Anthony uses the fact that he's the host of a relationship podcast to watch all the crazy relationship shows on TV.  One trend he's been noticing is that several of the young participants of these reality shows have NEVER been in serious relationships. Being in reality TV relationships doesn't give you the emotional intelligence to deal with serious relationships. Plus, what constitutes a serious relationship in terms of duration?  For a young person in their early thirties it's considered a red flag not having been in more than 3 relationships that lasted 6 months or more.  There are cultural changes in the new generations regarding dating and relationships.  This new generation doesn't get into a lot of serious relationships like the older generations did - it seems they hop around less intimate relationships that don't last too long. Could it be that the new technologies and dating apps have affected the way young people have relationships nowadays, and influence how long these relationships last?  Listen to this episode to find out if you have enough serious relationship experience to get married or if you're one of the young ones who switch partners as often as they change clothes.

This episode starts out with Anthony reciting some old school poetry from Mr. Wiggles, the song from Parliament. Queen Nina is getting ready to make a trip around the world and when she returns she'll be filled with new experiences and observations to share on the podcast. Everyone knows Tom Brady is the GOAT and his skill is unmatched. However, the recent divorce rumors have been concerning - what could be the factors that led to it? When Gisele married Tom, did she know who she was "getting in bed" with, and that the football was the first wife and she was just the "side chick"?

Once you marry someone, can you force them to stop doing what they love doing? Is it fair to give someone an ULTIMATUM to put the marriage first? Some tough and complex issues regarding relationships and priorities are raised in this episode. Listen in to ponder whether you're just in an affair with your spouse and you're actually married to your career.

Anthony is outnumbered when he welcomes Queen Nina and Queen Tones Motivates back to discuss the acceptable levels of complaint in a relationship that seems perfect.

Does having a good man who provides and is attentive to the family enough to invalidate any complaint a woman might have about the relationship?  Is being a responsible man who steps up to the plate when it comes to being a good husband and a good father simply not enough for women nowadays who seem to just want more and more and will complain about anything?  Plus, would women who have the perfect man in the perfect relationship still complain about something?  The girls claim there is always room to grow together, and that it's not always about being a provider or a good father, but about the quality of the relationship.
Join the gang in this lengthy debate discussing the several factors of what makes a healthy relationship and learn a thing or two about taking a man for granted.

Anthony and Queen Nina start out this episode with a little bit of movie trivia and some interesting facts and opinions about The Color Purple, and the fact that many people think it was made by a black director instead of Steven Spielberg.  On to the real discussion: is it important for women to have a label in a relationship?  Nina goes into what women really want from a relationship, and they both discuss a situation from one of the previous hosts, Tone.  What makes a relationship, and what makes it official?  Is living together and regularly being intimate with each other enough to be considered an official relationship?  And why do so many people (especially men) fail to introduce the person they're with as their official boyfriend/girlfriend?  How many dates would it take for a couple to be considered mutually exclusive?  The debate ensues as too what is the specific criteria to define the labels of a relationship.  Listen to this episode to get some critical insights into relationship labels and how much it takes to be official in these modern times.

In this episode Anthony and Queen Nina discuss the question of why is it that men rule the relationship, but women rule the marriage? And is there a difference between marriage and the relationship?  Is it that men control the relationship before the marriage, but after the "I do" then the woman is in charge? They discuss the idea that women are the gatekeepers of sex, while the men are the gatekeepers for marriage, and what that boils down to.  They revisit the topic of the different criteria that men and women have for finding a significant other, whereas women prefer someone who can provide security and are intellectually mature enough to be mentally engaging, while it seems that most men just want some young child-bearing hips and don't really care about how smart women are.  Listen to the episode to learn about some interesting theories as to why some common stereotypes about men and women might actually make sense.

Do women ask too many questions?  Queen Nina thinks it's just a matter of men not saying enough, but maybe it's just that there just isn't that much information available to begin with and there's just no point insisting.  Anthony takes Nina on a few examples of some cases where there just ISN'T any more info available, but Nina keeps on playing the 20 question game, but to no avail.   A heavy discussion then begins about communication and feelings, and how those play into the relationships and how stressful it might be for women when they don't feel appreciated enough to be told the important things.  And do most men have trouble communicating while women over-communicate?  Plus, Nina gives a lesson on how to distinguish a compliment from a catcall and how it plays into breaking the ice with a woman.  The team revisit Nina's obsession with Idris Elba.  Also, Mr. Jay once again jumps at the chance to holla at Nina.   Please Pray for Tom, he was in a bad wreck!

THIS IS A BEST OF EPISODE!--He said, SHE said. Relationship talk from the experts -- REAL MEN & WOMEN.Are you a Mr. FIX It? Always trying to fix your woman’s problems when she tells them to you? What if you just sit back, listen, and do nothing about it? It might seem cruel, but maybe that’s what she wants. In this episode of the 90-10 Rule, Anthony and Lady D discuss the Mr. FIX It syndrome and why it needs to die. Should you change the way you think like a man to accommodate your woman or should it be the other way around? “If you need to know how a man’s thinking, ask a man; if you need to know what a woman’s thinking, you ask a woman.” [15:40]Episode Timeline:• [0:52] Intro• [1:00] Your man or your girlfriend…should he always try to fix it?• [6:51] Why can’t women accompany their men to their favorite activities?• [8:40] Engage or entice your woman to accompany you• [11:22] How women think vs. how men think • [15:40] Ask a man about a man and a woman about a man • [19:23] The two-way benefits of listening and not fixing

In this episode Queen Nina gets a quick lesson on how James Brown created funk. Anthony hates the holidays, but we discover it may be due to some childhood trauma. Despite their anniversary being tomorrow, Anthony still hasn’t bought his wife a gift, but he's cocksure about his gift buying skills, and boastfully believes that he is the best gift giver out of all his friends. Nina, on the other hand, doesn’t give gifts, but instead prefers to give memorable experiences (like getting drunk and going bowling - or something!). Why do women celebrate their birthday throughout the entire month? It’s like for them it’s more than just a holiday, but a “holimonth”. (Nina even lost a job because they disagreed with her excessive and extravagant personal celebration policy). Anthony has never had a big celebration on his birthday, and perhaps that's one of the reasons he hates holidays (other than the fact that they’re mandatory), but his long-time wish would be to go on a 21 day cruise with close friends. Plus, this episode gives birth to the Ruler’s plans for the 90-10 Rule Birthday Bash, which is a big trip on a cruise ship with all the hosts, fans and friends. Will we be able to party like Anthony and Will partied with Quest Love at the podcast convention? Listen in to find out!

Good news! - The Rule is in the top 5% of all podcasts! The Rulers still have a little homework to do, though: recruit three of your friends to subscribe and listen to our podcast! And ask your friends to tell THEIR friends - If we can do that through the next three months we can reach the “big dog” numbers. Why are women always trying to change men? Nina argues that they’re merely emphasizing that there’s room for improvement and that is actually a sign of caring, which makes the relationship better (allegedly). Do women help each other look prettier? Anthony clarifies that is one thing that men DON’T do, despite whatever Nina believes. The hosts share previous experiences where people tried to change/improve others and how it ultimately worked out for everyone involved.Listen to the episode to find out how to keep your partner from changing you, or maybe even how to change YOUR partner.Support the show (https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=DHTUKZWHR8XXY)

Can guys even compliment women anymore? The woman can accept it as much as she wants to, up until the point she doesn’t accept it anymore, but she needs to let the man know if she’s uncomfortable. The tricky thing is that the line is different for each person. There's a myriad of reasons for the Me Too movement, which includes a lot of power play, people who couldn't get jobs or promotions without explicit sexual favors in return, a lot of inappropriate stuff but also a lot of gray areas. Nina shares her experience about how she lost a job for saying something inappropriate to someone, and was forced to resign without knowing whether or not she was really in the wrong or even who she said what to. Listen to the episode to find out more about the hosts' experiences with inappropriate situations and how you can stay appropriate in the workplace or defend yourself from inappropriate behavior.
