Gender norms can be highly associated or linked with peer pressure since it is an immediate source of interaction after home. Child can take pressure from their peers in restructuring their gender norms and shapes certain gender concepts that are unnecessary and restrictive.

Using of language plays a very crucial role in gender sensitivity as it helps in avoiding gender exclusion and discrimination. Hence, we should be gender neutral, gender inclusive and gender fair when it comes to use of languge regarding gender sensitivity.
Peer socialization can contribute in large to gender development where they experience within their peers and the institution of family teach their children about how they ought to act for being a particular gender. We may think this is not a bigger issue but there are certain problems associated to it, where people ascribe gender to their children. They should be let free from ascribing such gender norms.
Peer pressure can also be attributed to positive sides. We often make errors about peer pressure being always negative and adverse but it can contribute to enhancing positive thoughts and decisions. This episode will cover the positive aspects of peer pressure on reinforcing gender equality and what would be subsequent consequences of it.
Gender socialization happens at an early age in almost every society. They are guided by societal norms and they ought to act in what is expected of. Peer can also influence gender socialization which can ultimately give rise to gender stereotypes (This is what we need to advocate on, gender socialization and stereotypes should not be mandated). Even when child grows up, they tend to believe what they have learned through their socialization agents.
The episode contains basic education on types of peer pressure and problems associated with it. Since it is our first episode we also put forward some of the primary and secondary objectives of the awareness content. It is a social service project that is intended towards making a change.
