The only way to Heaven is you work hard to stop sinning right now. God says in James 1:14-15 "But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death." Lets work hard together to live like we were Chosen by God and let go of those sins standing in between us and Heaven.
When we are Chosen by God, we have a responsibility to keep up his reputation of victory and holiness. That is how we experience being chosen and never being forsaken. Read the story of David to understand how he was an example for us to walk up right before God and experiencing redemption through repentance.
James 1:2 says "My brethern, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations." Living like you were Chosen by God means that you are in a joyful and grateful state no matter the test and trial because God is our source.
