This weekly podcast is a platform to discuss and have the conversation going on topics that relate to the African continent or are relevant to us as Africans, especially in these times where things are shifting in the world and Africa is fast moving towards self determination. We therefore believe it is important to bring to light and talk about these relevant topics, as well as grow and learn together. L'Inde, plaque tournante informatique de l'externalisation ou outsourcing de l' informatique occidentale, comptait 1,38 milliard d'habitants en 2020, pour une population Africaine de 1.3 milliard. Donc plus ou moins l’Inde c’est toute l’Afrique.
La Chine, capitale manufacturière du monde, compte 1,4 milliard d'habitants.

India as an IT hub for the west’s IT outsourcing, had a population of 1.38 billion as at 2020, for a population of 1.3 billion in the whole African continent.
China, the manufacturing capital of the world, has a population of 1.4 billion.

So let’s start with this estimate and keep this in mind throughout this discussion. Estimates suggest that 80-90% of sub-Saharan Africa’s cultural heritage (Which is what is called artefacts), is currently held outside the African continent. 80-90%.

Commençons donc par cette estimation et gardons cela à l'esprit tout au long de cette discussion. Les estimations suggèrent que 80 à 90 % du patrimoine culturel de l'Afrique subsaharienne (c'est-à-dire ce qu'on appelle des artefacts), est actuellement détenu en dehors du continent africain. 80-90 %.
Maintenant, qu’est ce qu’un patrimoine culturel. C’est l'expression des modes de vie développés par une communauté et transmis de génération en génération, y compris les coutumes, les pratiques, les lieux, les objets, les expressions artistiques et les valeurs. Le patrimoine culturel est l'héritage d'actifs patrimoniaux matériels et immatériels d'un groupe ou d'une société hérité des générations passées.
Ainsi, pour les Africains subsahariens, ce qui représente notre patrimoine, notre culture, ce qui est censé aider à forger notre identité et nous guider dans ce monde en développement, est détenu par d'autres nations à hauteur de 80 à 90 % de sa totalité.
