This week, we welcome Dr. Marius Schönberger as our esteemed guest on EduTech Xp. Marius is extensively experienced in the fields of information systems, business administration and computer science. We talk to him about the opportunities of AI in education, and add to the growing discourse on how higher education institutions can adopt AI tools in their educational practices, withoutcompromising on ethical aspects.
Educational Psychologist and PhD researcher at Saarland University - Kristin Altmeyer provides valuable insights into the various methods of measuring cognitive load, and how a device as simple as a pen can be used to assess learners' cognitive load. She also finishes the episode with some brilliant recommendations for existing and budding researchers.
