If we want to have a more enriched understanding of scripture, it helps to take the perspective of a director. What is the tone of the scene? What are the emotions? How does each character deliver their lines?
Paul Patton and I take a dive into the world of Theatrical Hermeneutics as we try to understand how to best read scripture in a theatrical context.
Today I spoke with the prolific speaker, author and advocate Michèle Phoenix. We spoke about Missionary Kids and Third Culture Kids (MKs and TCKs), what transition back to their passport country can look like, and why so many of them struggle with their faith.
In this episode I discuss what it's like to be a missionary in Ukraine with George de Vuyst of Resonate Global Mission. We discuss his history with the area and his work in the Reconciliation ministry before taking a dive into how current global tensions have inpacted what it means to live and work in Ukraine.
