Welcome to the Soft Tissue Therapy Podcast

In this episode Liam and Emily talk to Bristol City centre-back Robbie Cundy about his injury, rehabilitation and some of the treatment he received along the way.

In early March 2021 Robbie sustained an injury to the articular cartilage of his knee. He underwent a micro-fracture - a surgical procedure that creates tiny fractures in the underlying bone, this stimulates healing and causes new cartilage to develop.

Over the next few months Robbie went through rehabilitation, encountered setbacks and overcame them to go on to make his full first team debut in mid-March 2022.

Listen in for the whole story and for the professional athlete's take on all things therapy.
