About Our Show Guest, Allyn Evans
Allyn Evans, MBA, is the Chief Executive Officer and a Residential Trainer for the Monroe Institute in Faber, Virginia. She is also a certified Reiki Master Teacher and is one of the instructors for the Energy Medicine program at Monroe. Allyn has served in many roles with Monroe in the past including; leading efforts to create virtual programming, committee member of the Meditation App Development committee, previous Outreach Coordinator and trainer for the Outreach Trainers (domestic and international), chair of the first Local Chapter Network efforts to launch and sustain the volunteer network worldwide. Typically referenced with 7 main chakras at the base of the spine (Root chakra), lower abdomen/Sacrum (Sacral Chakra), Upper abdomen just below the sternum (Solar Plexus), Over the spine in alignment with the heart (Heart Chakra), above the collar bones in the center of the neck (Throat Chakra), on the forehead between the brows (Third Eye Chakra) and the top of the head (Crown Chakra). There are many more chakras including the fingertips and toes however, many people just refer to the 7 main chakras listed above.
➢Attunement: Sacred rituals or routines using reiki symbols to open up the recipient to their own innate ability to tap into and channel divine energies for healing.

In this episode Tammy and Jenn talk about their experiences with channeling, Jenn from the side of the channel and Tammy as the recipient. Jenn describes what it feels like to be in a channeling state and a trance channeling state, what happens when she breaks her channel and how her guides tend to call her out when she is in a channeling state. Tammy talks about the differences she has noticed in mannerisms, vocals and language when she has been the recipient as well as what she has felt when receiving messages from guides and her higher self.
We did get a bit long winded in this episode so we broke it down into two episodes. Tune in next week for Episdoe 10, the continuation of channeling.
Terminology definitions in this episode:
►Channeling: The art of opening yourself up to receive and energetic information from and allow use of your body and voice to, an energetic being. Or being a conduit of information from the other side.
►Mediumship: A person who can communicate with those who have crossed over.
►Ascended Master: A being who has mastered their growth to ascend to a higher level of consciousness to a state of forgiveness, peace and unconditional love or as Tammy says, "They got King Koopa!"
►Energy Collective: A group of beings who have come together for a specific purpose or topic. Typically having a spokesperson or representative that speaks for all of the beings in the collective. AKA "The Cosmic Board of Directors"
►Entity: In this episode it is used a blanket term to talk about any being that is not human or of this physical realm/world. In other situations this term has a more negative (perceived negative) connotation having to do with attachments, demons, etc.
►Higher self: While I, Jenn, stumble over my words in this video to describe this term, what I was attempting to get out is that your higher self is the all knowing portion of yourself. It is slightly different from your soul in that your soul is the experiential potion of your being that plants itself into situations such as human form, the higher self is the divine knowing portion of yourself that oversees and guides you at the soul level.
