Truth #12 – God often requires those who believe his promises to wait much longer than expected for their fulfillment. Truth #13 – No matter what our circumstances say, the word of God will prove true if we have faith.
It might suit God’s purpose to reveal the reason for your troubles, if you inquire of him.
We should pray for wisdom in every circumstance because what we need even more than wisdom is to have God working with us.
No challenge is too great, no question too difficult, when you pray for wisdom from the revealer of mysteries.
When you understand that you pray for wisdom from the Creator of your mind, your faith increases.
James 1 says a double-minded person will not receive anything from the Lord. Here is how to develop the faith you need.
When you pray for wisdom earnestly, you signal to God that you mean business and believe he is your true source.
God is holy because it is true and right for God to receive all glory and to protect the glory of his name.
To say God is holy is to say he is the sovereign king who always does what is right and just. In fact, his character and will are the yardstick of righteousness and justice, and he will not compromise that standard for anyone.
Who wants food with a long list of artificial ingredients? Who wants corrupt politicians? Who wants polluted air and water? Pure is good.
To say God is holy is to say he is absolutely pure, meaning he is uncontaminated by any trace of evil.
You may have loved ones who have passed away from COVID or some other disease, even though you prayed much and had strong faith for their recovery. If you are feeling disillusioned and having trouble praying, here are important truths that can restore your full faith.

When God describes himself as holy, it means he is the one we must treat with ultimate reverence and even with appropriate fear. Of all that exists, he is the one who is not merely sacred, but most sacred.

How is your faith doing? Are you confident God hears and answers your prayers? Are you confident your prayers have great power?

Prayer and faith have great power!
Prayer and faith can change the situations we most want changed. Prayer can heal the sick, open the door to jobs and projects, provide needed wisdom for perplexing challenges, transform people bound in sin, save lost souls, set people free from addictions, rescue broken relationships, and lift people from fear, depression, despair, and darkness.
In theory we all love the truth. We want truth and truthfulness from most everyone in the world. But in reality there are circumstances when each of us can firmly oppose the truth.

One of the common refrains that you hear from people today is that they believe in God, but not in organized religion. In other words, they want God, but they do not want the church.
What 1 Timothy 3:15 tells us is, that attitude is a huge mistake. If you choose to reject the church, then you are opening yourself to falsehood and deception. For the church is a pillar and buttress of truth.

Finding the truth is not like signing up for an advanced math class in college that may leave you feeling as though you are in over your head, as though you have jumped into the deep end, and now you may drown.
No, when you choose to follow Jesus and the Bible, God gives you another helper, the third person of the Trinity, who is the Holy Spirit. He lives inside of you. He becomes one with your human spirit. And as you seek the truth, he turns on the light within your heart so you can see and understand.
When truth goes, all is lost. When you lose truth, you lose meaning and purpose, you lose right and wrong, you lose confidence, you lose hope, you lose the light. But Jesus said, “For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world—to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.” (John 18:37)
Although God is perfectly faithful, for a season either short or long he may appear unfaithful. This message provides three reasons for that.
Sometimes we can be in the center of God's will, yet our life can look like a total defeat.
The world can be a confusing place. The future can be frightening. Let Jesus dispel the darkness and lead you on a sure path.
