“The people who live the longest, have connections to other people and live with a purpose. .” -Jennifer Roelands

How do we shift the healthcare system's focus towards traditional medicine while still valuing the benefits that medication can provide?

What are the potential risks and benefits of relying too heavily on medication?

In this episode, we have the opportunity to listen to Dr. Jennifer, an integrative women's health and fertility doctor, as she discusses the pervasive societal influence that has led many people to believe that medications are the only solution for healthcare. She offers insights on how to break free from this mindset and instead, provide personalized, holistic care that addresses the root causes of health issues, with the goal of healing, restoring, and empowering women to achieve optimal health.

Dr. Jennifer Roelands is an integrative GYN who specializes in hormone health and is the proud mother of four children. Having suffered from PCOS and hypothyroidism, Dr. Roelands understands the challenges that come with hormonal imbalances. Despite being a doctor herself, she was previously dismissed by other physicians who claimed her lab results were normal, despite experiencing symptoms such as fatigue, hair loss, brain fog, and infertility for over a year. This experience inspired her to dive deeper into nutrition and mind-body medicine, discovering the connection between gut health and hormone health. Dr. Roelands also learned how medications like birth control pills can negatively impact the body by masking symptoms instead of treating the root cause. By focusing on gut health, stress reduction, and the right exercise for her body, she was able to identify the cause of her symptoms, which allowed her to lose weight, clear her skin, feel more rested and energized, and ultimately conceive a child.

Check out these episode highlights:

-Sacrificing a thriving career

-The value of questioning everything

-The need for open communication with patients

“You have to forget what you were taught and learn how to use the money machine.” -Bernard Barchie

How can you eliminate your debt by using insurance?

Would you like to know the best way to pay off your debts and increase your wealth at the same time?

Most people think of life insurance as being about retirement and leaving money to family to pay for your funeral and put closure on your finances. Of course that is relevant but there are so many more opportunities with your insurance policy(s).

Consider it a banking system where you can park money and leverage it to pay bills and make purchases. The life insurance system is designed to use money as loans where you can create your own line of credit. Open multiple policies, perhaps in your company(s) names which is what the big banks do.

It is time to Be Your Own Bank!

In this episode, Bernard teaches us once more how to break free from the preconceived notions we have been taught about banking our money. He will teach us how to manage our finances so that it truly benefits us and does not get sucked into a scheme that is really intended to make us fail.

Check out these episode highlights:
-What is the program that people generally accept to be the norm of banking money
-How to use life insurance policy to build wealth
-How can we better prepare for economic shifts
-How to utilize the banking system to eliminate our debt
-How does having an insurance policy help you pay down debt while building wealth
-The many benefits of using the money machine
-What is it that actually keeps people so stuck and afraid of getting out of the matrix
-The banking system is not design for you to be wealthy

In business, we are often discouraged to embrace our emotions or express ourselves bravely. The reasons for that are many; fear of being judged, not fitting in, being perceived of not being a team player, being hard to get along with or even working against the success of the company. But, what if, through your self-awareness, the relationship you have with yourself actually performs best when you create the conditions to do so. The only way your employer will know how you tick, how you work effectively, and what fosters your greatest achievements is by training them in that awareness.

My guest in this episode is Tiffany Lyons, she specializes in helping employees achieve greater through her Life Experience Audit.

Since science is a study of probabilities, healing happens in the whole field where there is no them; only Us. Ancestral healing can happen quickly, in as little as 3 minutes.

The right/wrong/win/lose paradigm in business and workplace relationships is double-edged.

What we are learning about Childhood Trauma's impact on workplace relationships is alarming. Trauma doesn’t come back as a memory; it comes back as a response and a trigger. The subconscious wounds of Childhood Trauma trigger fight, flight, or freeze, shutting down the language and listening centers.

In this episode with guest Kari O’Driscoll, who heads up The Self Project, we dive deep into relationship dynamics in work and business and the negative impact on productivity, job, life satisfaction, and fulfillment. Relationships provide a learning space for human beings; we learn that we can show up as our authentic selves as we build a relationship. We discover the power in our vulnerability rather than the notion that makes us weak.

Kari is a writer and the founder of The SELF Project, an organization dedicated to improving connections and relationships. She works with families and organizations as they learn to have difficult conversations in new, meaningful ways that can shift us toward creative ways of relating.

In this episode, you can expect to hear:

03:23 - What is the SELF Project and how it started

05:30 - Age range for a teenagers

05:58 - What is socialization years

07:53 - What is unique about the adolescent brain

08:26 - How does trauma affect neural pathways

09:45 - How to create new neural pathways

10:59 - How to repattern your neural pathways

11:56 - The connection between adolescents and the adult clients

17:31 - How people process information differently

30:22 - What is a top-down hierarchy

33:26 - One particular trauma that is predominant when working with adults in the workplace
