Welcome to Marian Andrew’s Indie Books & More, the podcast for literary fans and indie authors who would like the chance to listen to and talk about their books and the challenges of self-publishing.
I always recommend some books I’m reading and really enjoying. Popular topics include chick-lit, sappy romances, erotica, family sagas, paranormal love plots, LGBTQ romances, female empowerment, and reverse-haram dramas.

Season 2, Episode 2, Part 2
Following last week's podcast, this is the final chapter of the episode of Book Reviewers, Raters, and Haters. This episode includes my conclusion and what authors can do to fight the toxicity of trolls and obnoxious book reviewers.
You can find the online article I discussed in this podcast here.
Season 2, Episode 1, Part 1 is where it all starts.
Book review trolls exist, and many indie authors have been bullied off several online book platforms because of it. In this episode, I discuss the level of toxicity and obnoxious behavior some reviewers have and leave for authors’ books. I will pick out some reviews of books left by reviewers for some of my favorite indie authors. I will dissect these reviews and call them out as I see them.
This episode has been split into two parts, and the second part, including my conclusion, will be in the next episode, (S2E2) on September 18th.
