The scriptures tell us of a dark time coming on the earth called the "great tribulation." Toward the end of this 3 and half year period, the vials of the wrath of God will be released upon those people and nations that have rejected God. However, the true saints of God will not incur that wrath of God, for we are not appointed unto His wrath according to 1 Thessalonians ch. 5.
So, if the bible teaches a post-tribulation rapture of the church (which I adamantly believe it does) how will God preserve and protect His bride from the wrath to come? Recently there has been an escalation in the unfortunate war primarily between Ukraine & Russia. This following the promotion of a new Russian military commander who is known as “General Armageddon,” which definitely has prophetic undertones. Despite what the causes for military engagement are; one thing is for sure, innocent lives are being severely affected and tragically lost.

In the 2nd chapter of the biblical book that bears his name, the Prophet Joel proclaimed the words of God saying, “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh…”
This prophecy was repeated by the Apostle Peter on a very first Pentecost celebration following the resurrection & ascension of Jesus Christ. When Christ came into the world the first time, He came as the lamb of God with a mission to provide a way of salvation out of sin and its consequences.
When He comes the second time He will come to redeem those that obeyed the gospel and gave their lives to Him. But that’s not all, the scriptures teach that He will take vengeance on those who, for the most part, ignored His calls & continued in their own way. This is what is referred to as the pouring out of the wrath of God.

As I consider our contemporary world and the progressive ideologies surrounding sex & gender, I can not help but consider the story of Sodom and Gomorrah and what that story represents as it pertains to the feelings God certainly has about it. Of course, we know that His objective moral standards do not change.
Some are attempting to normalize their versions of what is right, push it on the rest of us and hope to placate us into accepting their vile affections.
