will be my first one that I can use later on to work on upgrading her to level 3.

Ahoy, it is time to open up some Gladius Cases again! It's been quite a while since I have opened any Gladius Cases. That's also why I haven't posted any videos of opening them, since I just didn't open any.

I have 200 Blood Stones that increase the chance to get Legendaries from Gladius Cases, but currently no Power Stones. The Power Stones increase the chance to get Gold Foil Gladiator cards from the Gladius Cases. It does require higher level guild buildings to unlock those, so I don't have any yet.
That's why I didn't really wanna use my Blood Stones and would rather keep them until I have some Power Stones eventually. I looked in the settings but couldn't find any setting to disable using Blood Stones. I asked my guildmates and they didn't find an option either, thinking it's probably not possible. Which makes sense I guess cause in the guild store it does mention that Blood Stones are automatically used.

The main reason I didn't really wanna use them is that I don't wanna buy them with DEC. I would've rather seen the option to purchase them with DEC become an additional option. Have both Merits and DEC available to buy the Blood Stones, rather than the options to buy them with Merits being replaced. I hope that eventually both options will be possible.

The other day it was announced that the Splinterlands team can now make tournaments with Gladiator cards allowed. So I suspect in the future we might see a tournament with these allowed every now and then, like the tournaments with ghost cards.
That was an additional reason for me to open some Gladius Cases now to increase my collection, and for that it would be quite good to use the Blood Stones now anyway. I still need two of every Legendary Gladiator to level them up to level 2. And for the one from Earth I still need to get my very first one as that's the only Legendary Gladiator I don't have yet.

Time to open up these Gladius Cases.

Starting off really strong there seeing a Legendary Gladiator in the first row already! The second row has 2 Epic Gladiators!

Two Gold Foil Gladiators in these packs, that's not too bad. It's not really great either, but it could've been worse. So overall I am definitely happy to get 2 Gold Foil Gladiators. One of them is new and my first one for the Water Splinter. Definitely looking forward to try that one out!
Oohh one of the Epic Cards I turned over actually had 2 copies! So that makes it 3 Epic Cards in these.

The first Legendary that I open up is Jini Guise!! That is the Earth Legendary Gladiator and the ONLY Legendary Gladiator that I didn't have yet!! Now I have all of the Legendary Gladiators!! 😄 Here is a look at the card.

The second Legendary I reveal turns out to be 2 times Xulax Nightwind! That came as quite a surprise that I got two of the same legendary actually. Which is perfect as I'll be able to level this one to level 2 then!

At level 1 the card looks like this

And at level 2 he gets more Melee Attack and the Thorns ability so he looks like this.

The final legendary that I flip over is Larissa Kerato, the Legendary Gladiator for Dragon and the only Dragon element Gladiator that currently exists. She's pretty awesome! At level 1 her card looks like this

I think she definitely pairs well with Delwyn Dragonscale as a Summoner to increase the Magic Damage especially as she has Double Strike. But with her low health she is definitely vulnerable to Magic Reflect, Opportunity and Scattershot. I think she can be quite powerful, but definitely has to be protected well so she can try to trigger Bloodlust.

After I did the opening I go to my Gladiator Cards in my collection and hit the combine all button. Since they are soul bound I always do that to get them to their highest potential level with the cards that I have. Of course it might sometimes be better to keep one slightly lower level for a reverse speed ruleset. So that's everyone's own choice. I just like to get them all combined.

I'll definitely look forward to a potential tournament to try out some of these Gladiators in them.

Ahoy, today on December 30th the latest season in Splinterlands has ended. This is also the final season ending of this year because tomorrow it's New Year's Eve and then the new year will start.

Once again the majority of my battles have taken place in the Wild format. I got to Silver 1 here quite quickly, within the first days. That's where I stayed for the whole rest of the season too. As I decided to perhaps try challenging for Wild Silver Leaderboards this time.

Throughout the season I was often in the top 25 there in the Silver league, also regularly falling out of the top 25 but still being i nthe top 50. On this final day before the season ending I was doing some more battling, my rating stayed about the same which wasn't good because this afternoon I was not in the top 25. Then I had a win streak with 5 wins in a row, it started looking good again! Unfortunately after those I had 3 losses. With those losses I had to get quite a bit more rating again and there were only 20 minutes or so left. I figured it does not look good.

That's when I switched over to battle a bit more in Modern. The night before I had already gotten into Gold 3 in Modern, because I wanted to achieve Gold there for getting Gold End of Season loot chests in the next season. Since most of my battling took place in Wild, I was only in Gold 3 in Modern.

After switching over to battle a bit more in Modern before the season ended to try and get an additional loot chest I was able to get into Gold 2 from my wins. A few more wins on my win streak could've probably gotten me into Gold 1 there. There were only 5 minutes left at that point though when I got my next End of Season loot chest, so I stopped battling.

This way I did get quite a bit less End of Season loot chests than before, but I still got 58 Loot Chests.

The Legendary card is Legionnaire Alvar. I already own 2 of this card, but was still missing a 3rd one to level it up. I had one of those two up for rent. It expires in about 5 hours so then I will take it off the rental market and combine all 3 of them into a level 2 Legionnaire Alvar! :D At level 2 he gets the Giant Killer ability, so he can be pretty strong with that if the enemy has a 10+ Mana Monster that he gets to attack. Looking forward to upgrading that card.

Ahoy, yesterday on December 15th the latest season in Splinterlands ended. I recorded the video yesterday but have done a little bit of editing and made the thumbnail today. So I'm uploading the video and making the post now that I'm done with that.

The majority of my battles in this season have been in the Wild format. A lot of the battles were in Silver league and then with like 3 days left in the season I moved up to gold. This time I was able to stay in Gold 1 the whole time. Last season I dropped below the rating and dropped into Gold 2 a few times but this season I stayed above 2500 rating for my whole time in Gold 1.

I didn't battle much in the Modern format this season. I of course did get to Silver there to be able to enter Silver Modern tournaments. But apart from that I didn't battle much in Modern. Mostly if my daily focus still needed some points, like 6k for example, and a win in Wild would be too much then I'd get those points by playing in Modern.

On the day of the season ending I was away from home and quite busy. In the last hour I managed to get on with my phone and still do a few battles. I was like 10k points away from reaching 64 end of season loot chests. Unfortunately I had a loss and then a win and after that win there were 4 minutes left until the season ending so I couldn't queue up anymore.

So close to getting 64 End of Season loot chests, but it ended up being 63 loot chests like last season. They're gold loot chests as my highest achieved rank was Gold 1 during this previous season.

Now that I have my very first Adelade Brightwing I can finally play her more often. Of course I will need to get 2 more so I can level her up to level 2 so that she can get the Resurrect ability!

Ahoy, on the 30th of November the latest season in Splinterlands has ended. I've been a bit busy the past few days so I didn't get the proper time yet to sit down and write the post to go alongside the video. I did record the video on the day of the season ending itself!

This season I focused most of my battles in the Wild format again. When I was really close to another loot chest and heading off for the night I usually did a battle or two in Modern to get up to Silver 1 there eventually. I kept most of my battles in the Wild format though, where I started off in Silver 1 immediately because of reaching Gold 1 in Wild the previous season. This time I moved on to Gold when there were about 3 days left in the season

On the day of the season ending I battled some more in Gold 1 and I suppose a bit in Gold 2 as well because of some losses. My final rating was 2544 which is just 44 above the required for Gold 1, so it was really close. I mostly did some battling an hour before the season ended to try and get a few more End of Season loot chests and also for my Daily Focus.

This time I got to 63 End of Season chests. A bit less than last season, possibly due to moving into Gold later this season. Just 2 less so it's not a huge difference. They're gold loot chests as my highest achieved rank was Gold 1 during this previous season.

In my previous video I purchased some Water cards from Chaos Legion to level up. Including Kelya Frendull and Diemonshark. I got one of both those cards this time in the Chaos Legion Packs so those will be great for eventually levelling those cards to level 5 for Gold League.

This time I finally got some Gold Foil cards in the packs again! 2 Gold Foil Common being the Chaos Agent and Riftwing. It was funny how the Gold Foil Chaos Agent was right next to some regular foil Chaos Agents xD Also a Rare Gold Foil being the Angelic Mandarin!

I got 8 rare cards, 3 epic and 1 Legendary in these packs so that's still pretty good!! Especially with getting a Gold Foil Rare card. The legendary card Baakjira is now my 2nd time I got it from opening packs, which means I need to get just 1 more to upgrade it to level 2. It gets another health at level 2 and also the Strengthen ability which adds +1 health to all the monsters on my team. It'll be great to level it up to level 2 eventually so it becomes a stronger tank!

Ahoy! In this video I'm taking a look at levelling up some of my Chaos Legion cards in the Water splinter. It's time to get some of them levelled up to the upper levels of Silver league. Which will make my teams stronger for potentially fighting the leaderboards and also in tournaments.

(For the Thumbnail I used the art of the cards and the background I used is the background shown on the page when viewing Chaos Legion Water cards)

I already had Tarsa, Obsidian and Thaddius Brood at level 4, which is the highest level for Rare Summoners that you can bring into battle in the Silver league. Now it's time to get Kelya Frendul to level 4 as well! With levelling Kelya Frendul to level 4 I also take a look at which monsters might be most important to level up further right now.

My Kelya Frendul was still level 3, with several 1 bcx cards in my inventory. I take a look at those to count how many I need and then I head to the market to go and buy some. I was missing 5 bcx to level her up. For this I purchased 3 cards, because there was a card with 3 bcx for sale so I bought that one and then 2 more 1 bcx cards.

The credits I purchased to make these levels up have been purchased with the HBD that I got from some of my recent posts. It's a great way to buy some additional cards!

After I levelled Kelya Frendul up to level 4 it was time to look at the Diemonshark. This is a powerhouse monster to use with Kelya Frendul for sure! I've seen it used a lot, while I didn't use it that often. Mostly because mine was still level 3 and it's not until level 4 that it gets the Enrage ability. This Enrage ability can really help make him stronger and deal a lot of damage once it takes damage to its health. Getting it to level 4 now also allows me to use this card with the new Enrage ability in combination with Dragon summoners if I choose Water as my secondary element.

Then I take a look at River Hellondale. This is a Legendary Monster from Chaos Legion for water. He has the Resurrect ability, so the first Monster that dies will be brought back to life. At level 2 he also gets the Inspire ability, this gives +1 attack for all Melee attackers in the team. I think that's a great damage boost, especially when using Diemonshark, Flying Squid, Deeplurker, Uraeus and Pelacor Bandit.

Last but not least, let's take a look at improving the Deeplurker. This is the last card I was upgrading because I ran out of the credits that I purchased. The Gold Foil version of him would be a bit too expensive to level up with the credits I got. So I decided to level up the regular foil all the way to level 5. It was actually a bit too expensive for the credits I had, so I couldn't buy exactly enough to level it up. But then I used DEC instead to buy the last 4. That way I did have enough and you can see me successfully level the Deeplurker to level 5.

I think some of the other cards for Water Splinter from Chaos Legion would also be wise to level up further, however I ran out of those credits that I got so they will be for another time. Especially the Epic ones I will have to level up to get them a bit stronger. In the video I also looked at the Angelic Mandarin getting Triage at level 4. I'm not sure if I'd play the card often but it's still a useful ability and I do think it can be strong in low mana battles and with the Little League ruleset where it can provide good backline protection.

After the shopping and upgrading those cards, I also included some battles from afterwards when I was trying the cards out. Unfortunately my opponents didn't bring max level cards, as I'm still in Silver 2 in Modern due to playing mostly in Wild format. In these battles I don't get to trigger the Enrage ability on Diemonshark, but I do see it get a double kill with the Trample ability so that's great! Looking forward to trying these levelled up cards in more battles.

Ahoy! Here is my progress update for my road to level 50. I still had to do the excellent throws and defeat a Rocket Leader 3 times using a party with a max CP of 2500 per Pokémon.

I decided to record a video of defeating Arlo for this task so you can see it getting completed!

Earlier this month I already defeated Arlo twice since the lineup changes to the Team GO Rocket Leaders, Giovanni and to some of the Grunts.

That time I used a party consisting of my Swampert that is rank 1 for the Ultra League. Second I used my Clone Charizard that I caught the first time these Clone Pokémon were available in the game. Which means it's caught from a Raid, I don't know the exact stats out of my head. Long ago I already powered it up as close to 2500 CP as possible to sometime use in the Ultra League back then. Last but not least I used my 100% IV Escavalier that I've tried a few times in Ultra League during this season. It worked quite decent there and also worked well against Arlo so far.

However this time, Arlo had the worst lineup for my team. He was using both Salamance AND Dragonite, my Swampert does some damage to it with Hydro Cannon and Charizard with Dragon Claw, but not enough to defeat him.

After a few tries, I switched my Escavalier out for one of my Sylveon, luckily this one was still below 2500 CP!

With that Sylveon in the party it went so much better and I can provide this video showing that the task "for defeating a Rocket Leader 3 times with a party of 2500 CP or less" gets completed!

Usually I prefer to do Sierra with the new lineups, but I didn't find Sierra today and the balloon you can get between 6 pm and midnight brought Arlo so that was a great opportunity!

Now all I have left to do is finish the excellent throws as I already have the exp! Maybe it'll be before the end of the month, maybe early December, we shall see! Maybe I'll try to do a video on that too!

Ahoy, yesterday the latest season in Splinterlands ended on November 15th. Classic me editing the video and making the thumbnail the next day and posting then instead of on the day itself.

Just like the last season I decided to go for Gold league in the Wild format during this season, I moved up to gold there when there were about 6 days left in the season. In the modern format I played until Silver 1 and still played a bit then. I played a bit in both formats while I was still in Silver 1 for both, but once I moved up to Gold in Wild format I kinda stopped playing in Modern. That's because of the lower focus points earned from battling in Silver Modern when I have gold loot chests thanks to playing in Wild.

On the last day of the season I checked the Modern silver leaderboards, I was about 500-600 rating away from making it into the top 10 to 25, so I figured I wouldn't be able to get there. Instead I did some more battles in Wild then before the season ended.

This time I got to 65 End of Season chests and they're gold loot chests as my highest achieved rank was Gold 1 during this season.

Wow this was a really great pack opening!! I got 13 Rare Cards in those 10 packs and on top of that 4 Epic Cards AND 2 Legendar Cards!!

The only unfortunate thing is that out of those 10 packs not a single card was gold foil just like the last season ending.

BUT despite no gold foil card that was a really great pack opening. Especially with one of the two Legendary cards being a Summoner!

It was quite funny, last season ending when I also opened 10 Chaos Legion Packs I got a Uriel the Purifier which was the first one that I now own myself. Then this next season ending I open another 10 Chaos Legion packs and I get Uriel the Purifier again 😂 Which is great! Now I need to get just one more and then I can combine them into level 2. He gets healing at level 2 so that'll be really beneficial. I might buy another one of him soon so I can level him up.

Then I also got a Quix the Devious! Really awesome for one of the Legendary cards to be a Legendary Summoner! I already owned Quix the Devious from early on when I opened the packs I got in the pre-sale, but haven't gotten any since then. Now this is my second Quix the Devious, so just like with Uriel the Purifier I will now need 1 more and then I can bring him to level 2. I don't use him often right now just because he's level 1 which means my Monsters will also be lower level, but once I get him to level 2 I'll probably use him more often.

This season ending and the opening of those 10 Chaos Legion packs combined together was really good! Hoping for some gold foil cards next time though!

Ahoy, yesterday on October 31st the latest season in Splinterlands has ended. Happy Halloween to everyone as well for that October 31st, even if my post is a bit late :P

I did record the video yesterday on October 31st when I opened my End of Season rewards.

This season I decided to go for Gold league in the Wild format again instead of in the Modern format. When there were about 6 days left in the season, maybe 5, I decided to move on from Silver 1 to Gold. At the same time I was also in Silver 1 for the Modern format.

I decided to try and challenge the leaderboards there in Silver league. However I was mostly battling in Wild in the Gold league, so I didn't make that good progress to keep close to the leaderboards in Modern. On the day the season ended I did some battling, but was still about 200 rating away from a top 25 place. I decided to quickly switch to Wild again and get like 2 more wins there to get one additional end of season loot chest, because in Modern it would require at least 6 battles with the Season Points I was getting there from battling in Silver.

With that final chest from a few wins in the Wild Format, I ended up with 66 Gold end of Season Loot Chests.

Ahoy, this October 14th the latest season in Splinterlands has ended.

During this season I decided to play quite similar to last season, have my main focus be in Modern and maybe try to challenge the Silver Leaderboards in Wild. For both formats I battled early on in the season to get into Silver already. Then my focus was mostly in Modern as I was gaining more SPS there than I was in Wild. With about 5 days left in the season I moved to Gold for the Modern format and continued fighting there.

My rating in Wild was not that high yet, as I was only sometimes battling when I needed a bit more RP to get another daily loot chest, where I didn't want to play a Modern battle for it because I'd gain too much focus points for it. That allowed me to sometimes slowly progress in Wild too.

On the last day of the season I started battling much more in Wild, to try and get one of those leaderboards placements. However my strategy wasn't great at all, because I eventually had to play against a lot of players/bots that were well below my rating and so I barely gained any rating eventually. It seems that if I want to try and challenge for the leaderboards I'll have to fight regularly so that I can keep up with the score and challenge people around my rating instead of suddenly being matched against those with a much lower rating.

I didn't easily maintain Gold 1 in Modern, I sometimes got over it, but then lost a few and dropped back below. So this last day of the season I made sure to battle a bit in Modern too to make sure I was in Gold 1.

I got 56 End of Season Loot Chests this time, which is 1 less than last season.

Ahoy, the latest season in Splinterlands has ended this September 30th. I recorded claiming my rewards that day, but I've been a bit busy that day and yesterday as well so I am uploading the video today with the thumbnail made today and writing the post as well.

During this season I have played differently than usual. I still battled in the wild format a lot, but this time when the season was a bit past halfway of being over I decided that I'll attempt to challenge the Silver Leaderboards in Wild. So I actually started battling more in Modern to get to Silver 1 there as well, and then continue battling to reach Gold in Modern this time instead of in Wild.

I was able to reach Gold in Modern, but then it took me quite some time to progress through the Gold ranks. I often kept being around the same rating due to an equal amount of losses and wins. Slowly progressing. It was on the night before the season ending that I actually made it to Gold 1 in Modern.

Then on the day of the season ending in the afternoon, with about a few hours to go I was battling a little bit. The plan was to battle a bit in Modern to try and get more loot chests AND also battle in Wild to challenge for the leaderboards as I had dropped down to like 45th place. However I ended up having to go and I couldn't find any time to do more battles before the season ended, so I was unable to challenge for the leaderboards this time. Perhaps I'll try this again in the next season though! In that case I do hope that I'll have enough time on the day of season ending to continue battling :P

This season I ended up with 57 end of season loot chests compared to 64 in the season before. Partially due to not being able to battle much in the few hours before the season ended. Still not a bad amount of loot chests.

Ahoy, the latest season in Splinterlands ended yesterday on September 15th. I'm uploading today because I had class yesterday so I did record the video but didn't get down to making the thumbnail and writing the post yet.

Early in the season I battled in the modern format since the season reset put me back into bronze I decided to play until I reached Silver 3 in there to make sure I could join some Modern and Chaos Legion Tournaments. At least I think it's better if I'm in Silver league to be able to join them. The rest of my ranked battles focus for the season has been in wild. I stayed in Silver for the majority of the season, slightly longer than half of the season. Where I did see myself in the top 20 of the Silver leaderboards at some point. With like 5 days left of the season I moved to Gold and continued playing there where I finished the season in Gold 1.

This time I got 64 Gold Loot Chests for my End of Season rewards, that's 7 more than I got last season.

In the video I talked about possibly buying Riftwatchers later that day. But I was in class and when I checked the first 500k were already sold so fast!!

When I clicked the Claim Rewards, after some loading they didn't show up. I refreshed the site and then clicked details of season chests to go look at my last season's rewards. That way they did show up.

Ahoy, on August 31st the latest season in Splinterlands has finished. I am once again uploading my video a day later, but did claim my End of Season rewards on August 31st.

In the Modern format I battled early in the season until I reached silver and then I mostly stopped battling in Modern and put my focus more on Wild. In Wild I started off in silver already, and stayed there for about half the season. Then I moved on up to Gold and reached Gold 1 a few times. Sometimes I had terrible losing streaks of like 4 battles, which caused me to drop back down to Gold 2 more than once. Eventually my ranking was up good to cover for those losses and I finished the season solid in Gold 1 for the Wild format.

This time I only got 57 Loot Chests for the End of Season compared to my 69 last season it is quite a bit of a difference. I think I've been gaining less Focus Points on average with my wins and that probably led to this as well. Perhaps also some less battles this season as I had a few busy days where my ECR had gone all the way back up to 100%

A few days ago ranked rewards were updated so now we gain SPS instead of DEC from winning ranked battles and the DEC in Loot Chests has also been replaced by SPS.

Apart from that I did get almost the bare minimum as I got 9 Rare Cards and then also 1 Epic from opening the 10 packs. So almost the minimum of 4 Common and 1 Rare per pack. But slightly above it as I did get one Epic Card. Which was Nerissa Tridawn, so I'm really happy with that as she's one of my favourite Chaos Legion Cards (many of the Water Cards are)!

Ahoy! This August 16th the latest season in Splinterlands has ended, so it's time to claim the rewards! I opened them yesterday, but I'm posting the video today.

This season was a bit shorter again than the previous one. In Modern format I was in silver, I didn't play that much in Modern. Most of my battles have been in the Wild format. I battle in Silver a lot first, made it to within the top 20 on the leaderboards too. Eventually, sometime just past halfway through the season, I moved on to gold and continued playing there. I finished the season in Gold 1 like usual.

This time I got 69 Loot Chests. I was at 65 or 66 Loot Chests on the day the season would end and I still had some time to battle so I did. Through those battles I managed to get my season loot chests up to 69.

Before the season ended I closed the site, and then when I returned later in the day to claim my loot chests I opened the site again. It seems that this way I did properly receive the overview screen with my highest rank in the season and the amount of loot chests. So I'll try to do it like that from now on.

The Legendary Iza the Fanged is great to have. I don't use her that often, but have had some really awesome wins with her when I used her! I have her at level 2 currently, which is the highest level I can use with my Summoners max at Silver level. It's great to have one additional one ready to level up towards Gold level when I get some Summoners at that level.

At level 2 her ranged attack increases to 2 so in some games she can really help well in taking out the backline once she's level 2.

Ahoy! On August 1st the latest season in Splinterlands ended. I recorded the video while claiming my End of Season loot chests yesterday, on August 1s,t and opening some Chaos Legion Packs as well. I made the thumbnail today and uploaded the video as well now.

This season lasted a bit longer than usual, so I spent a bit longer in silver but also some more time in gold league as well.

Most of my battles were played in the wild format, I even made it to like 10th or 11th place on the silver leaderboards at some point. But at that point the season was only half done, and I didn't feel like continuing to grind that until the end of the season. So halfway through the season I moved on to gold and player there.

I've also played a bit in the modern format, but not as much. I stayed in silver there.

With this season being a bit longer, I was able to get more loot chests. Before the season ended I was at 86 or 87 loot chests, and still had some time to play until like an hour before the season ended. In that time I managed to get to 88 loot chests for End of Season rewards! That's quite a bit more than in the previous season!

After refreshing the page to claim my End of Season reward chests, the pop-up disappeared so the number isn't show there. But there are 17 rows of rewards and 3 more at the bottom. In the overview image of the rewards you can see that the number of chests was 88.

No Legendary Rewards Cards, but I did just get a Harklaw in my Daily Focus the night before the season ended. And the day before that I had a Venator Kinjo in my Daily Focus rewards! While recording the video I forgot the name for Venator Kinjo 😅 Which you'll hear me just describe him as the neutral Legendary reward card.

I had 3 Chaos Legion Packs from my End of Season Rewards, and saved 4 that I got from Daily Focus throughout the season. To open them up I decided to round it up to 10. The SPS Airdrop has ended, so there is no need to keep the packs for airdrop points. But I don't want to open all of them right now, because if I keep some then they'll also have a chance to contain the future Legendary Airrdop Summoners if I open them after they come out.

Alright, time to open up those 10 Chaos Legion Packs. I'll leave out the Common Cards like last time so the list isn't too big. Well except for one!

Because I did get a Gold Foil Antoid Platoon! So there you I did want to include that Gold Foil Common here.

Ahoy! I decided to open some more Gladius Cases before the next brawl would start, to see if there would by any chance be a Gold Foil Gladiator that I could try out. I'm playing in a Gold Foil only fray, so I can only use Gold Foil Gladiators when I'm creating a team for my brawl battles.

For this video I am opening 5 Gladius Cases. Last week Merits have been added to the Loot Chests for Daily focus and End of Season rewards. So far in my silver league loot chests I've gotten just above 10 Merits per daily focus on average. I finished one Daily Focus in gold league, and that one gave me 14 Merits. This is not much, and of course it doesn't have to be because otherwise Gladiators might become too easy to come by. Especially since Brawls aren't the only source for Merits now. It just means that for now, I might go back to opening 5 Gladius Cases at a time instead of 10. I'll see how many Merits I get at the End of Season. Perhaps I'll do 5 Gladius Cases regularly and sometimes still do 10.

Alright, so let's start off with opening these 5 Gladius Cases!

I open them, and see exactly 3 rows of 5 cards. That's 15 cards to flip over, out of 25 total cards, so it seems there will be quite some duplicates.

In these Gladius Cases I find:

First I find 2 Chimney Wallstop, followed by 1 Witch of Warwick. Then back to a duplicate as I find 2 Isgald Vorst, 1 Betrol Gobson and 2 Rare Relenor Cleaver.

The second row starts off with two different rares being Ajax Lightfoot and Captain Katie. Then 3 Krash Wanderford, which seems to be the most duplicates of one card in these packs. I finish revealing the second row with double duplicates as I find 2 Rare Liza Fox and 2 Whistling Damon.

Let's move to the final row. The first card I flip over is 3 of Alva the Crusher, so this amount is equal to the Krash Wanderford from earlier. Then a Katrelba Gobson, 2 Helmet Kharafax and a Hugo Strongsword. Strong being in the name of Hugo Strongsword, I finish the revealing of these cards quite strong, as the last card to reveal is an Epic! This Epic turns out to be Marisol Contuma.

This Epic Gladiator is for the Life Splinter. So far I haven't really been able to use it because I mostly play in the Gold Foil Frays and I don't have a Gold Foil version of this card yet, of any Epic Gladiator in fact.

After revealing all the cards I go to my card collection, and filter on the Gladius cards only. Then I hit the combine all button to get them all combined, this ensures I always have the highest level available, even though it doesn't matter much currently since I can't use the regular Gladiators most of the time.

Hitting the combine all cards button, I notice that some of my Gladiators have levelled up! My Common Isgald Vorst and Helmet Kharafax are now both level 4 and my Rare Relenor Cleaver is now level 3!

Ahoy! Earlier this week on July 13th the latest season in Splinterlands has ended! I claimed my End of Season rewards in the evening of the day. But still had to make sure the video was proper, and make a thumbnail as well. I had to do those things today, which is why there's quite some delay between claiming the rewards and publishing this video.

My Daily Focus is still ready really far from the End of Season time, so I once again couldn't include those rewards in here.

I played about half of the season in Silver and then moved onto Gold and play there for the remainder of the season.

On the day the season ended I played a bit more until like an hour before it finished as I had to leave then. I made it to right above 76 Loot Chests for the season, which is 1 loot chest more than I got with the previous End of Season.

When I opened the page, the pop-up with the amount of chests didn't properly stay. So I went into the season details to hit the claim button. Unfortunately the amount of chests I earned wasn't displayed there either, but luckily I remembered it! At the start of the video I scroll through the chests to find a single row with one chest at the bottom. Which indicated that I had 76 chests indeed, because of 5 chests per row and then one final one in its own row at the bottom.

Ahoy everyone! It has once again been a little while since I showed some Gladius Case openings. Because of that I've saved up quite some Merits already now, and I figured that this time it would be better to open 10 Gladius Cases at once, instead of the usual 5.

Perhaps next time I will open up 5 again, but we shall see about that. Because in the post from last night that I read, I saw that Merits will be coming to Reward Chests soon. The chance for Reward Cards will go down by 10% and that 10% will then have the possibility to contain Merits. This is done to encourage players to join a guild and participate in Brawls, because SPS rewards will be coming to Guild Brawls in the future. Once this update is live, I'll see how many Merits I start getting from Daily Focus Reward Chests and the End of Season Reward Chests. Then I can maybe open 5 Gladius Cases more often, or perhaps do 10 all the time but less frequent. More on that once those changes are out. With those extra Merits resulting in being able to open more Gladius Cases, it will also slightly increase the chance a bit for getting Gold Foil Gladiators.

Now let's get back to these Gladius Cases. In my last video I opened 5 Gladius Cases and I got Two Legendary Gladiators, which was craaaazy for sure! Now I'm totally not expecting at all to get any Legendary Gladiators in these Gladius Cases, but oh boy was I totally wrong on that assumption!!

When I start opening those 10 Gladius Cases, the first row already has two Epic Gladiators. This is a really great start to the opening of them already. Quite some Rare Gladiators as well. I didn't reveal the two Epic Gladiators yet, because I wanted to wait until the end to see which ones they were. I started the second row from the back, as that's where I finished revealing the cards in the first row. On the second row of cards when I reach the last card in the row (or first from a left to right point of view), I was sooo shocked and surprised to actually see the Legendary border colour showing up while hovering over the card. Since I'm waiting to flip over the epics, I will also wait to reveal the Legendary until the end. I move my mouse down to start checking the cards in the third row, and OMG that is another Legendary Gladiator card right there!!! This is craaaazy!! Once again two Legendary Gladiators in the Gladius Cases that I was opening! Even though this time I opened 10 instead of 5, it's still crazy! And also two Epic Gladiators. No Gold Foil Gladiators, but regardless of that still some amazing openings.

Since they're account bound it's always best to upgrade them to the highest possible level to have ready for play.

Ahoy, this June 30th the latest Season in Splinterlands has ended.

This time I couldn't include my last Daily Focus of the season in the opening rewards, because I've been busy in the past two weeks and sometimes couldn't properly claim them. Since there is currently a 24h runtime on the new Focus, it meant that the time at which I can claim my Daily Focus rewards has been postponed several times.

On the other hand I did get more End of Season Loot Chests! Last season I managed to get 64, but this season I was able to get 75 of them! I finished this season in Gold 1 like usual. I still played quite some battles in the last hour or two before the season ended to get those chests up to 75.

This time when I refreshed the page, the pop-up with the End of Season report and the claim button properly showed up and stayed! So I was able to have that one at the start of the video and I use that one to start claiming the 75 Loot Chests.

Ahoy, on this June 15th the latest season in Splinterlands has ended and this is also the first End of Season since the introduction of the new rewards changes!

I was able to gain 17 loot chests for my Daily Focus on the last day of the season, but I had to wait like 7 hours after End of Season before I was able to claim those. I decided to wait with claiming them so that I could also open them in this video together with the End of Season loot chests.

For the season itself I gained 64 End of Season Loot Chests. Which is more than double of what I would normally get from finishing the season in Gold 1. I was trying to get to 65 Loot Chests before the timer for the season was up, but I ended up losing my last 2 fights before there were 5 minutes left until the end. In the last 5 minutes you can't queue for any new battles anymore, only finish the ones still going on. Still the 64 Loot Chests is pretty good for the first season with the update, I can now try to aim for more chests at the end of this next season.

I start claiming the Daily Focus chests first, and from those 17 chests I got the following rewards:

• DEC: 48, 48, 24 & 24
• 6x Legendary Potion
• 1x Alchemy Potion
• 1x Ever-Hungry Skull
• 1x Vulguine, yay that's my first of this card! I didn't get this one from my Daily Focus chests until now

Ahoy! This 31st of May the latest season in Splinterlands has ended and with this season ending the new ranked rewards system will start!

With the new rewards system being launched, I show this a little bit at the start of the video. The daily quest has been changed into daily Focus, winning ranked battles with the featured element will earn Focus Points towards unlocking loot chests that can be claimed at the end of the Focus timer. There is now an overview screen as well for the ranked season where it shows your Season Points and the points required to unlock the next loot chest that you'll receive at the end of the season. From this screen I can also claim my last End of Season rewards, which is what I show in the video.

During this season I actually went into Gold 1 already about 5 days or so before the end of the season. It went well with some battles but at other times the battles also went really badly xD To the point that sometimes I felt maybe I shouldn't have advanced yet, but in the end it turned out quite well.

From my last Daily Quest in the season I got:

• DEC: 3, 10 & 22
• Pelacor Mercenary
• Gargoya Lion
• Pelacor Bandit
• Twilight Basilisk
• Gold Foil Pelacor Conjurer

Now that I've talked about those and showed how you can claim your End of Season rewards it is time to go and claim those. From my end of season rewards. I got 30 loot chests for finish the season in Gold 1 and from those I get:

There could've been more, but only if I had gotten some from my EoS loot chests, which didn't happen. Time to open them up now.

Ahoy! It's once again been a while since I opened some Gladiator Cases. I opened these in the weekend, but still had to upload the video and make a thumbnail. I finished those today so I'm now uploading the video.

Let's see which Gladiators I get out of these Gladius Cases.

Starting off with

• 4x Alva the Crusher
• 1x Edith Emberstar
• 2x Cutter Brieze
• 3x Helmet Kharafax

And oooohh there is a legendary! I'm going to wait with flipping over the Legendary until the end. That's how I used to do it too back in the days when I played Hearthstone. I would flip over all the common cards first, then move on to the rares and if there were any epic or legendary I would reveal them in those orders.

Continuing on with flipping over the cards I find:

• 2x Witch of Warwick

OOHH MY GOD there is a second Legendary Gladiator in these packs?!! That's crazy insane and awesome! Just like with the previous one I'll wait until the end to reveal it.

Going further with checking the cards, up next I find a gold foil Gladiator!

These are some really crazy Gladius Cases it seems. Two Legendary Gladiators and also 3 Epic Gladiators!

I won't spoil which Legendary Gladiators I received, come find out in the video which ones I got and feel the moment!

After finding out which ones I got I go to my Cards collection, filter it on Gladiators and combine all. Because they're account bound they can't be rented out, so it's better to just get them levelled as you get them. That way you're making sure that you're always using the highest possible level of your Gladiators.

Ahoy! This May 16th the latest season in Splinterlands has ended.

During this season I decided to go into Gold 1 a day earlier than the season ending. The daily quest I got that day before was finished while I was still playing in Silver 1, but claimed after I moved to Gold 1. Then I got my last daily quest of the season about 2 hours before the season ended. Which was to win battles with the Fire Splinter. It actually went surprisingly well to complete the quest in Gold 1 with my silver level cards. So I ended up with 2 daily quests finished in Gold 1 instead of the usual of one quest.

For the one I completed on the last day I had a tab open with the rewards, but because I signed up for a tournament the page was refreshed and I lost the screen 😅 I do talk about the rewards.

They were the following:

• DEC: 3, 4, 4 & 10
• 1x Legendary Potion
• 1x Alchemy Potion
• 1x Pelacor Deceiver
• 1x Pelacor Bandit

Ahoy! Yesterday on April 29th the latest season in Splinterlands has ended. I recorded the video of opening my End of Season reward loot chests then, but didn't get the time to get the video ready and make a thumbnail until today. So I'm uploading now with a delay.

Like I've been doing in past videos, I show the rewards from my last Daily Quest in the season at the start of the video before moving on to claiming the End of Season loot chests.

When I got my last daily quest, there were about 2 hours until the end of the season. I received the quest to win ranked battles with Death. Because I had 2 hours left, I was often picking Death Summoner's, even if they may not have worked well for the rulesets etc. Which resulted in some losses that I may not have had if I picked a different team. Eventually I got there though! So then I advanced to Gold 1 and claimed the rewards.

From that daily quest I got:

• DEC: 4
• 2x Mystery Potion
• 1x Chaos Legion Pack
• 1x Pelacor Conjurer
• 1x Gargoya Lion
• 2x Venari Bonesmith

Quite funny actually to get 2 Venari Bonesmith from the daily quest reward when I had to win ranked battles with the Death element! 😂

As you could've seen in the title and thumbnail, I got a Gold Foil Legendary!!!! 😄😄 It wasn't in the daily quest and End of Season rewards, so as you can guess it was in the Chaos Legion Packs! I won't put spoilers here for which one I got, find out in the video 😉 Or try to guess it from the thumbnail 😄

Ahoy! It's been a little while since the last time I opened some Gladius Cases. Which was a really great opening session with my 2nd legendary Gladiator AND a gold foil Gladiator that time around!

So now after a little while it's time to open some Gladius Cases again!

Ahoy! The latest season in Splinterlands has ended this April 15th. When I was claiming my rewards it was already past midnight for me, so I was claiming them on April 16th.

Before claiming my End of Season rewards, I show the rewards from the last daily quest of the season. At first I had a Sneak Quest, but already did one earlier in the week so I felt like rerolling and got the Dragon Quest. It took me a while to complete, but managed to complete it sometime during the day. Once i finished it I moved into Gold 1 and claimed the rewards.

From that Daily Quest I got:

• 2x Pelacor Deceiver
• 1x Pelacor Bandit

Just like last season my last Daily Quest of the season ended up being the Neutral Quest where you have to win battles without using any Neutral Monsters. It took me a few games to complete it, but it wasn't too long.

It contained 2 Pelacor Conjurer, a Pelacor Mercanery and a Pelacor Deceiver. Two Rare cards being a Twilight Basilisk and a Naga Assassin. The last 2 rewards were an Alchemy Potion and 5 DEC.

In the evening I claimed my 30 End of Season loot chest rewards. They contained:

• 3x Legendary Potion
• DEC: 8, 6, 16, 2, 55, 16, 22, 15 and 29
• 3x Pelacor Mercenary

This time just a Rare card at best, so my last Daily Quest of the season' rewards were actually slightly better based on card rarities. Perhaps better luck next time.

Ahoy! After some more brawls and with already saved up Merits, I bought some more Gladius Cases. 5 like usual now. I decided I'll open them now during this brawl cycle before submitting my brawls, in case I get a new Gladiator that I could try out.

Ahoy, this March the 15th the latest season in Splinterlands has just ended. Once again I battled in Silver throughout the season, often being in the top 100 of the leaderboards. Then at the end of the season I moved on to Gold 1.

Today I received my new Daily Quest about 2 hours before the season ended. I got the Neutral Quest where I had to win 3 ranked battles without using any Neutral Monsters. I completed the quest quite quickly. That Quest featured mostly red rewards, quite fun to see. I include them at the start of the video.

Ahoy! Now it's definitely been sometime since the last Gladius Cases opening. I've saved up a good amount of merits, so I might be able to do another video with 5 Gladius Cases much sooner than the time between the last one and this one.

I should really remember to make sure the audio on the site is turned on before I get into opening them xD So I had to put a little pause in the video to go do that.

This time was not really a great opening as rares were the best. I did get 3 of the same Rare Gladiator so that was pretty cool! Let's find out in the video which one I got 3 times.

Ahoy! It's February 28th and the latest season in Splinterlands has just ended. This one was slightly shorter than usual due to the shorter month. I battled in Silver League throughout the season.

Once I completed my last daily quest of the season I saw was rank 43 on the Silver Leaderboards. I believe in the video I mentioned a 2900 rating, but it seems I was at 2799 looking at my battle history. So I guess I had those 99 in my head and somehow thought I had 2900.

Maybe one day I'll properly challenge for the leaderboards. Today was definitely not the case as I still had a lot of tournament battles to submit and wanted to go for a walk as well.

My last daily quest today was the Snipe Quest. After I completed it and moved to Gold 1 to claim it, I received a Chaos Legion Pack from it which I'm opening after claiming the End of Season rewards.

Ahoy, this February 15th the latest season in Splinterlands has ended. The past days I've often been just in the top 100 on the leaderboards in Silver. Usually would see myself between 70-100. I was going for a walk with a friend though and likely would be back close to season end or just past it. So I didn't attempt to compete for a top 25 place.

Instead I decided to finish my daily quest in Silver 1 and then moved up to Gold 1 immediately as I had enough rating for that. Then I claimed my quest for the rewards. The past 3 days I had the Snipe Quest, I got it again today and was like "nah, already did this quest 3 days in a row, I need some variety" and so I rerolled it and got the Earth Quest.

My Daily Quest gave me a Chaos Legion Pack and then I got one from my End of Season Rewards too. So I decided that I'll open both of them afterwards as well.
