Evolved from two books and two documentaries, the Women Unveiled podcast is a place where Erika Etienne encourages women to remove their masks and share their uncut and unfiltered stories of faith, redemption, sacrifice, and more. Listeners will be encouraged, empowered, and equipped to keep fighting the good fight of faith, even if it's not pretty.
Childhood is supposed to be filled with laughter, joy, carefree living, and innocence, but what happens when your childhood is interrupted? Her desire to lead women to God was birthed from a traumatic childhood experience that warped her sense of sexual intimacy and challenged her faith for many years.

Julia is the founder of the She’s Awakened women’s ministry movement, which was formed to bring awareness to childhood trauma of which she is also a survivor. Yolanda joins the show to talk about what’s behind her smile, as written in her chapter of Women Unveiled Vol. 2: Secrets of Strong Women. Her innocent childhood was disrupted by a sexual predator, her uncle, who’s actions set her on a path of promiscuity, low self-esteem, self-sabotage, and being the source of dysfunction in relationships.

Her main desires are to grow spiritually, so she may win souls for the kingdom and to learn to be like the greatest leader of all time—Jesus. Yolanda was born and raised in New York City and now lives in Virginia with her husband and two beautiful daughters.

They say there’s nothing like a mother’s love. She’ll go to the ends of the earth for her child and a little further than that if it’s necessary. Jenell Brown is no exception. Jenell joins us to share the hills and valleys of being her son’s biggest advocate and discovering what was best for him at all costs.

Jenell Brown is a Special Education Parent Advocate, and the CEO and Founder William is Artistic, a Nonprofit 501(c)(3) incorporated in December of 2020. William is Artistic is a Parent Advocacy and Parent Support Group Organization which brings awareness, acceptance, support, artistic creation, and advocacy to families of children with special needs who are entering their journey of Special Education. For the past six years, Jenell's inspiration and purpose behind William is Artistic was due to her personal journey of advocating for her son who has special needs. Jenell felt led by God to use her experience and organization to help families who are struggling to understand the Special Education process. Jenell provides training, one-on-one advocacy support, and artistic social sessions for special needs children. She plans to continue to provide support to her community, schools, and families via in-person and remotely. Jenell resides on the east coast with her husband and five children. She is also a 20-year Air Force veteran still serving in the Air Force Reserve as a First Sergeant.

Through the diversity of her community involvement, she is a groundbreaking influence to women of all ages, nationalities, and socioeconomic backgrounds. She is a mentor, speaker, a sexual assault and domestic violence
advocate, and a certified leader for Surrendering the Secret, a support group for post-abortive women.
Her passion for women motivates her to tirelessly extend her encouragement to women wherever she can. Her light of hope and infectious energy also serve to present programs in her community. She longs to see denominational and racial barriers broken down and people united. She serves as an ordained clergy in Medina, Ohio, under the pastorate of her husband.
She is passionate about helping women pursue a fresh encounter with God and align with His
word.
