I asked my audience on Instagram what is the smallest amount of money that would change their life right now and TBH, I wasn't surprised by the answer but what I did feel strongly about was how all of the responses are actually achievable by starting a side hustle as a virtual assistant.

About 10 months ago, I was diagnosed with ADHD. I have shared a little bit here and there on my Instagram and the podcast that I do have ADHD but I haven't really dove into what this journey has looked like (or the road to getting a formal diagnosis) so that is what we are doing today!

Sometimes, I think the name “assistant” can pull a certain type of stereotype that maybe we have been conditioned to believe in movies or where the assistant is just at the mercy of the person who has hired them and they are running themselves ragged trying to please their boss. The Devil Wears Prada, anyone? 🤪
But being a virtual assistant is more about being a member of the team. Plus, you run your own business too, so that means you set your boundaries and expectations as well!
In this episode, I am sharing three areas I believe you should be setting boundaries around and how to do so in order to not only grow a sustainable business but prevent yourself from burnout along the way. 🎧

It's been one year since I started working with my first handful of clients (at 25 weeks pregnant and with a 17-month-old on my hip) and since then we have generated over $100k in revenue and have helped over 60 women start and grow their business as a virtual assistant, too.
Throughout the last 12 months, I have learned so much, but today, we are chatting about three lessons that stick out to me the most!

I have been an entrepreneur for over 5 years now over those 5 years, I have gone all in on some business opportunities and just dabbled in others, but when I look back over the years on the opportunities I had, I do not regret a single one.
I believe that everything that has come before where I am today has simply been a stepping stone to prepare me for this. And listen, I don’t even think that THIS is the end all be all! But what I do know is that while I don't have any regrets, I do with I would have started sooner. Started when I didn't feel "ready". And in this week's episode, I am going to share WHY.
