Helping mothers juggle the struggle of growing a profitable online business, parenting, homemaking and finding 'me time'.
Happy International Women's Day 2021! In today's episode I'm sharing 5 different points that will challenge you to 'flip the switch' on the stories you're telling yourself about why you don't have enough time, why you don't see results in your business (or home life) and much more. The theme for International Women's Day 2021 is #choosetochallenge. It's time to choose to challenge these limiting beliefs we tell ourselves that our lives aren't as great as we'd like them to be. #iwd2021
We, as online entrepreneurs, can appear to have it all together and most times we like to think we do. The reality of it all is that even though we have created this 'dream business' working our own hours and our own days, we face even greater struggles trying to juggle the time we spend with our family members and getting work done in our business. Today's special guest, Ki Wolf from Ki Wolf Writes (Instagram @kiwolfwrites), the "Marketing Copy Queen" knows this so well. You'll be amazed at how Ki has created a successful and thriving business in only a few months from doing something she is really good at and has done this from going from being a young mother, then becoming a single mother, then becoming a mother of 3 children. I can't wait for you to listen to her story on today's podcast.
I asked myself this question during the week and had time to reflect on my journey into motherhood thus far and how my life looked before becoming a mother. In today's podcast I'm talking about how finding that thing that you used to be passionate about or are still passionate about isn't lost just because you became a mother. You know, you can do both. Find out how you can change the outlook of your life with your current circumstances and be destined for more than you think.
PS After I listened back to the episode after publishing, I realised I had said my late grandmother had never sold anything in her life. Her and my grandfather were actually successful dairy farmers and retired when they were 60 years of age. She and generations before them were all farmers so knew all too well what it was like to try and juggle a business, family life and trying to find a balance to do the things they loved to do. In this case, it makes me even more proud to be her granddaughter.
You know when you think you've got it all together, along comes a 'superwoman' who is doing it all. My special guest today is Cedreka Baggett from Bagge LLC and she is the "Parental Queen". Cedreka has developed a program to help stay connected with your teenagers while teaching them the valuable life skill of cooking. She has also developed a line of designer, custom aprons with original designs created by her artistic teenage daughter. Cedreka has been in the US Navy for 15 years now and was deployed for 3 very long periods of time during her oldest child's first 4 years of life. Be inspired by Cedreka's story and her passion for business, her career, her family and taking care of yourself, as a priority.

As at January 1, 2021, I celebrated 12 years of being in business for myself as a work from home mother and entrepreneur. Little did I know 12 years ago that I'd be as successful as I am today. Setting up a solid foundation and simple systems to help me grow my online business is what got me where I am today and helped so much when I had life problems pop up during this time. I'm getting raw and candid on today's episode and I apologise in advance for crying (when I didn't think I would).

Everybody's work from home experience is different. I can remember those early days of being my own boss with a 4 year old and 2 year old and they certainly look different to a typical day today. Find out in today's episode what I do for my profitable and sustainable online business. If you'd like to know more about the free "Make Money Now" download mentioned in this episode, click here.

It's Halloween this week and something I didn't 'celebrate' as a child. We knew nothing about it here in Australia in the 60's. When I had my own children there was no escaping it but if you want to create a better balance in your life and find time for everything that's important to you, something has to give. Are you putting yourself under too much pressure to conform to what everyone else is doing instead of doing what's right for you?
