We have no prior knowledge of the comic universe and have only been following the cinematic universe so this will be a journey for us too!

We also finish the rest of Marvel Mystery COmics with The Angel, The Masked Raider, American Ace and the Adventures of Ka-Zar the Great.

Hi all and welcome back to another Fan Fave Fri episode! This Friday we talk about Thor's first encounter with the God of Mischief Loki. We also get a look at Asgard and the Bifrost as well as Heimdall and a very small appearance from Odin. There is also a funny little story about how Loki escapes his century long imprisonment because of some technicalities.

So far we have been following the Human Torch's story on Wednesdays but we enjoyed Ms. Marvel so much we decided to cover one of her issues for the next few weeks! We also thought to begin The Sub-Mariner's story because we are nearing our first cross-over! How exciting!!

Hello everyone! Welcome back to another episode of Marvel Over the Years! In this episode we jump right back into the Golden Age. This episode is a little bit different because I recorded it by my lonesome (insert sad face). But that's okay! Because I get the older comics can get a little bit dry (so I won't be offended if you skip these ones).
On this Monday we talk about some characters that are becoming a little bit familiar and some others that we've never met before! In this issue we have The Purple Mask, K4 and his Sky Devils, Monako Prince of Magic, Whirlwind Carter of the Interplanetary Secret Service, Marvex the Super Robot, G-Man Don Gorman, Breeze Barton in the World of Savage and Trojak the Tiger Man (I feel like Trojak keeps coming back).

Happy Friday everyone! In this episode we continue with Deadpool's very first comic solo following his first appearance in the Marvel Comic Universe. We jump right into the action with Deadpool taking out a team of mercenaries in the first few pages! There are also a few characters that show up that we know of and a few that I've never heard of but we've already established that about our Fan Fave Fri's lol. There will be people and storylines that we don't know yet so please bear with us!
This series only had 4 issues so we will also be doing another Deadpool ep next Friday but after that I think we may change it up a bit. Not sure but we'll keep you updated!

Wednesday: Heroes We Know
This Wednesday we bring you a special "Heroes We Know" episode! Moving a little forward from the Golden Age, we thought that we would cover the story of Kamala Khan. Ms. Marvel comes out on Disney plus today so we thought we would keep up with the trends and find out a little more about Kamala. In this episode we talk about Kamala's origin story and try to figure out a little more about how she became Ms. Marvel.
We absolutely adored this story because it had very relateable themes about growing up as a second generation immigrant and the internal conflict about cultural identity.

We see a mini glimpse into the 5th dimension, an introduction to another universe and more money laundering schemes!

Both of us consider ourselves fans of Marvel but have never read any of the comics. So we wanted to expand our knowledge and document our journey through the ages of Marvel ... beginning with the Golden Age.
