Word's Way Christian Ministries was founded by Pastor Kevin Verner Sr. in 1999 with the mission to be led by the Holy Spirit in obedience to the command of God as put forth by Jesus Christ in the great commission. Word's Way continues to be an efficient body of believers who preach, teach, walk by faith and live according to the principles of the Holy Bible. We are an evangelistic ministry specifically concerned with soul winning, aiding and assisting the destitute, the indigent and others in need. We strive to permeate our communities with the Word of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
If we are to grow this year it must include how we manage our money. As a pastor I have been afraid to speak and teach about money, but I am growing this year and riding myself of that fear. I know many pastors have mismanaged money causing a stigma to be on the church but the mistakes of a few can’t define the whole. We must teach the entire word of God and money is the most talked about subject in the Bible. This week we want to discuss money, in the areas of Tithes, offering, first fruit, sacrificial giving, and generosity. Do you put God first in your money? Are you all about the Benjamins?

We have just celebrated the most amazing celebration for Christians Easter Sunday! We were reminded last time that "We have the juice now!". We understand that we are responsible to carry the Good News of Christ to all the earth, but it will cost us. Almost every apostle became a martyr. Today we went to encourage believers to mature to understand our job is to build bridges to Christ, not win arguments or quarrel. If we are to take this Gospel out it won’t be easy, and we must be strategic and do it lovingly just as Christ did!

As we prepare for Resurrection Sunday I want to set the stage for our hearts and minds to truly grow in knowing what, who and why Jesus is. The sanctified, the mature, the true disciples will continuously deal with and fight the sin in their lives, perpetuating true sanctification. We then join the kingdom team in the form of serving God through serving others, continuing to die to ourselves. We do this so we can have heavenly access and authority.

Many of us did not have the 2022 we hoped for, we feel short of God's glorious standard. Shame, guilt, and the feeling of not being worth has plagued our mind, marries and families. But God is saying today "and!!" We serve a restorer, there is no mess He can't fix and no depths He is not willing to come revive you from.
Today we will look at the many men and women that fell short of Gods standard and had horrible past, but God still used them greatly. We will examine Jesus' history and lineage as we get ready for the celebration of the birth of Christ.

God did not create you inferior to men and you're not a subordinate member of the family, YOU ARE A HELPER, PLAY YOUR POSITION!

Strong marriages make for strong families, strong families make for strong churches, strong churches make for strong communities, strong communities make for strong cities, strong cities make for strong states and states make for strong countries. It's safe to say the country is depending on strong marriages.

As we learn to submit ourselves the power of God in our lives by fully putting on the armor of God we must understand the value and purposes of being truly committed to him.
We seem to be loyal to everything else in this life; Chiefs, our carers, jobs, vacations, alcohol, and even the hair dresser. God does not mind us enjoying some of these things but the issue is when these things take first place in our lives.
When we examine culture, this world and ourselves we see one consistent thing... the love of money. Again, money is not a bad thing, in this world we need it but when we place it over God allowing it to take first place in our lives we have created an idol.
God standard is first, nothing less and until we place him there and fully allow him to control our lives we can never entirely defeat the enemy and lay claim to the victory promised. Today we will strongly look at money amongst a few other things and how our love for them have rooted other chaos in our lives blocking us from seeing the move of God.

We have to grow to know who we are in Christ and the power we have through Christ, we do that by examining and exploring his character which is denoted, and developed in his nature, which is described in his names. How we access the power of the Holy Spirit and pull down supernatural power is through prayer. Literally how the Christian accesses heaven and the kingdom of God is through prayer. A prayer-less person or church is a powerless person or church, we are to always prayer in all times for all things.

Many believers are fighting the devil with unqualified weapons and stressing that we can't make a dent. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, and we see Jesus make a perfect example of this as he prepared for ministry.

There was a popular song years ago by a rapper called U.O.E.NO. and in this song the rapper talks bout all the normal 2000's rapper stuff; money, cars success, etc but his points I have all these expensive rare things and you don't even know it. The rappers claim is the we are oblivious to who, what and how amazing he is. It dawned on me as Christians we are oblivious to who our enemy is, how to defend ourselves and how to attack. We have spun our wheels for years trying to figure out why we are defeated or why God has not moved in areas we have long prayed for. Well today we will uncover out enemy and comet the knowledge how how he fights and how we must fight him back.
In this series we want to take a look at our enemy and learn how to defeat him. We must come into unity as the body of Christ and learn how to use our spiritual weapons.
