The devil CAN’T destroy you but he CAN attack. So while you don’t have to fear, you DO have to be ready for it.⠀When a bully finds a weak point, thats where they hit. Satan is that bully trying to destroy Christ’s name through your life.⠀Heres how you can fight against him!⠀✨ Know Scripture-and rightly divide the Word of Truth. Satan will always try to twist scripture on you.⠀✨ Pray the Armor of God over yourself, daily. From the top of your head to the soles of your feet. You can find this in Ephesians 6!!⠀✨Recognize when you’re the weakest and seek God for help through prayer. Ask yourself if you’re tired, hungry, feeling alone, physically weak, having hormonal changes.⠀✨Respond with Worship and Praise to God! When Paul and Silas were in chains in the darkest prison, they reapinded with praise and worship-and it caused the prison walls shake and fall!! Praise holds the POWER you need to exalt God, strengthen your faith, remind you of God’s goodness, AND defeat the enemy. End of story.⠀✨Being a witness to the Glory of God through trials can also lead others to Salvation!! Trauma can hit you in the feels-it can knock you down and keep you from getting up again. It comes in multiple forms and displays itself quite uniquely; always morphing and changing based on your experience. ⠀ Your trauma won’t look the same as mine so it’s never fair to judge each others coping skills. But because your relationship with God is so intricate, real, and personal- He’s able to shape your path in the most beautiful kind of ways. ⠀ You may be persecuted, but you are not abandoned, struck down but you are not destroyed (2 Corin 4:7-11). In times of trouble God is always with you- and He’ll make you able to begin again. ⠀ If you’re struggling today, it’s ok to sit and relish in it. We all need time to grieve as we sort through our fall. But remember this. He heals the wounds of every shattered heart (Psalm 147:3). Including yours when you’re in your broken season. ⠀ Sister, if you’re in a season where you know past trauma is holding you back from stepping into who God’s growing you to be, let’s talk about this together. Some of the most humbling stories in Scripture tell of men and woman afraid to walk in scary change.
