A trip up and down the historical Johnsonville railway line.
(Originally a Spectrum doco for RNZ)
Back in the days when 60 year old electric units were rattling up the Johnsonville railway line and RNZ's Spectrum was still a happening thing, they joined forces in a half hour radio programme. This is it.
Written and produced by Doug Coutts as part of a Creative Writing paper at Victoria University in September 2001. By "produced" he means he stood by while one of his heroes, Jack Perkins, did all the hard work.
(A minor note - one of the interviews was recorded on the morning New Zealand woke to the twin towers attack.)
