This week we are in part 2 of our new conversation about "Learning to Walk By Faith". It actually is a follow-up to previous conversations we had concerning “Dealing With Discouragement and Depression”.
The scriptural reference was from 2 Corinthians 5:6 that opens with this saying… "So we are always confident…"
I believe the Lord chose that passage as a means to an end. He desires that we be encouraged, confident, bold, steadfast, unmovable, and abounding in Him in spite of all life’s distractions that are being played out before us.
This week we launch a new topic of conversation about "Learning How To Walk By Faith". There is no question that what we believe can have a positive or negative impact on our lives. However, with all the negative distractions permeating our days of late - if we don't develop a faith that is not based upon what we see, or what's happening around us - we're going to have a problem. Together we are seeking God about how to Walk by Faith and not by sight!
This week we sum up what we've learned about Dealing with Discouragement and Depression.
Listen to this week's podcast as we continue this much-needed conversation about dealing with discouragement and depression. Dr. Clemence Nyandjo also returned to offer more of her expertise as a practicing psychiatrist and woman of faith.
This week's special guest Dr. Clemence Nyandjo, who is a Psychiatrist and Physician that specializes in mental health, shares her medical wisdom and practical biblical encouragement on how best to handle Discouragement and Depression during our troubled times.
You may not believe this but there are so many of us that are unconsciously dealing with discouragement. We are keeping up a good face but for real - we are a bit troubled. However, with all that’s been happening in our world - it stands to reason.
This month Life's Uncertain Journey Weekly Podcast desires to bombard heaven for some answers. We need to seek God for help so that our discouragement does not lead us into depression. If we are already standing on the brink of depression, we need to learn what to do to back off that brink so we won’t go over it.
In this episode, we are taking a look at a snapshot from God's Word of a particular Prophetic Giant who himself had to deal with discouragement and depression hoping it will shed some light to help us.
