Sometimes to find the peace we need to take a step away and do for ourselves, to give ourselves respite.
I had a few moments alone this weekend and I realized how I wanted that peaceful healing feeling I get, when I am alone, around other people. I haven't come to any answers yet but I am looking forward to working through some of the insights I had about myself from my journaling and interactions with my daughter today.
I have done some intense journal work this week and have finally discovered that by setting boundaries and journaling through my scars every day I deactivate living in my survival mode.
Hello! I have some deep insights from working through the de-activating of my survival mode this week. I am learning how to give to and nurture myself. Thank you for taking the time out of your life to listen and I hope it helps you find great insights into your own life.
Welcome back! Season one was a bit of a mess! This season will be more organized, with an episode Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Each week will focus on one of the areas I am working on within my journal and healing process.
This week I am talking about my survival mode and how I discovered I have been living in it my whole life and that I create destruction in my life when I am in good places because 'safety' feels foreign.
It has been 6 weeks since I journaled and even though I didn't feel it right away my warning signs were trying to tell me that my self-care needed to happen. I want to get to a point where I can take part in the things I love and enjoy without a feeling of guilt around taking the time for myself. To view my self-care as a reward and not a punishment.
I have started my intermittent fasting journey again with new knowledge, passion, and drive. This process has also opened me up to learning more about my own body functions and how grateful I am to have a safe and happy home life. Recommended book: Fast, Feast, Repeat by Gin Stephens.

Knowing who we are and how we respond to stress is vital in living a happy and balanced life. Make sure to check out the app Co-Star and The Pattern, these are great tools in helping you get to know yourself on very deep levels.
Today I am feeling done. I am at peace with how things are happening and am trying to actively choose peace and harmony over being right. The big thing I need to let go of right now is the illusions of what I 'think' is right. My illusions are that people are working against me, or being unfaithful. But the truth of it is that these are my false illusions because I became accustomed to living in toxic situations.
So many times in life I have dreamt of living in a traveling caravan-type tribe. Where we all lean on each other and give each other the support and help that we need while migrating across the planet. I am also being called to organize my products and create a shop! So many exciting things because I am taking the steps instead of staying in place because it is scary.
It is on days like today that I realize how much of my energy I waste on anxiety, worries, and my own inner dialogues. Today is a good day, no worries or stresses are plaguing my mind. The issues are still there, but I am not focusing on them today and I have so much energy to do other things!
I am exhausted and don't want to do anything! But I did journal and found that my wealth lies in my family and at the end of the day the money really doesn't matter.

I wanted to share with you all my journey during the peak of the Lion's Gate yesterday as well as some current things I am struggling with. I hope you are all well and that you take away some knowledge from my sharing.

Today had a focus on self-love and my path in life, as well as a sign to go on a spiritual journey.
Today the main message I got while journaling is that we must walk away from what isn’t’ serving us.
In today’s episode I will be getting down and dirty sharing parts of myself that I am not very proud of. Why? Because I think we need to share more. Share the ways we are toxic and why. Share when we are disappointed and let down. We need to share the uncomfortable as much as we share the fun, joy, laughter, and accomplishment. There has to be balance.
We live in a society where we are taught that being selfish is a bad thing, and within my own life, I can see how I have allowed this belief to run in the background causing me to over-commit my energy.
I found a truth that I have been trying to ignore for quite some time. I am still looking for a home, my sense of belonging, and my tribe.
Today we have a special guest who graces us with a song. During my journal today I was focusing on what I want my life to look like, and what I am manifesting. The word that related to all I want is Freedom.
Over the past few days of journaling and sharing, I have come to a point where I need to give my mind a little breather. When working through things that are heavy on our hearts or that create within us many emotions it is good to take a breather and let your mind take up some empty space, or to have gratitude for all the things in our lives.
warning that this episode may run very emotional and have some graphic content that you may not want everyone to hear in regard to sexual abuse and our government systems. I will try my very best to keep my language PG, but I can get passionate.
