In this episode, we interview Anji who is an serial entrepreneur in crypto and the co-founder of Finnt (part of the YC22 batch). We dived into various of topics including how he got into crypto, what inspired him to found his current company, his view on Defi and what will Web3 look like in 5 years.
Alex is a former JP Morgan investment banker turning into a startup founder and YC alum. In this episode, we discussed his journey from taking a leap of faith to leave JP Morgan and pursue his startup idea, getting rejected by YC and later on learned how to build conviction and built a product that people actually want and getting accepted by YC for his second try. He shared some his mental models on testing out product ideas, managing founder dynamics and how to avoid burnout as a start-up founder.
In this episode, we interviewed Yilin, the co-founder of Caper.AI -- AI-powered Smart Carts & Checkout Systems. Caper.AI was accepted as Y-Combinator's Winter 2016 batch. It was acquired for $350 million in 2021 by Instacart, the leading online grocery platform. Yilin shared with us his journey as a co-founder, what inspired him to pursue this venture, some of the challenges they encountered and lessons learned.
