Pastor Jeffrey Walter is a firm believer in the fact that faith ought to be reasonable, and that man cannot come to genuine faith except through the process of reason and the genuine practise of what is to be believed. It is his vision to see a Christianity that truly changes man and practically produces in him love for the Lord and the neighbour: which will undoubtedly lead to the transformation of society.
God does not relate with His creation outside of the purpose for which they were created. Everyone was created with a unique purpose. We are only able to walk in this purpose when we submit ourselves to God. How can we be mindful of this purpose? What must we do so that the Lord can form us into the unique vessels He intends for each of us to be?
In this message titled 'A Goodly Heritage', Pastor Andrews Krampah teaches that all of God's effort is to get us to fulfil the holy purpose for which He made us. He explains that in accordance with God's divine purpose, He organises us under leadership and in fellowship with the brethren. It is not by chance that we have come into contact with the true Word of God; rather, it is by the Lord's divine orchestration. We have a future in the Lord and He is building us into that future.

Unlike man, God is happy and excited when we depend on Him for everything. Having created us in His image and likeness, He desires a relationship of dependency from us, where our very being (will and understanding) stems from His Being. Much more than the outcomes we desire from Him, God primarily wants us to trust in His will and in His wisdom (His desire and approach), by which the outcomes we seek will eventually be delivered.

Man is strong willed and would want to seek God on his terms. This “puffed up” seeking of God lacks a genuine recognition of man’s desperate need for God. There are times when the enemy must be allowed to come after the Word of God we have received. This attempt often leads to the internal pressure and afflictions we experience in times of adversity or temptation. To truly overcome such tribulations, it is imperative that we align with the Eternal Will of God. What then, is the Will of God for us concerning the sufferings we endure?

In line with God's eternal will (purpose), men are destined to become angels in the afterlife. To become this, men must first be rid of their selfish (carnal) desires. Through adversities permitted by God, He trains men to assume His Divine essence.
In this message, “Siding with God”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter admonishes on the need for us to side with God in our adversities, rather than seeking for Him to be on our side. He goes on to explain what being on God's side entails, emphasising the need for us to be open to the specific things that He has to teach us, and not what we would rather prefer to learn. Furthermore, he expounds on how God uses adversities as a tool to train men to be useful in this life and in the afterlife (angels).
Beloved, don't seek immediate relief from your adversities. Rather, seek to be trained by the Lord in the midst of your troubles. Choose to be on God's side, no matter the cost! .

Man, throughout life’s journey, is constantly in pursuit of the desires that bring him the most satisfaction (treasures). These desires control the very essence of his life, and their pursuit is of invaluable worth to him. But how can man know which desires of his are truly treasures worth pursuing in this life?

The natural senses is a strong compelling force that reminds us of the challenges and limitations we face in this material world. It presents strong reasonings that keep us focused on the troubles of this life, forbidding hope and trust in God's Word.
God, on the other hand, has an entirely different perspective of the difficulties we face. Through revelational knowledge (the Spirit of truth), He calls us to enter into His realm of endless possibilities. There, we will recognise that indeed, “His thoughts are not our thoughts, neither are our ways, His ways.” They are so much higher (superior)!

The Lord is steadfast in His endeavor to bring deliverance to mankind. He sends forth His Word (the prophet) to deliver man from Egypt (the false understanding by which men are kept in the bondage of their evils) into the Promised Land (man’s inheritance in the Lord). By the power of that same Word, He keeps man perpetually from the bondage of sin. But how can a man be assured of the complete deliverance promised him by the Word of God that he has received?

God is Love: He is in a perpetual endeavor to do good to all men. All of His provision is inherent in His love. Certainly, God yearns for every man to come to the place of faith where he can receive all the benefits His love offers. But how can man come into the true knowledge and experience of God’s love for him?

God's love is unconditional, unmerited, unwavering and everlasting. It is of Love’s nature to give what belongs to it, so that others may partake of its goodness. For that matter, God who is Love, reveals or manifests Himself unto us, so that we may partake of His Divine nature. Thus, the revelation of God gives us an appreciation of His love for us. In our spiritual journey, we must seek to know the Lord beyond external knowledge (information obtained through natural senses), so that we may experience the revelation of who He truly is in the spirit (internal knowledge). The Lord wills to teach us anew in the spirit, the things we already know externally; He desires to communicate with us in the spirit about Himself. But how do we attain this knowledge of the Lord in the spirit? How do we truly discern the voice of the Lord from within and then proceed to live according to this spiritual knowledge?

Why am I so troubled by the enemy? How come things don't work out well for only me? What is the purpose of my struggles? Does God not see my tears? Does He not care that I perish?

This scripture describes a Christian’s inheritance in the Lord. Clearly, God's provision for man's needs is without question. However, man's problem is his difficulty in accessing this inheritance. One solution the Lord provides is a Sacrament: the Holy Communion.

When the hellish influence (activities of evil spirits, devils and demons) is at play in us, our choices and actions are devilish because they stem from evil thoughts and affections.
The works of devils in us are always destructive. They:
- Make us act out of order/reason
- Manifest bodily in all manner of physical infirmities such as mental sicknesses.
- Shut out the power of God within us; i.e., it is kept from manifesting outwardly so that others are blocked from being blessed by it.
- Warp our perception and desires so that we are inclined to align with wrong choices and reasonings.
- Make abnormal things appear normal.
…. but God can help us. Hallelujah! When God steps in, order can be restored. The light of God’s truth can shine through our minds so that we can see clearly. We can then will and choose the way of God freely, unhindered by the forces of darkness that once held us bound.

Regeneration (the process by which God saves man) is a lifelong process. The extent to which a man is regenerated is the extent to which he is influenced by angels or demons . This is because man is but a vessel, and hence lives from angelic or demonic influences according to his affections (what he loves).
To wit, every man is under some form of demonic oppression.

What did Jesus mean when He said this?
In the life of a man in bondage, there comes a pivotal moment, when he is stirred up to break free from his bondage or evil. This stirring up is likened to hearing the cry, “Prepare ye the way of the Lord!” (i.e., the state of John the Baptist). This voice calls a man to rise up and make his journey towards freedom. However, in an attempt to respond to such an awakening, the man must be cautious not to go ahead of the Lord, or employ his own wisdom to break free. There’s an approach and understanding we ought to have towards our deliverance. What characterises this approach?

God created man to partake of His Divine nature so that he would have a heavenly identity and operate as God's representative on earth.
Unfortunately, man loses this identity (becomes scattered) when he yields to evil. However, God is perpetually committed to ensuring that man's true identity is restored.

Such a man's will is submitted to God, and he becomes a vessel for God’s expression. Separated from God, a man self-destructs and becomes an instrument by which others are also destroyed.

Everyone is born with inherited evils (tendencies) based on their bloodline. Although these evil tendencies are not held against us, we must stay exceptionally wary of them, because as stumbling blocks, they actively hover around to constantly lay traps for us until we engage in them. As we engage in these evils, iniquity is established in our hearts. The presence of the iniquity becomes yet another stumbling block that now hinders our access to God. When the iniquity is unrepented of, we fall into a cyclical affliction.

A great and wondrous inheritance has been prepared for every man who walks in obedience to God. Hallelujah! The Lord truly wants us to have these beautiful treasures. Yet, the challenge we face is that these treasures are spiritually discerned. They are revealed only by the Spirit of God. Limited by our physical senses, we have absolutely no chance of perceiving them naturally. This is why traveling from the natural senses into the Spirit is critical. Like blind Bartimaeus, we must relentlessly put in persistent effort to make contact with God in the Spirit, if we truly desire to see.

There is a higher knowledge of the existence of God that makes a person subject to God. Mankind was made by the Lord with spiritual faculties to receive impulses and impressions from the spirit realm to interpret the natural events of this world.
Who can access this higher realm: is it the Evil Man, the one who prefers his interest to that of God and His kingdom, or the Good Man, who eschews evil but still subjects to sensual interpretations of life, or the Spiritual Man, who has made contact with the Spirit of God?
Repentance from dead works, represented by the baptism of John ought to usher one into the baptism of Jesus, where he/she makes contact with the Spirit.
Clearly, the baptism of John, which is of water (natural truth/doctrine) alone does not grant access to the Spirit of truth (Knowledge beyond the senses). How then does the baptism of Christ Jesus, which is of the Holy Ghost and fire, influence this access?

Divine Providence is the provision that God makes so that the spiritual and material universe can be governed by him. Its purpose is the salvation of the souls of men, and the formation of heaven from the human race. Nothing beats this priority. God is constantly making provision and orchestrating events, to ensure that our spiritual transformation is guaranteed. However, the operation of God’s providence remains unseen by man, at the time when it is in action. It is important that it remains so, in order to preserve the freewill of man. God’s Divine Providence is only perceived by man in hindsight. How then can he take advantage of this unseen, yet constant help offered by God?

With a tendency to judge matters only from the natural standpoint, we often err in our estimation of ourselves, the situations we deal with, and the true state of our relationship with God. God's perspective, however, is totally different from ours, and we are often shocked to discover this.
The awakening of who we truly are in the Lord's eyes begins as we strive to apply ourselves to His Word. As we do this, as if by our own might, the Lord who alone is the Potter, steps in to mould and build us up as His masterpiece. The trying and unpleasant process of being moulded by the Lord is likened to the pains of a woman in labour. However, as we travail, the promise we hold on to from the Lord is that we will surely bring forth. He is the Potter; we are the marred clay, and as such, we must be willing to surrender to His processes, however painful.

Every spiritual height to be attained begins with a small desire introduced to us by God. This initial desire comes to meet our own contrary desires ruling us. For this God-given desire to birth forth the glorious life promised, it must become our true desire. The inception of this spiritual desire prescribes a certain way of living (i.e., changes in attitudes), so that it can build up into true desire. Since this new way of living threatens the position of our own contrary desires, there will always be a pushback. Thus, the small spiritual desire introduced can die out. Therefore, it is very important that our affections are purged through a series of temptations. For the purging to succeed, the spiritual practices we engage in must build in us, patience, where nothing is able to stop us from going in the right direction. Hence, the need for consistency in every spiritual pursuit.

Although the Lord’s first manifestation to man is through doctrine (i.e., the letter of the Word), every man who receives doctrine must go on to actively pursue the spirit of that truth/word (i.e., seek the Lord’s second manifestation). This is because it is in the Spirit that the Lord is ultimately manifested. It is this Word in the Spirit which completely saves a man.
The process of contacting the Word in the Spirit begins with a man’s obedience to the Word of God. Through this process, the Lord's blood (i.e., the supply of His Spirit) takes effect, and we receive remission for our sins (i.e., evils are removed from our hearts). Light from heaven then shines through our natural understanding of truth and brings us into a personal knowledge of truth in the Spirit. This spiritual knowledge of truth positions us to produce good works. Every man, to the extent that he has obeyed God or walked with God, can ask the Lord for His Spirit (i.e., the blood) to manifest good works.

This should be the disposition of every Christian, who desires to be used by the Lord. Such a person must be willing to go through the process of discipleship, which will qualify him or her to have a pure appreciation of the Lord’s Kingdom and what He seeks to do in the earth. This process, which entails applying the Word of God lawfully in every aspect of life, purges a man's desire to truly work for the Lord. A man whose desires have been purged by the Lord has a proper hunger for righteousness and thus, desires good, first in himself, and then in others also. There is no short-cut to this. Discipleship births apostleship.
No matter how challenging this may seem, the Lord’s promise to us is that He will not send us away fasting – no genuine and persistent desire of man to be used by the Lord, will go unattended to.

However, the man under the influence of hell feels helpless in the presence of the Word of God. Although he may agree that instructions from the word are beneficial, he may still find himself unable to find the will to obey these instructions. If man is furnished with freewill continually from the Lord, why may a person feel woefully inadequate to go in the direction of the Word of God? From whence do we find strength to fulfil the requirements of God?

Romans 7:14-25
There is an eternal clarion call by the Lord. It is a call to all men to become spiritual. All men begin their spiritual journey from the wilderness (which is man's state when the Lord is not actively present). Even in the wilderness, the clarion call is heard through doctrine, which instructs the man on the path of repentance (i.e., the turning away from evils). Inherent in doctrine is the power to obey God's instructions; for apart from God, man can do nothing.

Do you believe that the Lord God is the Creator? Obviously, many Christians would say an emphatic, "Yes" to this question. The complexity of the human mind is such that, different truths combine with different affections under unique circumstances for a person to come to a particular conclusion, or to make a vow, or to be inspired or to make a course correction. This cannot be orchestrated by the man himself. Thus, when God wants to transform and form us into vessels that would reveal His Glory, He sets us up gradually by diverse arguments from the Word. He lays down all the logistics required for us to inherit the promise in the Word. This includes even our desire for righteousness and strength to follow after Him. When man is left on his own, he calls what nourishes his selfish interests good. The Word of God that comes to man in the form of doctrine redefines what is good from God’s perspective. For the man’s rational mind to be reformed, he must intend the GOOD prescribed by God; making his life’s primary pursuit about this good. This choice is made against what he called good prior. The intermediate level of his mind is also affected when the man abandons his old habits to embrace truths/ways by which the good will be accomplished. Demonic attacks can be categorized into natural anxieties and spiritual anxieties. Natural anxieties result from the fear of loss of the natural life or things pertaining to it while the spiritual anxieties result from the fear of loss of the spiritual life (which constitute temptations).
Usually, our approach to fighting natural anxieties is to move to secure our natural possessions. This approach is not effective in alleviating natural anxieties and only ends up frustrating us. This is because what makes natural anxieties possible with us is our love for self and the world. Thus, the only way we can overcome them is by giving up those loves (i.e., through repentance).

Those who love and seek God, by virtue of their freewill, submit their will and understanding to be filled with the Divine Love and Divine Wisdom respectively. To such, God becomes their God and they become proper men. Those who love themselves and the world, shut out the Lord by misinterpreting the Word in line with their carnal desires. Thus, the purer our desire, the purer we receive the truth of God’s Word.

And these are the core and of every civilisation; without which no civilisation would be established.

Divine order cannot be circumvented. For a person to receive from God, their heart must be set on God. The one whose heart (desires) is set on the world detests everything of God. Since the rendezvous point of our reception of God is in the heart, the heart that loves the world has no room for what is of God and can therefore not receive from God. However, our state of glorification is not permanent because we are in the flesh. The internal awareness of truth (revelation) we come to in the state of glorification also shows us an outlet for it to run its full course with us.

Since most of the happenings around us are not within our control, our greatest asset is the kind of person we are in the unsavoury situation. And this is what God does for us: builds us (inner self) up to be formidable to withstand any kind of adversity. He does this through His Word. The Word of God is the only thing that has what it takes to supply and internally construct us with inner fortitude, composure, sanity, serenity and hope. It is only the Word that is able to make one sane and alright even when their surrounding is out of control. It is what will supply you with inner fortitude to keep grinding at the mill even when result does not seem eminent. When the pressures of life are crushing in, it is the Word that will keep you composed. It is what will help you keep your basal urges under control. It is all you need for life.

That is, the glory of the Word that shall be revealed in the rebuilding of the temple shall be greater than the former. Life is full of difficult experiences and bad encounters and giving ourselves over to the negative aftermath and trauma leaves us open to demonic influence which leads us to form wrong conclusions about God, people and ourselves.
We must begin to take active steps after recognising this fact, to not succumb to the negative effects of such experiences but look to the Lord for help.
God's desire to flow towards us is without a decision. That is to say that, God by His nature is in a constant perpetual state of giving Himself freely unto whoever has room for Him.
For this reason, if the presence of God or His will is not found in us, there is definitely a resistance to the flow of God, and it needs to be broken.
In this message, we are made aware of the resistance and are being called to take drastic actions against it.

Beloved, the Lord would not have us ignorant of the existence of demonic forces and its operations (Ephesians 6:12, 1 Peter 5:8). More often than not, we find our minds being filled with thoughts and our hearts filled with desires that derail us from good actions we must do and rather urge us toward evil conduct. These thoughts do not originate from us but are a result of the demonic forces from hell relentlessly working to take us away from the will of God.
Similarly, when we realize the presence of good and noble thoughts in our minds, we must know that these thoughts are also not generated by us but from the hosts of angels and good spirits who seek to supply us with what is Good and True in the Lord.
Having a proper understanding of these two opposing forces and their impact on us, brings us a step closer to knowing what fights us in our pursuit of God and puts us back on the path to victory.

Through these Divine Encounters, the Lord makes His abode in us and dwells in us. He makes us His Unique Vessels (2 Timothy 2:20,21).
The Lord also desires that through our Divine Encounters, we become a people (Kingdom of Priests) through whom Divine Wisdom operates to bring Good (the Will of God) to all men.
In this Series Divine Encounter, we learn about the Lord's purposes and intent for us in living the Christian life, which goes beyond the struggle of overcoming in temptations, to living life from the Truth implanted in us.

It is the Lord's earnest desire that He may fill us with His Spirit (the Divine Operation), to function in us and through us. Throughout our life in the Earth, through the process of regeneration, we must recognize that we cannot live without the Lord. We must also aspire that as we allow the Lord to lead us, we will find our place in His Divine work in the Earth and engage all the abilities He endues us with to achieve His Divine Purposes. As the Spirit of God leads us, we find out that all the expressions of the Divine Mindset we may give individually, all factor into a bigger plan.
