How do you get the favor and blessings of God in Kids. Ministry? Be united with the visionary of your church, your Pastor. You and I are an extension of his ministry. We are bringing the ministry of our Pastor to kids. He cannot be in every class room, therefore, you and I get to bring the anointing from the top (letting it get on us). We get to contribute to the overall vision of the church by being connected with our Pastor and by bringing everything we can of his vision to the children.
It's been a year since we have been Challenged to do Kids Ministry in a crisis. God's Spirit never stopped working, it took an act of faith on our part to follow His Inspiration. During this time, God inspired a desire in us and our goal was to do the same for kids and other kids ministers. In time, the kids at Life Challenge will look back and know that the church and the Children's Ministries acted in faith during a crisis.
A practical episode. Get ready to write your 5 purposes/passions for being involved in Kids Ministry using index cards. Write the vision, make it plain upon tables that he may run that readeth it. These will be your go-to cards that will keep you focused and passionate in Kids Ministry. Don't give up. God will honor His word and you will see results and fruit.
Do everything in your power to get under God's power! Let Jesus be King in your life! Submit to your Pastor. And get ready to have Kingdom authority and the power of the King to help save kids. Without a king, Judges 21:25 says, we will do whatever we want and it will just be chaos. Kingdom order hinges on you as a kids minister. If you are submitted and spiritual the kids you are reaching will have a breakthrough and come into God's Kingdom and be in Kingdom order. The will receive the same power and live submitted and spiritual Kingdom lives.
We are challenged by Jesus to go all the way as a disciple. As kids ministers we must go all the way and finish goals and win souls. Let's not be like Tom cat and never able to capture Jerry.

There is a Spiritual border crisis in Kids Ministry. There are two cries: one for freedom from sin and the other is the need for a family. Kids ministers must pray for kids to be born again to enter the Kingdom of God and travail a second time for Christ to be formed in kids: to be a part of the family of God and be a spiritual disciple of Jesus.
How do we know when we score in Kids Ministry? During March Madness, take the analogy of each position in basketball and apply it to being involved in Kids Ministry. 5 positions, 5 letters in the word SCORE. You want to help the team win, by checking off everything each week on your SCORE card!
When God realigns you in your purpose in Kids Ministry! Get close to God by prayer, church services, and listening to your Pastor! God will revive our purpose when we get close to revival: God will call you to holiness! He will realign you to help free children from bondage.
Value the 2nd mile in Kids Ministry. Dont be satisfied with just doing the required. Be a 2nd mile volunteer that does more and takes the initiative. You will reap 2nd mile minded results in the kids. They wont just attend church but they will be born again and they will be involved in ministry.
The enemy will always be trying to get us to have a bad attitude so that we will not bring the right sacrifice in ministry. God wants us to have a good attitude and bring a pure message to the children. A spiritual message to bring them life, not a carnal fleshly message that brings death. Let's allow God's word to change us if we have a bad attitude. If we change we will bring the right sacrifice. It's not about us but it's all about bringing Jesus to the children.
A message preached by a once Sunday school child in his home church. We must hold on to the word of God to be able to invest and produce others in the Kingdom of God. Being a child and growing up in Life Challenge has taught me these principles. Our Pastor is passionate about connecting the word and lost souls together. A bus child was mentored by an Apostolic Preacher to invest in the harvest.
Build children's ministry out of obedience to God's voice and command. Move with urgency and loyalty. To whom much is given, much shall be required. With great power comes great responsibility. Build to save children.
