In this episode we dive into the importance of mentorship within the Fire Service. We define what mentorship is, how it differs from instructors or teachers, and how Companies can introduce informal mentorship amongst their crew. We also discuss personal experience and expectations of the formal mentorship process and hi-light what makes a good mentor.
In this episode we dive head first into creating the Company Vision. The only way to get multiple people and personalities to head in one direction is to give them a destination and the direction in which to go. Todays fire service requires a little bit different approach to intrapersonal communication, and how small groups take ownership of where they want to go. In the new year our goal is to inspire Companies to dive into why they exist, where they’re headed, and how they’re gonna get there together. Own the suit in 2023, and give #maximumeffort
