Facing a sudden health scare of my mother during an important family event was a stark reminder that life happens for us, not against us.
This wake-up call, during our son's graduation, had us grappling with the tough choices that come with the territory of having aging parents. It sparked a deeper conversation that we're sharing in this episode about transforming the trials and tribulations of life into life-enhancing experiences. This isn't a call for passive acceptance of life's challenges, but rather an invitation to actively engage in making the coming decades the best years of our life.
We're pulling up the curtain on the complexities of caregiving and sharing how to love and support aging parents without taking on their burdens. This journey isn't easy, it's fraught with stress, guilt from traditional family roles, and the heartbreak of watching our parents grapple with their own mortality. But, we're here to lend a hand, sharing our own experiences and insights, and discussing how to ensure you're there for your parents without losing yourself in the process. We're also touching upon the importance of rallying your siblings or other family members to share responsibilities and how to empathize with parents who may have lost their social network. Our hope is to help you navigate this overwhelming, yet inevitable, stage of life with grace and resilience.

As most of us grow older we realize that there is a big difference between religion and spirituality.
The things that we were taught from our families, cultures and environment start to become questioned and challenged.
As a result we go on this spiritual journey to discover The Truth about God, The Universe, who we really are and what matters most in life.
It is not a comfortable journey, and the reason it’s not a comfortable one is that it causes us to question or let go of the very things (or people) that no longer align with what we have been taught.
Letting go of something that is familiar in search of something that is unknown is one of the most challenging aspects of the human experience.
But the good news is that it doesn’t have to be!
The spiritual journey can be fun, exciting and predictable once you understand how it often unfolds.
If you want to enhance your midlife your journey and find more peace, love, and joy in your life it is essential that you build your spiritual muscles.
In today’s episode we have and open and honest dialogue about the spiritual journey, what it really means and how you can begin or continue to strengthen your spirituality so you can experience the life that we believe you were created to have.

And it’s those tough times where most of us tend to have a crisis or challenge with our faith. We begin to question God, becausethe things we have been taught don’t seem to add up.
If God unconditionally loves us and is as powerful as we’ve been taught, why does he allow so much pain and hardship to occur in our lives?
It doesn’t’ make sense…until it does!
You see, what we’ve learned is that those times are divinely created to bring us closer to God so we realize we are not alone and we are loved and supported more than we’ll ever know.
It's in building our faith musclesthat we create a deeper, a more intimate relationship with The Divine so that when the when the next wave of adversity comes rolling in, we are not only better prepared to handle it, we learn to experience more joy and peace with the process.
If you want to experience more joy in your life, having a strong faith is the foundation. In this episode we share how we’ve learned to build our faith muscles and how we use faith to bring more joy and peace into our lives.
If you believe in God but you have been struggling with your faith, this episode is for you! Listen to it NOW!
Can you imagine a life where you are in complete control of your emotions and your ability to handle any challenge or adversity that life throws at you?
Would you like to learn how to get emotional closure on any pain or resentment you have towards your past or towards others so you can shift your energy to focus on creating a happier, more fulfilling and successful future?
Well if so, you’re in luck, because in this episode you’re going to learn how owning your shit and giving yourself permission to suck will give you the emotional freedom to let go of anything that is currently holding you back from experiencing the life that your heart desires.
In this episode we discuss these two principles and how you can apply them to your life starting today.

Do you know that you were born with an innate power to manifest anything your heart desires, including your ideal partner?
That's right!
We believe you live in an intelligent and loving Universe that is filled with unlimited possibilities, and when you learn how to tap into the Universal Field, the Divine Source will work with you to make sure what it is that you desire shows up into your reality.
We're not talking magic, Law of Attraction or any of the "hacks" that others are espousing. We're talking quantum physics, energy and how the universe really works.
As a human being you play a huge role in your ability to manifest.
But the good news is once you understand what it really takes to start manifesting, you can stop wasting time on things that don't work, and you can start focusing your energy in the areas that will actually produce results.
In today's podcast we discuss two of the biggest areas that you must focus on if you're looking to manifest that special guy who will love you the way you were created to be loved.
Because even if you're a great catch and have so much to offer, if you're not doing these two things you'll unknowingly be making it so much more difficult to manifest what your heart desires.
And it's not because God or The Universe is denying you, it's because you'll be creating an energetic block which will prevent that Divine Source from sending what you want into your life.
But once you shift your focus and start making the energetic changes, the Universe has to respond.
In this episode you'll learn how to start tapping into your potential and start improving your ability to manifest your ideal partner!

Did you know that the story of Adam and Eve has very little to do with temptation, sin and the devil?
Now for some individuals this may be hard to accept. And that’s understandable.
When we believe something is true, and what we believe to be true has been reinforced over and over, we simply accept that it’s true without ever examining it.
You see, there is a big difference between what you believe to be true and what is THE TRUTH.
That’s why in this episode we discuss the story of Adam and Eve. It’s a story that most of us have been taught and believe to be true.
But what if the story that we’ve been told isn’t really true? What if it really had nothing to do with temptation, a fallen angel’s desire to steal souls or Original Sin?
What if it had nothing to do with any of those things and it simply was a metaphor for one of the most important things we needed to know about this human journey we’re all on?
We know this episode is going to be controversial and that’s ok.
We’re not asking you to believe what we’re discussing. We’re simply looking at the story from a new and different perspective so you can decide for yourself what is your TRUTH.
If you’re like us and you’re at the stage in your journey where you are beginning to examine a lot of the things you were taught. and you’ve realized some of those old teachings and indoctrinations do not serve you and your life, you are going to love this episode.
We think it’s even better than the one we did on The Wizard of Oz.
Let's face it. The older we get the more life tends to take a toll on our emotional state.
It's why a lot of individuals in midlife life tend to experience anxiety, irrational fears or have trouble letting go of the past.
But there's good news! The brain's natural ability to protect you from getting hurt can be overcome and it doesn't have to require a trip to a psychologist's couch...or anti-anxiety medication.
In this episode we take a deep dive on FEAR and how it may be affecting your ability to have the life and relationships that The Divine created you to have.
Here's some highlights:
---How fear is just a natural defense mechanism of the brain to protect you and keep you safe...but sometimes that works against you.
---How your fear of getting hurt may be preventing you from having what it is your really want, whether it's a great job, a Kick-ass relationship or the health and happiness you crave.
---The real reason why you may be holding on to the past and having trouble letting go.
---How to recognize the difference between Healthy Fear & Unhealthy Fear.
---This one shift in your approach that will make it easier to overcome your fear and anxiety.
And more...

Have you ever heard the expression, "Where your focus goes your energy grows?"Well, research shows that the average midlife adult spends almost two hours every day on social media.
That's a lot of time and energy!
So, the big question is, is focusing that much time every day on social media effecting you in a positive way or negative way?
Talking about social media can be a very controversial and polarizing topic.
In this and in this episode we have an open and honest discussion on Social Media and how you can recognize if it's adding value to your life or it's something that's having a negative impact on you, your life and the world.
Because we believe how we collectively use social media plays a big role in what our world looks like.
If you want to make the next half of your life the best half (and make the world a better place to live) it's important to look at how you are using social media.
And that's exactly what this episode will help you do!
In our last episode we looked at the popularity of the movie, The Wizard of Oz and how it was packed with symbolism reflective of our human journey.
