Joy in the Journey

We are Mak & Syd -- both hosts of the Joy in the Journey Podcast.For years, we have served as a useful source to those seeking inspiration, help, or advice. We finally decided to own that role and be intentional about it.We started talking about our passions, our thoughts, and curious wonderings about our world. We founded JOY IN THE JOURNEY with a mission to give others a taste of what goes on in our mind, and we have been at it ever since. We've known each other as long as we can remember. We met at church were our families both grew up. Syd's parents are both from Mak's hometown. We both talked a little bit when we saw each other at church, but never hung out.We both went our separate ways after high school, but kept in touch over social media. We recently reconnected after going through similar experiences. We ended up talking for 3 hours about past experiences -- leading to us wanting to start this podcast.
