The Big Bald Broadcast: Recent Episodes
A little time gone and a little time back. Kyle is going to be busy in the upcoming weeks, so there’s a guarantee that show’s may be sporadic leading up to our appearance at AnimeNext. Our solution to that is to give you MOAR CONT3N7!!1!!1! With Steve taking his hiatus early to tend to the impending doom of fatherhood for the second time, we start a rotation of guest hosts to keep his seat warm. Starting with Chris “Kirbopher” Niosi. Flash animator, voice talent, artist, and all around nice guy.
Kyle and Chris chew the fat about the most recent woes of the anime industry, specifically those of 4Kids and Viz (NY), the new Skype Beta which allows a five person video call at a price, new DBZ games in the pipeline and the general witty, slightly nonsensical banter that you’ve come to expect from this show. A little old, a little new and as you can see by the new site design a whole LOT of blue.

Months in the making, hours of planning, prep, and tactical know-how went into bringing the B3 LIVE FROM TEKKOSHOCON 2K10. Now it’s come and gone, but the memories are forever. Audiocast & Videocast, right here in this block just for you, the B3 faithful. Keep tuned to this space because the content will keep churning for daaaaaaaaaays, I promise.
First thing’s first of course, the status quo is audio. A little over an hour with voice actors Todd Haberkorn, Christopher Smith & Robert Axelrod and the strong spiked spines of Tekko; Warrior king Bryan Spiegel, Prager the Destroyer, Jester Uncle Yo. What happened during this panel? Assume the best of the worst, assume you may need therapy, assume that quite possibly, despite Steve and I moving on to B!tchcast to vent our frustrations, that too many people live by “it’s not cruel if it’s hilarious”.

A little under a hour, but the B3 is back with more bang for the buck as we ring in a new theme song and bring you not one, not two, or even three but four guests. Crystal Mesina forms the feet and legs, Maurice Salmin & Eddie Colmenares form the arms and torso and Johnny Yong Bosch forms the head of EYESHINE! That’s a whole hour with a fan favorite gettin’ their geek on all in the comfort of your own home.
The band talks the business, their fans, what they’re playing in their mp3 players and on their consoles and where they’re going from here. As an added bonus, NO COMMERCIALS. That’s right, NONE. In their stead is a musical interlude of brand new material brought to you by your new best friends.
