As Believers, we must navigate our lives in such a way that in every phase of life we show those around us that we belong to Jesus.
God's love is genuine! As Believers we are to help those around us feel the love that God has for them.
Today we celebrate Easter, the day that Jesus rose from the grave. The question each of us needs to ask is, "how do I respond?"

Thanksgiving is a very special holiday, but it is also something we should be offering to God daily.
Being servants for God is an opportunity that is given each day that the Lord allows us to live. May we serve Him and bring Glory to His name with our service.
We need to make sure we stay on message and on mission by keeping the Gospel at the center of our hearts and lives.
God has intricately put our bodies together, and we are to use our bodies for God's glory.

What are we looking for when in search of a church? Simply, we should be looking for a Church where the Word of God is preached and taught.

Paul exhorts the Ephesian church to maintain unity, to use their gifts, and to grow in spiritual maturity.
Like the Ephesian church, we are also called to love the church and fulfill her mission of making Christ known to everyone.
Having good spiritual health is a constant battle. We understand loving God with all our heart, we understand the importance of prayer, but our practice of loving all is a portion that tends to weaken our spiritual health.
Paul reminds Believers of their prior alienation from God and His people, and what Christ has done to reconcile them to God and one another.

In this prayer of thanksgiving and intercession, Paul expresses gratitude to God for the Ephesian Believers, and he prays for them to grow in their knowledge of God and in their awareness of all they have in Christ, who is over all. Winter Bible Study 2023.
Ephesians contains rich theology (telling us how to think) and wise practical guidance (telling us how to live). Paul writes to the Ephesian Believers to strengthen their faith by reminding them of their union with Christ.
It is so easy to lose sight of God in our lives. Many seem to approach their spiritual lives in a very haphazard way.

A servant is one who expresses submission or debt to another. Paul shows us in our servanthood that to be in debt to Christ will help us conquer pride in our lives, help us understand our individuality, and help us to embrace the uniqueness of being a servant for Jesus.
Jesus met opposition in ministry and so will we. As we look at God's Word may we quickly recognize that ministry can be successful despite the obvious opposition.
As Believers we are to live each day for the Glory of God. That we would serve and honor Him with our ways of living and thinking.
Neglect is a tragic situation, especially when a person neglects or rejects God's Word or God's gift of salvation.
Stewardship - a subject most of us have or draw an opinion of, for our own reasoning. As stewards we are to manage the resources and activities God has placed in our care. We glorify Him when we use them wisely.
You can expect the last of your last days to be different than the beginning of your last days.
There are some key words we need to pay attention to here in this passage. Steward - manager, overseer, Required - not volunteering, and Faithful - loyal, trustworthy, and dependable.
Since our enemies are many and strong, we should always be ready for a battle. So, how do we act when opposition occurs?

The church at Corinth was gifted, it should have been impacting people for the Glory of God. But, that was not the case as the Corinthian church was divided and weak.
Life is full of turbulent times. Thus, we can say that there will always be storms in this present life.

The church is imperfect just like the believers that make it up. Yet, we are to strive to be Holy as our God is holy.
Jesus said, "This do in remembrance of me". The Lord's Supper is a time to reflect on the past, consider the present, look to the future.
With church you have to take the good and the bad. We are not perfect yet, but we should be striving to achieve perfection.
There is always a need to be reminded that no one has been forgotten in the eyes of God.
Our testimony needs to be rock solid, our service needs to be for the glory of God, our lives need to reveal our love and dependence upon the Lord.
The indwelling of the Hy Spirit is a subject we should look at and study on constantly.
God gave the wonderful promise of restoration to His people. God's glorious kingdom is coming to earth and true believers will inherit His kingdom.
As members of a Church, we are to do more than just soak up what the church has to offer.
Daniel is praying for revival and spiritual awakening. A Model Prayer for our day and time too.
The Lord declared that He Himself would execute the judgment, and He is very clear: He has the power to do just what He says.
What does the Church need today? This church in Revelation had a real need, the same needs we have today.
If we want to be part of a strong church then we have to be a participant and not a spectator.

As a believer, what is the full capacity of your transformation? As a sinner, will you take a moment and look at what you are and begin to imagine what Jesus can make you become. Just follow Jesus!
We always need to be aware of our status with the Lord. So, answer these two questions in honesty: 1) How are you approaching your walk with the Lord? 2) Do you have issues with authority?
The local church body is to be made up of converted sinners. Born Again Christians gathered together to serve and honor our Lord and Savior. As a Born Again Believer, Are you an active participant of a Local Church?
Take time to answer a couple of questions: What does it mean to be in first place? What does it take to be the first place person in your life?

Amos, the prophet of God now spells out the causes of God's judgment. There are five sins in particular mentioned here.
Lack of unity will render the Church useless, it will halt the mission. Unity means working together, being in cooperation, and striving in harmony.
In this fourth vision, the Lord asked Amos what he saw. Amos replied, that he saw a basket of summer fruit. This vision brought great concern to the heart of God's Prophet. The Lord was saying that His people were also ripe for judgement.
A community is made up of friends, family, neighbors, and fellow Believers. As a Baptist Church we are a community of Believers that are brought together by a common faith and a common belief in the Word of God. As we serve the Lord may we impact our community for His glory!
The Great Commission is God's great eternal plan of redemption. It has always been His purpose and always will be.
Devotion is defined as loyalty or deep affection. As Believers are we truly devoted to our Lord and the things of God or are we devoted to the things of this world and a selfish way of life?
A new year, a new opportunity. We usually handle the physical aspect of a new year rather well. Do we do the same for the spiritual aspect?
Can a person have faith and not do good works? As we live our lives may those around us not only see Jesus in us but feel His touch through us.
This question that made Herod troubled and revealed the complacency of the religious leaders of that day also helps us understand that there are still those same types of people in the world today. Are you seeking after Jesus, becoming complacent or worldly? There is a choice that has to be made by each of us. What choice have you made?
Christmas is truly a time for celebrating. May each of us look at the true reason for the celebration. Thank the Lord for all He does for us!
God's plan from the very beginning was to provide salvation for all mankind. At Jesus birth the plan was put in motion. The choice is ours. Confess our sin to God, seeking forgiveness then call upon the name of Jesus to be saved.
May we consider each other in the trials, difficulties, and weaknesses we encounter in life.
In this vision the Lord was checking the people to see if they were plumb, in line, straight. The plumb line was a symbol of God's Holy Word.
God sent a prophecy through His humble prophet, telling of the birthplace of a Ruler whose kingdom would never fade away.
As we consider our opportunities, may we quickly examine each one and see how we might glorify God with our efforts.
Believers in Jesus Christ are called to live sacrificial, holy lives. In doing so, the believer will face opposition that will try to silence their witness.

This passage of Scripture is rich in describing the nature, character, and activity of faith that overcomes in the life of a Biblical Disciple.
We were not saved just for heaven and we were not saved just to be church goers either.

One of the most important parts of this study is the view of intercessory prayer. Amos sees the impact that God's actions through judgement are going to have and he immediately begs for God's forgiveness of his people's sins.

Satan has a key role in the end time deception. The world has gotten a lot more lawless, and it is getting worse as time moves forward. Remember God is in control of the final outcome.
A hypocrite is a person who assumes an appearance of piety and virtue, when they are destitute of true religion. God told the people of Israel through Amos that He hated and despised their worship.
There will be people that will come along our path and try to push us further down the road of deception.
God announced His judgement on all the unjust of Israel. People's behavior has not changed. Even with the advancements in the medical, scientific, and technological segments, man still has not changed.
Many times the leaders over use do not live, believe, or have policies we agree with, yet we are told to respect and honor them.
God called His chosen people to pay close attention, judgement was coming upon them due to their sins.
God's Word tells us to be doers of the Word of God and the possibility of being deceived grows less as we learn more and serve more for His glory.
Jesus Christ was heartbroken by lifeless religion. We too should morn the decline in our churches and the lifeless state we see so many individuals in.
There is something that will happen and we must be prepared for it. Coming there will be a time of deception and a great falling away from the true church.
As Believers, followers of Christ, we should be experiencing brokenness in our heart over the impact of evil.

What is your view of worship? Our likes, dislikes, thoughts and feelings work to develop our attitude toward worship.
We should be grieved and burdened about the condition of this world. Our hearts should be broken by almost all that we see. The people of our day need a touch from the hand of God.
Worship because we have experienced God's Spirit, because we have experienced and trusted His presence, we come to worship with a desire to experience His power and presence as we give ourselves to Him in worship.
When setting goals, either individual or corporate, there are some key words to remember. The words are: God's Will, Holy Spirit, Worth of our Lord, priorities, and Include everyone.
The Moabites were guilty in the eyes of God because they repeatedly committed evil against the Lord and against other people.
There are many distractions that occur on any given Sunday, that works against our effort to worship with a clean - clear - heart. God is worthy of our worship!

Are you concerned or thinking about the future. Many people are looking for answers about the future in many different places. The point being made here in James is that knowing the future is not as important as being prepared for the future.

In 2 Peter 2:6-8 we are given insight to the life of Lot. we also see that as a believer in God that Lot had no altar, had no quite time with the Lord so he could judge matters in light of God's Word. Lot made terrible decisions.
Everyone who becomes a Born-Again Believer enters not only into a peculiar relation with Christ, but with the world also.
Spiritual Leaders of today can learn a lot from the response and example shown to us through Noah.
The greatest penalty of Sin for the Believer is the separation from God that occurs. Consequences for sin are very severe, and in most cases questioned in the necessity of the consequence.

An introduction to the Book of Amos. We can see three topics to discuss as an overview of thoughts about this Book. Amos addresses those that Worship God in appearance only, that God's judgement is universal and that God is greatly hurt by personal sins.
There are a number of ways we can invite people to come and see Jesus. Inviting them to come and know a person Jesus Christ.
