In the first segment, Gabe and Christian discuss Penny Hardaway's first transfer portal commitment, Temple big man Nick Jourdain. What kind of impact will he have on the Tiger roster next year? Most layperson would assume that Nick Jourdain isn't a big time get for Penny, but Christian and Gabe believe he is the perfect piece the Tigers will need to go further in the tournament.

In the first segment, Gabe and Christian discuss the Tiger basketball team's 10-3 record in the non-conference portion of their schedule. The Tigers' boast a 4-1 record against their SEC opponents this year, and go into their conference schedule with clear momentum. Gabe and Christian share their thoughts on the trajectory of the Tigers' basketball team the rest of the season and highlight the emergence of Johnathan Lawson and Damaria Franklin as the Tigers' roster has expanded over the past few games. Both Damaria and Johnathan bring another layer of offense production for this team, and with injuries playing a major role for this team, Penny Hardaway will have to utilize every person on the team to maximize wins this year.
In the second segment, Christian transitions to the Tiger football team's success this offseason on the recruiting trail. Ryan Silverfield has proven himself to be a quality recruiter of talent and Gabe and Christian highlight the guys that are coming into the Tiger program in 2023 and how they will immediately impact the Tigers this year. Offensive lineman Chris Morris and defensive lineman Derick Hunter are two major pieces that are coming in from the junior college ranks who will be major factors immediately for the Tigers and both Gabe and Christian believe the staff knows that they need to focus on immediate impact rather than roster development as they come off two straight 6-6 campaigns in the 2021 and 2022 years.

In the first segment, Gabe and Christian talk about the news of Tiger guard Damaria Franklin being deemed eligible by the NCAA on Monday, December 12th. The guys discuss the impact they believe Damaria will have for this Tigers' team that is coming off a resounding 82-73 win over the #11 Auburn Tigers over the weekend. They break down the play of senior guard Kendric Davis, who poured in 27 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists in 38 minutes. Kendric Davis has been everything Tiger fans hoped and dreamed for when he signed with the Tigers during the offseason. Gabe and Christian discuss how impactful his presence on the court has been for the Tigers and how the Tigers can go as far as Kendric Davis can take them.
They transition to talk about the upcoming matchup against #4 Alabama in Tuscaloosa on Tuesday night. The Tigers are playing the third game of a four game stretch against SEC schools and are sitting at 2-0. The guys believe this matchup will be the hardest the Tigers will face during this four game battle.
In the second segment, Gabe and Christian discuss the big week in Tiger football recruiting. The Tigers picked up another big transfer in the #5 ranked JUCO player in the country, DL Derick Hunter. Derick was a 4-star defensive lineman from Fort Myers, FL and held offers from Arkansas, Florida State and Colorado before ultimately deciding to join Ryan Silverfield and the Memphis Tigers. Gabe and Christian discuss the class that Ryan Silverfield is putting together and how they believe all these pieces will fit together with the schemes that the Tigers put on the field.

In the second segment Christian and Gabe transition to the Servpro First Responders' Bowl matchup between the Memphis Tigers and Utah State Aggies. The Tigers are expected to win this game and the guys discuss how important this game is for the culture of Tiger football. Christian describes the identity that the Tigers are hoping to build through recruiting and the transfer portal and the commitments that have come in so far this offseason.

The Tigers have experienced numerous heartbreaking losses this season, and Gabe and Christian discuss the mood of the fans and how Ryan Silverfield can change the course of his tenure at Memphis. To end the segment, the guys discuss the news that Ryan Silverfield and Seth Henigan are both expected to return to the Tigers for the 2023 season and what that means for the football program.
In the second segment, Kenny rejoins Gabe and Christian as they discuss the Tiger basketball team's performance at the ESPN Events Invitational. The Tigers experienced a gut-wrenching loss to Seton Hall at the buzzer but rebounded in the next two games to defeat Nebraska and Stanford handily. The guys discuss the performance of Alex Lomax and his leadership on the court. They also discuss the starting lineup and some changes that could be made to alleviate some of the slow starts Memphis has had this season.

Join Christian and Kenny as they discuss the Memphis win over VCU in their 2022 home opener on Sunday, November 20th. Kenny and Christian discuss the changes Penny made to the lineup and scheme coming into the VCU game after giving up ninety points to SLU. Penny changed the starting lineup and added two defensive players in Jayden Hardaway and Chandler Lawson. They also described how Kendric Davis looked more comfortable coming off his offseason ankle injury. Kendric led the Tigers with 26 points, 7 assists, and 5 rebounds. They also discuss senior PG Alex Lomax and his role with the Tigers. Alex has been polarizing figure during his time at Memphis, but Kenny asserts that Tiger fans need to change their view on what a successful game for Alex is. Alex's role with the Tigers has transitioned to being a defense first, ball distributor that helps Kendric with the ball handling duties while he's on the floor.
