“It's not just the healing of someone that has cancer. It is the healing of anyone that needs to be healed and anything else that might steal that inner part of you, that beauty that you have from within yourself.” -Mari Gomez
About 10 million people die from cancer each year. In fact, it is the second leading cause of death globally. Many are affected, but help is sometimes hard to be found or asked for. Mari Strong Foundation was born from the idea of being a beacon of hope and a source of assistance for women who needs that healing. The nonprofit organization was named after Mari Gomez, a cancer survivor herself.
In this episode, Mari talks about her journey and how she pushes through to fulfill her mission. Elizabeth and Mari also talk about the power of giving back, the best way to support others who are going through tough times, and why self-care is crucial in your roles as a mother, a wife, and a woman.
Mari Strong Foundation is hosting the Finding Your Inner Beauty Women’s Conference 2021 this October! Tune in and learn what exciting things are there to look forward to and what benefits you can get from it. Book your seats now!

“When is enough going to be enough? We need to do something! The people that are afraid of reporting are actually in more danger.” -Robert Almonte
Will Mexico’s Drug War ever end? Thousands of innocent lives are sacrificed each year at the hands of powerful cartel lords, and many more are next in line. For decades, murder, violence, and crimes of every sort continue to rise. Mass graves, invasions, tortures, and other horrifying scenes can be found from the city to the very fringes of the country. Yet, no one dared to report because fear rules on the hearts of the citizens. Until when will people have to live in terror? It’s time this dread ends. Robert Almonte, El Paso Police Department’s Deputy for 25 years and a former US Marshal conducted extensive research on narco-terrorism brought by the Mexican Cartel. In this episode, Elizabeth and Robert discuss how law enforcement and the community can work together to protect the borders and create a sense of security for everyone. It’s amazing how “togetherness” can make a difference. Robert is also hosting a timely course on this topic. Tune in and learn how you can join International Summit on Mexican Cartels and Gangs Summit.

Licensed Professional Counselor, Sandragrace Martinez relates her story of personal perseverance and overcoming adversities. She also talks about how adverse childhood affects how we approach adulthood and how to turn traumatic events into our strength and beacon to help others.
