It can be quite amazing how God takes a seemingly disastrous situation and turns it into something much better. This is certainly the case of King David in the bible; despite his mistakes caused by sin, Bathsheba's second son Solomon, who was at the center of his mistake ended up being in the line that brought us Jesus - our redeemer and messiah. This story serves as an encouraging reminder to us today that no matter how messed up things become, God can still use our mistakes and brokenness to proclaim the gospel, bring hope to others, and give unconditionally love to a world in need of grace.
