Life is too short. For me, this is not only a saying, but I also believe in it. I lost my grandpa and papa, who were both absolutely healthy and free of even the slightest touch of a disease, within a span of 3-5 seconds; both at a gap of a few years, of course! Trust me, disease and pain are all in the mind. More than half of the times, we can be our own doctors and healers. This is a story that I read in my childhood which added so effectively to the already known fact. In my family, and in my husband’s family, they do not believe in medicine, but self care and self healing. Time and again they’ve proven the same. Life is full of surprises: some happy, some sad. We accept all the good that happens to us without any question. But, as the tide starts to turn around, we pray and panic and accuse and blame, even the almighty. We forget to thank, but are always ready to blame. We never realise that it’s our own selves to blame. We never realise that the universe has its plan for us in what is coming our way in the moment. This is a story that made me realise for the first time what it means when someone says that there is some good waiting after every happening in life. All we need is keep faith. However impossible it could be or may seem, a dream conceptualised with conviction, passion, deep desire, purity and faith can only come true. This is a story of a village girl born into a medium class orthodox family in Haryana, India. No one in her vicinity or family could even think of what she had dreamt. It was only her faith in her dream that her desires were absolutely realised in the next thirty years. Whatever she dreamt of came true. Her life is The Law of Attraction. She is herself a manifestation.
