This podcast exists for the lash artists who are ready to quit, those looking for REAL DEAL information, & those who are ready to continue growing. I hope that what I share about my experiences will encourage, motivate, & help you feel seen. We're in this together!

As I wrap up this mini series, I wanted to share the best ways I’ve been able to increase my prices with ease. Hope it helps!
The conversation continues! In this episode we discuss when you should and shouldn’t do a price increase!
Raising your prices is one of the most & risky and scary things you can do in your lash business. I hope this episode helps to shift your perspective & makes the journey easier.
I've seen so many Lash Artists NOT have these simple and easy things in place on their IG's, and they are keeping them from growing. Check out this episode to be sure you aren't making any of these mistakes.
Anybody going to Lash Con this year? Do you know what Lash Con is? Either way, in this episode, we talk about it!

“How do you get better clients?” This question is almost always asked when I’m chatting with artists on Instagram Live. So I’m this episode we get down to it. My friend & mentee talk it out in this episode. I know something in here will be helpful!
Comparison has been a trending topic of conversation in my personal and business life the last week or so. In this episode I share about the costs of comparison and believe me, its EXPENSIVE! If this is something that you've ever struggled with (and we all have and may still do), check this episode out. I hope it helps.
This one trips alot of content creators up. When you don't know what to post it can really take you on a downward spiral. You may feel like you don't know what you're doing or that you aren't a good content creator. When it comes down to it you just need a little guidance. I hope this episode helps!
One of my mentees who is also a friend asked me a question about a month ago and I've been really wrestling with it and thinking through it. The question has caused me to deeply reflect on how God is my CEO, how I keep moving through fear and uncertainty, and what's sustained me along my journey as a lashpreneur. I hope this episode helps you feel seen and gives you a sense of direction and encouragement.
If you’re struggling to increase you clientele & to grow your business, one of the reasons may be THE reason why.. I hope this helps!
If you've ever experienced (or still experience) not being fully booked, then I know you understand how stressful and discouraging that can be. I've been there, but I've learned and developed a few skills that have helped me, and I hope they help you!
Content is hard, right? WRONG! Creating content is only hard when you're spinning your wheels trying to figure out what to post, or trying to understand why what you're posting isn't working. My advice: share what's VALUABLE & take the focus off of what's "right." In this episode I give a few surface tips to improve your content. I'll definitely share an episode soon with more details about content.
I had a friend ask me how'd I become so fearless and obedient... the best answer I have is by taking L's. And don't be mistaken, I still get scared lol. In this episode I share a piece of my current journey and some loses I've recently take. I hope that you feel seen and encouraged by the end of the episode
Its been a month but I'm happy to be back on the mic! Catch up with me in this episode as I spill a little business tea!
We see it daily. Some of us are licensed & some of us are certified artists. Let's talk about what both qualifications mean & which one is the best route to take. I hope this helps!
Sometimes the money just isn't worth what it requires to receive. In this episode im sharing how I've learned to fire clients, & when its necessary to do so. You are responsible for protecting your peace, even in the work place. As a business owner, policies help you do so. I hope this episode makes your lash journey a bit easier.
Wanna make your life a little easier? Need to free up some time? Want potential clients to stop looking and start booking? Get a booking site! In this episode I'm sharing how having a booking site has helped make my lashing journey easier. I hope the info will help you, too!
You're sharing your lash pics and letting people know you have availability... but they're still looking and not booking. Here is some advice on how to grow as a lash business owner which will help you also grow your clientele. This is what worked for me and I hope that the info will help you, too!
Retension can be the death of a lash career, as the purpose of getting extensions is for them to last as long as possible (in between fills of course). In this episode Im sharing the tools that helped me increase my clients' lash retension. I hope that these tools help you as much as they've helped me over the years.
Painful reality: everybody won't like their lashes. As daunting as the thought/experience is, you have to make sure you've done everything within your power to prevent such situations. In this episode I share about a recent experience where a new client did not like her lashes. I hope something is said to help you navigate your own experience should you ever have one!
The lash industry is full of misguided lash techs. Mostly because of trainers who shouldn't be training. Lash training shouldn't be about adding another stream of income to your hustle or business. You should train to HELP OTHERS! If all you bring to the table is how to apply a lash extension, I think you should wait until you have more to offer. In this episode I present a few questions for you to think about regarding if you should train or wait. I hope this is insightful.
My mentorship program is opening back up in February 2023 & I cannot wait to work with artists who are serious about their growth. In this episode I detail how we can partner this year. I look forward to working with all who are ready!
New year, better me! Just continuing what I started in 2022 so that I can keep growing & going! Reflect with me & be encouraged. I pray something was said to light your fire & help you better you!
I've been told idk how many times from new clients that they've never had a lash artist go into so much detail before coming to me...and that is sad. As service providers it is our job to educate clients and potential clients about all things lash extension related. If for no other reason, it clearly sets you apart from other artists. In this episode I detail how I conduct consultations for new and returning clients. I hope this helps!
We are quickly approaching the new year, and as we know this is a time where most of us reflect & course correct. In this episode I'm sharing things that have helped me be a better me, lash artist, and business owner. I'm also sharing what I plan to implement or improve. I hope this episode helps!
No shows are the worst, but they're also inevitable. Emergencies happen and that's understandable, but sometimes clients just...don't show up. It sucks, but there's always something that you can redirect your energy to & still be productive. In this episode I share what I do when I have no shows & last minute cancellations. I hope this helps!
I'm a big dreamer...& I had to learn how to create realistic plans to achieve my goals and dreams. In this episode I share examples of how I'm able to set realistic financial goals & the strategy I use to achieve them. I hope this helps!
I am really looking forward to 2023. 2022 was challenging but good! Full of lessons that have helped me grow as a woman and a business owner. In this episode I'm sharing my goals and plans for the new year & addressing a topic I've been getting quite a few questions about... How to become a mentee! I hope this episode helps you in some way or another.
My main prayer when I went to LashCon was to find my lash bestie. Someone I would do the journey with & grow with. In this episode I'm happy to share her with you. I pray that something in this episode ignites your fire & refuels your faith. We hope to see you at our 2023 Vision Board Party for God, Girls, & Goals. Loved Vernesia? Connect with her on Instagram @prettyinwink
I've had quite a few people congratulate me for taking such a huge leap of faith to leave my Social Work career behind for entrepreneurship... and that assumption is the FURTHEST from the reality of how this all happened lol. I WISH it was that cute. In this episode, I share my complete journey with you about who I was & what I was doing prior to starting my lash business in August 2020. I hope that it gives you some relatability, inspiration, & a good lil laugh. Thanks for tuning in.
