“Life is a vagary and I can be too.” I’m a 20 something year old, black woman in America, trying to find her voice in this world, while learning to accept and comfortably sit in the ride of life, navigating and wandering through its vagaries. I share those experiences here along with my desires and whatever else. Either way, we’re chillin here and you should be too.

Last year in November I recorded this episode with Viv where we reminisced on our past times together as friends and roommates at one point. We also discuss our thoughts on the topic of FWBs. Viv dishes about her experiences with it as I try to decide whether that’s an option I want to make open for myself.
P.s. We met in 2018 not 2016! (This will make sense as you listen to the stories we tell.)

Centuries later I am finally uploading another episode to my podcast and I’m getting REAL comfortable on this one. Been nervous to post, but I’m putting my business out there possibly for a greater good.
Topic of this one is about what my attachment to the current closest friends in my life has made me realize about myself in general when it comes to relationships… I believe the people in my life have qualities to them that are the most compatible for me, therefore what I’m ultimately looking for in a partnership… an actual romantic partnership. I get super mushy gushy about those people in my life right now and share some personal anecdotes and my perspective about it. Enjoy!
And let me know if you’re feeling where I’m coming from or am I just some kind of dummy?!?

I'm telling the story of my journey in school... so far, because my journey is not yet over. But it's a new year, and I'm gonna begin a new semester at my school, and I sit here reflecting on what I've done so far just to get to this place. To most people, this might not seem like a big deal, but to me, this is becoming an accomplishment. To say I've made it this far as someone who has always struggled in school is a big deal to me. I've tried to give up so many times, so why am I still here, choosing the struggle?
I'm sharing my story to encourage those who listen not to give up. If there is something you are thinking about doing but haven't because it is gonna be difficult or what ever the reason is, let my story be the encouragement you have been needing. Be a Badass and just do it... at least give it a try.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted an episode on this podcast and so I decided to try something new out where I briefly share my current thoughts and reasons as to why I’ve had a bit of difficulty creating. This is a very short episode but it’s a very raw and necessary taping of my current mental state as of right now January 16, 2021. This may not be everyone’s cup of tea. For those of you who choose to listen, thank you. I hope you can understand and even relate to at least some of the things I briefly touch on.
Relax with me on today’s episode as I tell you about the sappy situation I put myself in when it came to a guy I liked. With all the signs pointing to him not being that into me, I held on to our history, his past actions, and the potential of him. I couldn’t get him out of my mind for the longest time until I realized he has been with someone else this entire time. I fooled myself y’all! I had a real “shaking my head” moment this week.
Have you ever been in a situation like this? Do you remember the feelings it brought you? I’m also gonna talk about how I will move differently in the future and what I’m gonna start doing to make sure I don’t let myself do that again.
I’m putting my business out there and telling my story as an example to use to show others that we gotta do better to ourselves and hold our expectations for men at a higher standard and so much more. Stick around to get all the tea!

My sister Tobi and I Watched Netflix's new film, Cuties, directed by Maïmouna Doucouré, over the weekend. I decided it might be interesting for us to discuss the film. So this is a commentary regarding our thoughts on the film, the response it is getting, and whether or not we believe this film should exist and be seen.

On this episode, I am joined by my sister Tobi, who will be a recurring guest on the show. We have a conversation about our childhood, growing up, moving around a lot, and how that narrative has shaped the perspectives we have today. We reflect on the pros and cons to it, and we also briefly discuss how it may shape how we choose to live our individual lives as we get older and more in control of it. Are we gonna be seeking stability as end goal or will we never fully reach it because we're so used to unstable living (like nomads)? Tune in and find out!
