Family Worship Center is located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. We have an emphasis on biblical exposition to "grow in grace and in the knowledge of God."
Jesus Christ is our peace. Those who are in Christ Jesus have His peace; however, the wicked, and those who reject Jesus as Lord and Christ, seek many things never experiencing the peace of God.
The Tower of Babel passage contains great truth. One can also look at the materials to see how man makes his own efforts to escape the judgement of God without simply believing in the promise of Jesus Christ.
The book of Romas tells us that God predestined those called according to His purpose to be conformed to the image of His Son.
This message is part two of a look at John 3:16 and considers the position of everlasting life.
John 3:16 is easily quoted, but do we have a good understanding of the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. This message takes a deeper look at the doctrine of this great passage of scripture.
The way to be free is to know the truth (John 8:32). The way to know this truth is through continuity in God's word. The purpose is to increase in the knowledge of God. Knowing God is to know His will and His way.
As we live in a day in which the concept of truth is questioned, Jesus teaches about hearing the truth, but simply not believing.
The passage of Jesus walking on the water is often disputed; however, when one considers the time element of the passage, it only shows the glory of God and takes all the doubt away. Jesus was asked about why His disciples did not fast. His answer led to the familiar verse that you cannot put new wine in old bottles. Observe the significance of the wedding metaphor that led to that passage. pastor@familywrshipcenterag.org

Jesus, after emphasizing the importance of continuity of prayer, asked, "when the Son of Man cometh, will he find faith on the earth." To look at why he would not is to look at man's fall in the garden of Genesis chapter three. Will Jesus find faith, or will he find the children of disobedience. pastor@familyworshipcenter.org
The people were putting their trust in their new king; however, Samuel advised them that God had been their king. Their wickedness was great in asking for a king. The people asked Samuel to pray for them. Samuel indicated that he would not sin against the Lord by ceasing to pray for them and teaching them the way that was good and right. pastor@familyorshipcenterag.org
At the incarnation of Christ, it was a promise and the power of the Holy Ghost that brough Jesus into this world. In the propagation of the gospel of Jesus Christ, it is the promise of the Father, the Holy Ghost, that brings Jesus to a lost and perishing world to bring light in darkness and hope to the hopeless. pastor@familyworshipcenterag.org
As there was a question between the people and John's disciples about purification, they also commented, concerning baptism, that all men are going to Jesus. There is an interesting relationship about the question of purification and going to Jesus. www.familyworshipcenterag.org
Jude's message is to contend for the faith and the common salvation. He then goes into the message of judgment and speaks of those who go greedily go after the error of Baalam. God sent Israel to a strange land among idol worshipping people; however, His word was to seek the peace of the land, for in doing so, they would have peace. In a world filled with evil, we, today, do the same thing in seeking the peace that comes through Jesus Christ. For through the peace thereof, we will have peace. pastor@familyworshipcenterag.org
There are times when we may "feel" abandoned by God; however, we should notice that in those times that God's attributes are what gives us strength. Know, not feel, that God is with us by seeing His attributes at work in us. www, familyworshipcenterag.org.
Although the situation is easy for David to be fearful, the sovereignty of God is revealed as He works all things together for Good. God's word/promises are fulfilled. pastor@familyworshipcenterag.org
What appears to be fear in David only proves an action of faith as he goes to Gath to escape Saul. This will turn out to be an action that was led by God and the blessing of being in the place where God leads.
