Your biggest critic is the person staring back at you in the mirror. As human beings we're harder on ourselves about almost everything. And it doesn't help when we can't communicate when something is bothering us effectively. Can you comfortably express when you're not okay? Does that make you weak or is it considered complaining? How's your mental? BE KIND TO YOURSELF.
Too many times we get guilt tripped into thinking that we HAVE to say yes to make other people happy; even when we would rather say no. We talk to people who we're not really interested in; waste of time. We entertain conversations that really don't intrigue us; settling. And we bargain our "yes's" when we really need to tell people NO - no apology necessary.
On this episode Kendra talks about the beauty in blocking people. No one deserves to waste your time and if they waste it, chin up; just make sure you don't give them another minute. It's time to do some cleaning!
Welcome back! KendraLyn kicks off Season 2 with a little chit chat of some recent events, she then dives in to where she's been. Life has definitely been a box of chocolates. On this episode of NYTRS, KendraLyn J. digs deep with the hard hitting question of who's really the problem; us or them? Why does it seem like the good girls always finish last? And why is it so hard for men these days to be decent human beings? Grab your wine, it's time to vent.
