It's EarGasm Time!!! For a while we didn't know if Offset was ever going to get his solo release off the ground. Following behind the other 2 Migos, Off was set to potentially end the trio of releases on a high note. Instead, we ended up with a respectable attempt at an album forcefully one note reflecting on this young man trials and tribulations. Sometimes it feels enduring, and other times it feels like marketing to empaths, or apologetic branding. There's not real attempt a nuance and sadly, no real flair. Even though the album shows the most potential of the three for a better sophomore solo project, it may be more a testament to the hard truth that the Migos are only at their best as Migos. No amount of Tributes could ever paint the image of how relentlessly talented and widely loved Mac Miller was. His legacy was confined to a bless few millions of fans, and close personal friends who had nothing but mournful tears and positive blessings to share about him in the wake of his tragic passing.
This is a sad review. It's sad because this album, Swimming, an a pure embodiment of his growth as in artist right up until the sweet but bitter end. Mac left us on a high note, and we're hear to praise him for that. It's the least we can do for someone who gave us so much of himself for a decade long party.

This week is Kanye March Madness. We go through each round of this Kanye Madness making the hard choices picking amazing Kanye songs over other amazing'er Kanye songs. This is the type of stuff that can really test a bond between friends. For a while there, I didn't think we would make it. When you have an artist like Kanye West who makes songs that touch the soul and spirits of a fan, making them choose their favorites can send them into what ever the fanatic version of epileptic shock would be. We almost didn't make it, yall.
The real mystery here is the criteria used to pick these seeds and then to match up tracks. But ultimately, it becomes genius because NO ONE is going to people to predict what SHOULD be the outcome of a Kanye Final Four. We still can't believe the to Champion teams, no pun intended we ended up with. That's just how things go some times when you're dealing with a genius, I guess.
