For each of the guys in the house, the 2023 season has had its ups and downs. Today we asked the question, what was your best moment of the season and what was your worst.
We did have a technical issue halfway through. We apologize for that.
I got my good buddy Jacob Wheeler on the podcast today. We want to talk about making it to the pro level of fishing and share some wild stories that we have together. Hope you all enjoy this one.
It has been a while since I have jumped on and done a podcast. We need to do these more often. We have a good bit to catch up on so sit back and enjoy.
You have all heard DCs story of how he got to where he is but what about B? B details how he got into editing and filming, how he and DC met, and how his career has changed because of it.
DC explains what he has been up to over the last month and a half, why the youtube videos haven't been as frequent as they normally are, and the plans for the upcoming season.
So many funny and strange things happen during the tournament fishing season that we either don't have the camera around to record it or we just can't post it on youtube. However, today we are going to share a few of them with you. The biggest key in bass fishing and in life for that matter is all about being dialed in. What I mean by that is being focused and aware of everything happening around you. If you can't pick up on the little details as they are happening you might find yourself constantly chasing your tail.
Now that the 2021 Major League Fishing Bass Pro Tour season is complete, I thought I would go and dissect each event and grade them. This is based on my overall finish, how well I adapted throughout the event, fishing conditions, etc.
There is a completely avoidable issue I see coming for the next generation of anglers. I think technology may have a lot to do with it. I worry that they have become too reliant on being shown how to use different baits and techniques rather than learning them first hand.
Today we sit down with Steven Scott AKA Lurch, the announcer for Major League Fishing. He talks about how he got to where he is in the entertainment world, from motocross to monster jam and now fishing. Having a positive attitude, the confidence to say 'yes', and not being afraid to fail can take you far in life.
I am literally at the last tournament of the year. I am very blessed to be back doing what I love with some really good friends. However, after this tournament is over, what happens then? I got one of my best friends, Mark Daniels, Jr., to sit down and talk about what he loves doing during the tournament off-season. So, listen in as we 'keep it reel'.
For the first episode of my podcast, I think I should start from the beginning. How I became a professional bass angler. I take it back to the first bass I ever caught all the way to this year of becoming the 2021 Major League Fishing RedCrest Champion.
