Over the years I've noticed a lack of clarification with regard to our place in the Animal Kingdom. Many Christians curriculums lack a detailed explanation of where we fit in the Animal Classification Chart. In this episode, I'll discuss a conversation our homeschool group had about this very topic. God has clearly provided an explanation to our identity, where it rests, and who it resides in. Some may already know the answer to the question: Are Humans Mammals (or Animals)?, but many of us may not know how to describe it to our children, students, family, or friends. In our conversation we discuss what AHG is all about, their beliefs, motto, message, methods, and service. This troop is growing and accepts new troops throughout the year. If you want your daughter in involved in a faith-based, patriot filled, Christ-centered social organization, Brooke's troop is for you! In this episode I'll discuss some of the reasons parents choose to homeschool. Obviously, we care about our kids just as much as public school parents do, but there are valid reasons outside of the primary reason that we feel called to take this 180 degree turn towards educating out children.

Ever wonder how you can homeschooling freely in such a corrupt state? In this episode, I'll break down all the aspects of homeschooling in California. Don't be discouraged, California is actually a great place to homeschool! We have very low regulations and in my 17 years of homeschooling, I've never had a problem! I'm thankful to live in such a beautiful state and I'll remain here to support homeschoolers as long as I have breath in my lungs. Today we'll discuss the responsibility of parents in their child's education and the importance of a Homeschool Vision.
After participating in a few education expos to help families exit the government schools, I noticed the same 5 topics were addressed. They’re more like 5 misunderstandings/myths/fallacies/etc. that new homeschooling parents believe.
So, to flip the narrative, we’re going to unpack 5 truths parents need to understand and more importantly believe with all their heart, mind, and soul to start this new journey with a strong foundation.
