There can only be one (2nd place) champion! And a classic split strategy battle decides it. Also: Seb is sent off in style.

Max overcomes a grid penalty for his 5th straight win. Leclerc and Russell round out the podium without truly threatening the leader. Sainz and Ham storm from the back. And our favorite post-game TV host Nyck DeVries jumps in a Williams and grabs a couple points.Â

Solid race. Red Bull keeps making the right calls, Merc keeps getting closer, and Ferrari keeps shooting themselves in the foot.

We try to make sense of the glorious, mixed-up melee that was the British GP.Â

Things fall apart (again) for Ferrari. Red Bull coast into a commanding position in both championships. Russell keeps the streak alive. And Olivia almost goes 9 for 9 on her Baku Bingo card.

We cover the evolution of F1 tracks from the early days of the sport to the modern era. Then we grade each track on this season's calendar. It's more fun than it sounds!

We celebrate Checo's big day but can avoid a thornier question: What's the point of Monaco?

Leclerc fucks with Drake's money. Lewis battles negative thinking to finish strong. Carlos can't quit the gravel.Â
Red Bull pull in front (but Merc is back!)
All this and more in our recap of the Spanish Grand Prix.

Our F1 for Dummies series is back for a very basic introduction to some essential aspects of the sport. What does it mean to actually make an F1 car when Ferrari has a huge factory and Haas just has some cash? How come some teams build engines while others just buy them? What's up with all these different tires?
Time to eat your veggies, kids!

We hop on the mic for a micro-preview of the upcoming Spanish Grand Prix.Â
Can Leclerc rebound after crashing Nicky Lauda's old Ferrari over the weekend? Will the rumored car upgrades make a real difference? Can Spain's unluckiest men (Alonso and Sainz) turn their seasons around on home soil?

We rather lazily assess the Miami GP a few days late. Brandon urges you to sell your F1 hype stock and stick the the fundamentals. Olivia laments the points that fate cruelly took away from Lando and Mick. We also tackle the most pressing questions of the day: Does Lewis has a dick piercing? What's become of Danny Ric? Is Seb's beard some of kind of charity thing?
Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/f1101pod/support
We pose a simple question for each current F1 driver: are their best drives ahead or behind them? We share our answers, their (questionable) rationale, and compare them to how the fans voted in our Instagram poll. Spoiler: the K-Mag hype has eroded the ability of our fans to think straight!

Fortune finally favors Max. Lando gets lucky. Charles proves that no man is perfect. Lewis stays inexplicably stuck.

We get on the mic right after watching the sprint to break it down and emotionally process. This one gets super pseudo-psychological.
As alwaysââthis being Americaââif you find yourself having a good time you should expect to pay for it. We only ask for a buck. https://anchor.fm/f1101pod

Prince Charles keeps the throne. The Red Bull engine blunders down under. Seb and Sainz have a sad one. And forgotten man Alex Albon pulls a magic point out of the bag.
All this and more is broken down and dissected as we recap the Australian GP.

In this one we assess both the undeniable impact and growing disillusionment with Netflix's Drive to Survive.
Who is this show for? What are its innovations to the sports docuseries format? What happens when its newbie audience actually takes the bait and begins following the sport for themselves?
Consider throwing us a mere dollar a month. We'll be here all season long. https://anchor.fm/f1101pod

For the second time in four months we're back at F1's most thrillingly demented track.Â
Lewis forgot how to qualify, Mick worried his mother silly, and 11 years into his F1 career Checo pulled out his finest lap yet.
Race day featured a spate of Alpine on Alpine violence, three engines mysteriously dying on a single lap, and round two of Leclerc and Verstappen going head to head for the win.
But despite the non-existent safety margin and the literal missiles raining down at the edge of the city this race was still pretty damn good.

We recorded this in a stressed-out fugue state immediately after the Bahrain GP.
It was an amazing race, and also a gutting and baffling one.
The new pecking order seemed clear, until it wasn't.
Can these Red Bull engines last a full race? Is Lando gunna be OK? Is Haas for real?
We don't know! But stay tuned and throw us some lunch money as we try to find out!

It's one week till lights out and we're straight up giddy.
In this episode Brandon and Olivia talk takeaways from Bahrain testing and preview next week's race.
We go deep on K-Mag's shock return, what Danny Ric's COVID means for McLaren, and dissect both the features of the track and the controversial history of this GP.
May this sustain you till race day!

This is the big one: our 2022 season preview.
Not the most original concept, but we're doing it our way: no predictions, all narrative.
Brandon and I talk about storylines we'll be following, tracks we're looking forward to, and our deepest (unreasonable) hopes for the coming season.
I get sentimental and Brandon makes fun of me.
Plus a little fresh take on the recent Maze-o-drama.

Plus we give some winter testing updates, ponder the Russian GP in light of recent events, and rank the new cars in order of hotness. A natural transition.Â

Hi guys! We're back with some F1 basics for ya.Â
New to the sport? A little fuzzy about the structure of an F1 weekend? Always wanted to know how air works?
Brandon gets professorial (read: mansplainy) about slipstreams and dirty air, DRS and downforce.
How dirty is this air? It's f*cking filthy!Â

In this episode we introduce our driver profile series. And who better to kick it off than Roscoe's man-friend Lewis Hamilton?!
We're going through the childhood, the stats, and the social media page of the man, the myth, the legend.Â
How do you feel about his media silence? Is he coming back better than ever, or can the next generation take down the king?
