Ministers called and entrusted with a ministry is who everyone who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior is. Well is there another type of ministry? Yes, why do we need to understand this? In the kingdom of God knowledge makes a whole lot of difference. The things that are ours from God must be sought out from scriptures(The Bible) and understood to be able to walk in them. The more knowledgeable you get about who you are in Christ the more boldness you will walk in both in prayer, ministry and all round. Listen and be Blessed! Walk the talk and talk the walk is a very common phrase in today’s time and age, we hear people say he or she only talks doesn’t do that or someone does exactly what they say, so walk here refers to how they live their life. So Ephesians 4 being our anchor text today we look at the believers walk as Paul describes it. How should believers basically conduct themselves? Is there a difference between a believers conduct and that of an unbeliever? What’s the difference and why? These are some of the questions we attempted to answer. Listen till the end to get the full gist😊. Feel free to share this podcast to those you feel will benefit from it. Thanks for listening! Have an awesome weekend 😇
I believe that when one takes time to say out loud what the Word God says about us we become more conscious about who we are in that regard. Today was about declarations specifically from the book of Ephesians 1-2. Paul was the writer of that letter and he wrote some very salient and bold declarations for the man in Christ today! Listen till the end and write out your own declarations and start saying them over yourself also! Have a blessed weekend!☺️
But Now… as believers a lot has been done in us and for us that needs to come out through us! Today we discuss on a portion of scripture I am meditating on. Gal 3:25-27 is the main text, others are 2Corin 5:17, Col 1:12-13, John 3. I hope you listen till the end so you get the full gist. Pray for us and what we are doing, thank you in advance. Share this podcast also with friends and family! Have a blessed week ahead!😊

Feel free to share will friends and family! Have a blessed week!
Freedom is a very important thing in our world, everyone wants to be free from one thing or the other, but the question is what exactly is freedom? We tried to answer few questions in the light of this. Today we take a look at how the death of one man resulted in the freedom of billions and how we can really be free. John 8:36 says Therefore if the Son of man makes you free, you shall be free indeed. Try to listen till the end to get the full gist! God bless you!😊
Today we will be talking about Fear! We will take our main text from 2Timothy 1:7 It’s best you listen till the end to get the full gist! I don’t want to spoil your curiosity so I won’t say a lot BUT go listen and don’t forget to share with family and friends! Sharing is caring! Feel free to drop a feedback also! God bless you! 😊

In today's Podcast we talk about the topic Shout of a King and we attempt to answer a few questions. Our main text is from Numbers 23:7-25. It is the story of Balam the prophet from Aram and Balak the King of Moab who wanted the children of Israel cursed. Balam went there due to his greed but was warned by the Angel of God to only say what he was told to say. Balam tried to curse the people three times but each time it was blessings that came out. In verse 21 He said there was a shout of a King in their midst referring to Christ. Paul in 1 Cor 10:1-4 speaks of Christ as the spiritual rock who was with them on all their journeys in the wilderness and affirming indeed that God was in their midst through Christ his son and so no curse could be laid on them. Gal. 3:10-14 speaks of how Christ also became a curse for us, so Christ in our midst and the one who borne the curses on himself. Balam was speaking God's heart and intention. Can we be cursed? Are there curses today? Those are some questions we also answered. Feel free to listen and share with your friends. Write us feedbacks and also Pray for us. God bless You all! 😊
In todays podcast we took a look at how love and knowledge are connected. We asked some questions like how can we walk in love? And we said that it is actually impossible to love selflessly without being born again and having God in dwelling you and also haven also have received God’s love for you. John 4:15 .God dwells in everyone who has believed in Christ. That means that everyone who has received Christ as their Lord and savior has the capacity to love like God but yet not everyone does. The difference however is knowledge. Colossians 1:9 speaks of us being filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding and verse 10 says being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. That means the extend to which you will be fruitful in every good work is dependent on the amount of increase in the knowledge of God you have. It’s supposed to be continuous increase in knowing God. 2Peter 3:18 says to grow in grace and the knowledge of Christ. So to know and to believe God’s love for us leads our heart out of doubt, fear, unbelief, worry and a whole long list. 1 John 4:16 says we have known and believed the love God hath to us. Their has to be a knowing there that comes from studying his Word. We ended with the story of Jehoshaphat the king who walked with God but didn’t want to do it alone so after he took away the idols that Judah was enslaved in he replaced it with teaching. He sent out princes and priest all over the region to teach the people the Laws of God which they had forgotten since they got involved in idol worship. The story is in 2 Chronicles 17: 1-9. The land was in awe of God. The right knowledge from the right source at the right time is so vital and key to Christian maturity.
In today’s Podcast we spoke about We being the dwelling place of God and the temple built by Solomon being a figure of that. The book of kings starts off with David dying and passing on the kingship to Solomon and he gets to build the temple that David so earnestly wanted to build for God. In the Book of chronicles we see temple dedication going on. 2 Chronicles 5,6,7 Solomon spoke about it when he dedicated the temple he built to God instead of his father David. However he himself said God cannot be contained in a building, also it is written that Abraham was looking for a city which had foundation and whose builder and maker is God says the writer of Hebrews.
Hebrews 11:10 KJV [10] For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. So If Abraham was looking for that, it’s obvious the temple Solomon built in all its glory was not the promised dwelling place of God. Solomon himself concluded by saying that God should arise into his dwelling place and the priest be clothed with Salvation and saints rejoice in goodness, it’s obvious he is speaking of the new creation using the figure of the temple built with hands.
2 Chronicles 6:41 KJV [41] Now therefore arise, O Lord God, into thy resting place, thou, and the ark of thy strength: let thy priests, O Lord God, be clothed with salvation, and let thy saints rejoice in goodness.
Yes the temple was built and was glorious but it was a figure of the great glory that would be revealed in the new creation in Christ i.e. the man in Christ .and much more. Later in Chpt 7 :16
2 Chronicles 7:16 KJV [16] For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.
This cannot be speaking of a physical temple. That physical temple was later destroyed and rebuilt later but the temple God was speaking about was the new man created in Christ.
1 Corinthians 3:16-17 KJV [16] Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? [17] If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
In the book of Corinthians Paul tells us we are that temple. God dwells in us in the new creation and we are priests unto him serving in his purpose on the earth.
We are the temple spoken about in the Old Testament.
Peter says
1 Peter 2:9 KJV [9] But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
Priest serve in a temple and we are that temple where God dwells and we serve his purpose on the earth to the nations and people everywhere we are situated or located.
In today’s Podcast we have discussed on the topic ”Beyond appearances”
Before Samuel anointed David King he looked at Eliab first because he was seeing the physical appearance so in his judgement David couldn't be the king. 1Samuel 16:6-7 When David came to King Saul and announced he will fight Goliath, he told him he wasn't fit, because he was looking at the physical appearance of a young boy in comparison to trained soldier with ,any years of experience and not to speak of the physical fitness. 1Sam.17:33
But when it's with God physical appearances stands no chance what stands is the heart and motivation of the man. God saw David's heart before he made him King. He knew David will be committed to the course of God's plan for the earth which is redemption. When he spoke up to fight Goliath it was not just a mere talk it was born out of a jealousy so to say for God and his people. He understood how priced God's people are, that someone who doesn't have God with him should even dare to come against them and think they will win God's battle.
One Weapon The Giant Goliath used was fear which resulted from the words he spoke. The Army and the King listened to such negative and fearful words for 40days. They slept and woke up thinking about all the negative things are this took their attention away from God to this enemy fear. We need to be careful of who we listen to, we need to continue to hear what God says about us, and about his love for us through reading the bible and also via listening to sound teachers. That way our heart is guarded from the onslaught of Satan through fear and we are able to walk in who we really are : More than Conquerers.
So David defeated Goliath because he choose to see God through him fighting the battles. He had already fought a bear and a Lion in secret , when no one was watching him and he says the God who delivered me from them will also do the same. He had built his faith to trust the Lord, so must we. Trust the Lord for the things you are dealing with secretly and when one come openly you would have grown in trusting the Lord and you will trust him. 1Sam17:34-37
God is for us always, we need not allow fear due to what we can see with our physical eyes paralyze us but we need to see with the eyes of faith, that God never fails. Romans 8:32 He gave Jesus up for our sakes and through him freely gives us all things. Have an awesome weekend and Stay blessed 😇 !
In today’s Podcast we talked about Counting it all Joy and Rejoicing in Hope. Bible Text was from James 1:2-4. We said that it’s easy to be joyful when all is going according to plan but when things don’t work out as planned, or some situations present themselves that isn’t so pleasant that’s when you need to count it all Joy. Christian character is developed in the face of affliction and trials not when all is well. Romans12:12 also encourages us to Rejoice in hope, be patient in affliction and to be persistent in prayer. It’s no doubt that Christian character will also be developed when we endure in the face of a challenge and rejoice our way out of it. God indeed is for you! Rejoice for you are coming out! Have a Blessed Weekend!😊
In today’s podcast we begin talking about the “In Christ” realities which Paul speaks about in The Epistles. After a man is saved he needs to learn Christ. Meaning he needs to know and grow in his new identity which is the new man created after the likeness of Christ. Growth as we all know, is a product of knowledge. We say we are growing or have grown as we acquire knowledge and insight into what we knew nothing of previously. It is the same after the new birth. A believer must grow in the knowledge of Christ hence Bro Peter writes in 2Pet 3:18 “But grow in grace, and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory now and forever Amen.” Christian growth/New creation growth is a product of adequate feeding on the Word of God daily and being fed with appropriate Christian sermons and materials. One will thereby discover who they really are now, what God did in him at salvation, what is expected of the believer now that he is in Christ and how he ought to conduct his life now. We must not be ignorant Christian so we don’t become preys for the deceit of the devil. The In Christ realities are so important for the man who will be bold in Christ, serve the Lord effectively and live out his life in Christ maximally. Below are some of the Scriptures you can begin with. Write them out and use them when you pray knowing that it speaks of you right now. I pray the Lord grants each and everyone of us more understanding as we strive daily to grow in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ and hence discovering who we really are Amen. Ephesians 1:3- 13, Ephesians 2:5,6,10,18,19. Other scriptural references: 2 Peter 3:18, Romans 8:9-10
Today we focused on discussing how important it is for us to live intentionally as Christians, that is actually living on purpose. Our main text was from Romans 12:9-18,21 which describes the marks of a true Christian and also we read from Romans 5:1-5. We also discussed about how routines are great for us. We concluded by speaking on how God was and is intentional about His pursuit of Us. In today’s Podcast we take a look at Paul’s prayers in Philippians, Colossians and Philemon. As we summarize on the Pauline prayers we have been dealing with for the last couple of weeks we go into details to connect these prayers in this books to those said in Ephesians and other books as well. We ended up saying that there is a good work done by God in each one of us according to Eph.2:10 and Paul wrote there in Philemon we ought to acknowledge it. Also we celebrate 🎊 4 months since we started Podcasting. We thank God for his goodness and faithfulness in seeing us through all these months. We are glad that you are a part of what we are doing here and are praying for us to reach more people via this medium. Thank you so much 😊
In today’s podcast we continue talking about the Pauline Prayers but we look at Ephesians 6 :17-20. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; 19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. We discussed about two key things he emphasized, about praying for all saints and for ministers of the gospel. Finally I spoke about a sermon by Rev Chris Segun Onayinka on the livingwordmedia which blessed my heart on Prayer, it’s titled Adventures in Prayer and you can check it out too. Let’s keep 🙏🏾 praying! Have a great weekend!
The Pauline Prayers II -Today we focus on Ephesians 3:14-19. Here Paul prays for the believers and we actually take a step by step look at what those prayers he said mean. It’s important to understand also that there was a background to which he prayed for them and we also discuss that today and finally we focus on the last verse on God’s love for us. Bible reference Ephesians 3:2-6,14-19 Keep praying for us and until next week Stay blessed.
In today’s Podcast we will be focusing on the Pauline prayers. What is that? Where is it found? What does it entail?
Definition These are prayers found in the New Testament that were said by Paul. He prayed for the believers in the cities where he had founded churches and ordained Elders and pastors to take care of the churches.
Where are they found? They are found mainly in the Epistles he wrote to churches like in Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians and also one in Philemon a letter to a brother in Christ.
What do these prayers entail? They entails details on how we can pray for churches, brothers in Christ, family and also ourselves. In most of them he Paul is the one praying for these people who have come to receive the salvation in Christ and he focus on somethings that are so important, which are about them growing in their knowledge and understanding of who Christ is, what he has done for the believer and who he has made the believer ie The New Creation in Christ. Bible Reference for today: Ephesians 1:15-23 Keep praying and have a blessed Weekend!😊
In today’s podcast we look at a few women who prayed in the Bible. There are so many women who prayed in the Bible, time will not permit us to go over every single one of them, we will talk about 2 today. Hannah and Anna 1Samuel1:9-26
Hannah was married to a man called Elkannah and she had no child. She was very sorrowful because the second wife was always teasing her for her barrenness.
Hannah whilst on a family trip to worship in Shiloh, went to the temple and prayed intensely to God, she wept , her spirit was heavy, and she poured her heart out to God in prayers and ended it with a vow to God. 1. He will be returned to God 2. He will be a Nazarite.
So long story short, God blessed Hannah with a son and she brought he back to God and He was Prophet Samuel who served God till he died!
Anna Luke 2:36-38 She was a woman who married and after 7 years her husband died and then she became a widow and dedicated her life to prayer and fasting for the salvation of God to Israel ie for the coming of the Messiah. In other words she was amongst those who prayed into existence Jesus our savior. She was really old, shoe could have said she needs a break now relax and rest the rest of her life, but she was constant in prayer and fasting. She was a perfect example of consistency in prayer for years. She came in at the right time and saw Jesus and a baby and recognized him because she had been praying.
It takes a lot to stay consistent at anything, but the more one works at it the better one gets. It works the same way in Spiritual things.
The more and regularly you pray and read your Bible the more regularly and consistent you will read and pray. Soon you develop and good habit and it becomes second nature to just do it.
There are many more women who prayed and got results but for the sake of study and I chose these two.
Next week we look at the Pauline prayers
Let’s keep praying and stay consistent!
Today we start talking about Prayer.
Prayer is a very huge topic but it can be taken in little bits. Today we will focus on ~what is prayer? ~why do we pray? ~who do we pray for?
What is prayer? Prayer is communicating with God through words. Words could be known and unknown.
Why do we pray?
We pray because our confidence isn’t in ourselves our know how, strengths or weaknesses or our power but in Him who is greater than us and has the power to do what we can’t do for ourselves.
We pray because we believe God is for us and loves us and has a great purpose for us here on the earth and prayer is one of the ways we initiate these changes. James 5:14-16
We pray because we have been commanded to do so severally in scriptures. 1Thess 5:17 We see from scriptures that men prayed, both in the old times and New Testament. Jesus prayed and said men ought always to pray and not give up, Paul prayed, the disciples prayed Acts 7 they gave themselves over to prayer and the word, and many other numerous examples of praying believers.
We pray because it is a necessity for the believer! Prayer and the Studying the Word of God should go hand in hand.
Who do we pray for?
Jesus prayed so ought we also to pray, he prayed for the sick, blind, lame, deaf, demon possessed and oppressed, the dead. He also prayed for his disciples and those who will come to believe in him John 17. We are to pray not just for ourselves only but for the sick, the Church the body of Christ, church leaders pastors, evangelists, missionaries, for other believers and those hurting in many ways, for the plans of God on the earth also. 1Thess 5:25, Eph 6:18-19, 2 Thess 1:11, Col 1:9-14, Phil 1:9-11, Eph 1:16-23, 3:14-19, Col 4:12 More Bible references Luke 6:12 Luke 18:1 Acts 7 Ephesians 6: 17-18 Philippians 4:6 Keep praying 🙏🏾!
The definition of Honour can be primarily said to be to hold someone, an organization, an institution(not referring to a school but an institution like marriage) in high regard and to be submitted to their authority above you.
That being said we can say that honour can be shown to people and organizations or institutions or laws and customs governing a land.
Example 1 is Jesus honouring his parents
. 48 And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. 49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business? 50 And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them. 51 And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart. 52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. Luke 2:48-52. Below is the website where I read from
What does Luke 2:51 mean? | BibleRef.com
Children ought to honour their parent
Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. 2 Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) 3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
The Church members ought to honour their church leaders, pastors and so on
17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. 18For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that threadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward 1 Timothy 5:17-18
Married people need to honour their marriage and their spouse
4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. Hebrews 13:4
Singles need to honour their singlehood
22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 2 Timothy 2:22
16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are 1 Corinthians 3:16-17
What honour can produce?
Peace, unity and ones, working together to achieve more and blessings.
What dishonour can bring?
Hurt, pain, bad life choices and living with the aftermath, brokenness, and also fear, unfaithfulness, and depression.
Thank you for listening, until next week stay blessed!
In scriptures it’s clear God’s intentions have not got to do with self love or even believing in one’s self but rather on His love for us which we are to receive.
This week I was listening to a sermon titled What God cannot change about you ( link to sermon 👇🏾) by Rev. Chris Segun Onayinka and he said something that caught me to the heart, he said God did not ask us to believe in ourselves instead many times Jesus said to believe in God and him. ~~~~~ John 14:1
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. ~~~~~~
Self love has got a lot to do with trusting in our own self and bringing us in a place of selfishness and self-centeredness, while on the other hand receiving God’s love for us and giving it out to those around us brings us genuine peace and liberty. ~~~~ John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. ~~~~ 1 Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. ~~~~~ For it is in prayer that selfishness and self centered ness are brought under the authority of Christ because we do not trust in ourselves but in Jesus Christ and so we pray. Prayer helps us set our mind on God and not on ourselves. Ephesians 3:17-19, Romans 5:5
So dear friends believing in yourself and self-love is not scriptural but believing and trusting in God and his son Jesus who died and rose again to give us eternal life and receiving his love for you is all over the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.
In today’s Podcast we take a look at the difference between God’s love and Self-love from the Bible’s perspective. We also discussed on how we can love people better and it’s important to listen till the end to have a full picture of what we are talking about. Hopefully we can dig deeper next week to explore the consequences on both sides. Some scriptures we looked at are : Deuteronomy 30:15-16, 1John 4:7-11, 19-21, Matthew 22:35-40, John 3:16, Romans 5:6-8, 12:1-2. We celebrate our 10th Podcast today🎉🎉🎉. We have started a YouTube channel and https://youtu.be/DL-mZqFX5ik you can subscribe there and listen to us also. Thank you for listening😊🙏🏾

Bible references: 1Corinthians 15:1-6, Romans 10:9-10, Romans 5:8, Acts 18:26 NB: at 06:30* I meant 1 Corinthians 15 not Romans 15, sorry about that. I think we would need a part 2 but stay tuned.
👋 Hello again! I start off talking about Unfeigned Faith today. Bible Reference: 2Timothy 1:1-7. Be blessed as you listen!
In this Episode, I shared from the Scriptures how older women in the church ought to be a positive influence on the younger ones. I discussed how negative influences can affect our walk and relationship with God, if we do not take charge of our lives. In Proverbs it’s says, He that walks with the wise, will be wise, but a companion of fools will be destroyed. Be blessed as you listen! NB: I meant Paul was writing to Titus* in his letter not to Timothy. Bear with me please! Sorry😊
