Kishori Yogini dreamt of a life in the city, and pursued this path to becoming a TV presenter, securing jobs at Channel 4, Loose Women and MTV but after some serendipitous turn of events, she found herself living in temples, marrying an ex-monk, and following a Bhakti Yoga path. In this episode we hear her beautiful story of finding yoga, what yoga really means and how it can impact one's life. We talk theology, spirituality, rebirth, the veydas and the many things we weren't taught at school.

Breathwork is becoming more and more popular, thanks to the the rise of apps like Headspace and an increased focus on holistic wellbeing and mindfulness, more people are tapping in to their breath as a tool to navigate their life with more ease. After discovering and forming my own practise I've found it to be hugely beneficial in managing stress and connecting deeper with who I am so I wanted to open up the conversation with a seasoned wellness professional to discover more. In this episode with Zarah, who's been practising a little longer than I (12 years!!!) shares her passion for the breath and its ability to nurture and heal us not only physically, but also emotionally and spiritually.
We talk about reconnecting with our intuition, understanding our power and being in tune with our selves as well as decoding different types of practise including conscious connected breathwork and pranayama.

She originally trained as a performance artist, writer and director and became interested in mind-spirit-body health through her preparation and training for the stage. She created Biddie as an ode to the life lessons she has learned along the way with the goal of assisting womxn on their journey to improved health and internal wellbeing. She’s combined both her creativity and business acumen to inspire and produce products that enrich and improve the femxle experience. Oh and she’s also a momma of 2, so she shares some great advice for fellow caregivers needing to carve out time for their passions.
