Qué opinan de como suena el cajón en la música latina? Este tema es un Latin Jazz increíblemente complejo y sabroso de escuchar e interpretar, con espacios para hacer de todoo hasta para improvisar!

SEMANA 18! No saben lo contento que estoy de mostrarles el producto de muchas horas de trabajo, esta ha sido mi participación a la cual más amor le he puesto.

Para esta semana decidí grabar TODO desde cero, desde la percusión, bajo, acompañamiento, melodía, decidí aprovechar mi instrumento y usar todos sus recursos, grabando la Marimba y Steel Pan, dando esos colores característicos de esta canción tan increíble, composición del maestro Samuel E. Wright.

Entre tantos temas muy buenos de Disney, escogí este por 2 razones, primero la instrumentación, sabía que podría sacarle bastante provecho a los instrumentos de percusión, y además también esta película recuerdo que mi hermana la veía muchísimas veces en nuestra infancia, era su película favorita, al punto que rayó el DVD de la película de tanto verla😂

Hice este arreglo desde cero, con muchas anotaciones en papel antes de siquiera saber qué canción grabaría, dejando espacios para improvisar con mi cajón (estrofa 2) y con el vibráfono (luego del coro 2)

Esta canción, wow. Recuerdo cuando la escuché por primera vez. Estaba buscando una canción para hacerle un cover con cajon flamenco y nada que conseguía una que me gustara, de repente decidí meterme por una parte de youtube que jamás me hania metido, el ranking mundial y al azar hice click en esta canción. Fue increíble como apenas la escuché dije: esta es la canción que necesitaba! Conecté de manera inmediata.

Eso fue hace ya unos años atras! Pero sin embargo sigue estando esta canción en mi lista de canciones mas escuchadas. Y es que esa mezcla increíble de bossa nova con el trap/hip hop quedó fue impecable!

Ok debo admitir que esta idea esta increíble, me quito el sombrero de nuevo con el creador de este concurso ( @lordbutterfly ) , su creatividad, eficacia, energía por querer hacer las cosas y buens vibra es increíble! Para esta semana estoy super contento de este tema ya que nos dió la oportunidad de conocer un poco más de este gran artista Sam Feldt!

Tras escuchar todos sus temas decidí escoger este, titulado Post Malone, un nombre bien interesante y una canción con excelentes vibras, es por eso que no dudé en que esta sea la canción que usaría para mi participación de esta semana 14. HOLA A TODOOOS! Bienvenidos a esta semsna 12 de este concurso llamado Vibes Web 3 Music Competition! Hoy les traigo un tema súper tropical llamado KESI, aunque realmente en el coro dice es que sí, no sé porqué en el nombre lo pusieron con K😂 el hecho es que este tema es de Camilo, artista colombiano super interesante.

Para este tema decidí conectar mi vibrafono eléctrico para mostrarles con la mejor calidad posible el resultado, es por ello que el audio suena tan limpio!

Este tema muy tropical le queda perfecto al Vibrafono ya que es un instrumento que se puede tomar como familiar de el steel pan, por su sonido delicado metálico y legato. Por ello les traigo este cover para que lo disfruten y tengan sabor caribeño para su día de hoy!

A pesar de el tema ser "Pain" decidí elegir este tema ya que detro del dolor siempre debe haber la manera de luego llegar a la alegría, y qué mejor manera de hacerlo que con este estilo de música!

Semana 11! Últimamente he estado muy full de trabajo cosa que me dificultó de hecho sunir mi post para la semana 10! Pero sin importar eso, he vuelto para esta semana 11, donde no podía dejar de publicar adi sea faltando pocos fias para wue culmine! Asi como la vez pasada he decidido traer un poco de sabor caribeño a este concurso con mi vibrafono eléctrico y tocando un tema tropical como lo es este llamado Vagabundo, un merengue con varios artistas muy reconocidos en toda latinoamericana!

SEMANA 9! Feliz de en esta oportunidad traerles una canción que me encanta! Se llama Hora Loca (Crazu Hour) de una banda Venezolana muy conocida que con este último disco han tenido muchísimo éxito! La banda se llama Rawayana, este grupo ha sacado temas increíbles usando unos colores y ritmos muy buenos! Como por ejemplo House con Reggae y Afrobeat! Esta combinación led ha dado un color bien característico a este grupo y espor eso que actualmente estan girando por el mundo!

Este tema lo interprete, para esta semana 9, directamente desde mi vibrafono eléctrico ya que poco a poco estoy buscando las maneras de mejorar la calidad del video, en esta oportunidad mejorando el audio! Ya que es por linea directamente a la interfaz y se genera este sonido muy limpio a diferencia de cuando toco en el acústico!

Ya estamos en la semana 8! Muy contento de seguir participando en esta competencia tan increíble! Para esta oportunidad les traigo una versión que me encanta del famosísimo tema As It Was del super famoso artista británico Harry Styles, esta versión es de la banda PREP, personalmente me encanta esta versión quiza hasta más que la original😂 es increíble los elementos que le agregaron logrando elevar la canción a un nivel super sabroso, con armonías diferentes pero perfectas!

Pues una de las cosas que más me gusta es que tiene unos espacios donde creo es perfecto oara improvisar y echar creatividad con mi instrumento, esta versión es estilo smooth jazz con elementos funky!

Pues aprovechando todas esas cosas he tomado el espacio del final para poder improvisar y expresarme un poco para ustedes! Espero les guste muchísimo!

This week I bring you a unique video, it is a piece originally written for this instrument (vibraphone), by an unknown author, but this waltz called Waltz King, it truly is a masterpiece, it is an extremely delicate, harmonious piece, with a simple but captivating melody, which can make you feel a thousand and one things, this is one of my favorite pieces for this instrument, however, I had not played it, studied it, or reviewed it for many years, and it has a level of difficulty due to its delicate nature. of its harmony, literally each note must be perfectly interpreted because otherwise a different interval will sound, which will easily clash with what is being played and what is about to be played!

The audio quality may not be the highest, but believe me, and you can see it in my face, expressions and concentration, that I was doing the interpretation with all my soul, which I think is what we should always look for when we make music! Everything was recorded with my phone

Esta semana les traigo un video unico, es una pieza escrita originalmente para este instrumento (vibrafono), por autor desconocido, pero este vals llamado Waltz King, de verdad que es una obra maestra, es una pieza extremadamente delicada, armoniosa, con una melodia sencilla pero cautivadora, que puede llegar a hacerte sentir mil y un cosas, esta es una de mis piezas favoritas para este instrumento, sin embargo, tenia muchisimos años sin tocarla, estudiarla, ni revisarla, y tiene un nivel de dificultad debido a lo delicado de su armonía, literal cada nota debe ser perfectamente interpretada ya que si no sonará un intervalo diferente, que chocará facilmente con lo que viene sonando y con lo que esta por sonar!

La calidad del audio quizá no sea la de la más alta, pero créanme, y lo pueden ver en mi cara, expresiones y concentración, que la interpretación la estaba haciendo con todo el alma, que creo es lo que debemos buscar siempre que hacemos música! Todo fue grabado con mi teléfono

La ultima vez que la estudié fue fácil unos 3 años, pero venía pensando que quería mostrar las facultades de este instrumento en este increíble concurso que ha activado a la música con TODO acá en Hive, gracias a @lordbutterfly , super feliz y agradecido por darnos a los músicos este espacio tan perfecto para conectar y crecer! Normalmente cuando hago algo siempre trato de conectarlo con mi pasión la percusión, la música en general, hace poco me invitaron para que ayudara ena creación de un mural en la isla donde vivo, este de realizaría con material de reciclaje ♻️, específicamente con tapas de plástico.

Para el mural se necesitarían miles de tapas y la colaboración de muchas personas, para poder terminarlo a tiempo. Aprovechando esta ocasión además de colaborar, quise crear un vídeo de percusion con mucho ingenio y varias horas de edición, claro además de la colaboración de mis amigos.

Así que este fue el resultado, mucha creatividad, esto son los sonidos de las tapas y algunos elementos que teníamos a la mano, el buen humor de todos fue excelente y eso se nota en el vídeo, solo disfrutamos un poco mientras trabajábamos en la obra.

Espero que les guste, a pesar de ser corto el vídeo, me costó mucho hacerlo jajaja, saludos.

Normally when I do something I always try to connect it with my passion percussion, music in general, recently I was invited to help in the creation of a mural on the island where I live, this would be done with recycling material ♻️, specifically with plastic caps.

The mural would require thousands of lids and the collaboration of many people, in order to finish it on time. Taking advantage of this occasion, besides collaborating, I wanted to create a percussion video with a lot of ingenuity and several hours of editing, of course in addition to the collaboration of my friends.

So this was the result, a lot of creativity, this is the sounds of the tapas and some elements that we had at hand, the good mood of everyone was excellent and that shows in the video, we just enjoyed a little while we were working on the work.

¡SALUDOS A TODOS COMPAÑEROS DE HIVE OPEN MIC Holaa a todos! la semana pasada se me hizo imposible venir a estudiar, grabar, editar, redactar y publicar pero esta semana no podia dejarla pasar, asi sea el ultimo dia, hoy sabado terminando la semana 139 vengo hacia ustedes trayendoles mi participacion para este tema de la semana llamado Work of True Love, y que mas trabajo de amor verdadero que el de ir hacia nuestros instrumentos y expresar sentimientos a traves de las notas generadas!

Para esta semana decidí traer la cancion muy fuerte de Bruno Mars (se han dado cuenta que me encanta este artista? jajaja), este tema que habla de tambien un trabajo fuerte, o todo lo que llegaria a hacer por el amor que le tiene a esa persona, a pesar de eque no sea reciproco, ya que en la misma letra él va contando que el hasta atajaria una granada por ella, pero ella no haria lo mismo, mostrando que es una etapa complicadisima donde no encuentra ese amor correspondido, el sacrificaria lo que fuese solo por ella, cuando ella ni haria lo mas minimo ya que se intuye que ya no va pendiente de esa persona, ya ni le interesa, cuando la otra parte sigue pensando en ella todo el tiempo!

Eso sin dudda es otro trabajo por amor verdadero, pero por ahora en vez de agarrar granadas, yo prefiero tocar mi vibrafono y mostrar mi arte a traves de él!

Este festival que siempre lo va anunciando semana a semana el gran @edwardstobia en su perfil, esta vez ya en la sexta semana terminando el siguiente ciclo, ya en la ultima semana de este, ya que son de a 3 semanas, luego un jurado es encargado de ver todos y votar por los mejores durante estas tres semanas, es por ello que en esta onda que he andado de subir temas ahora un poco mas latinos, de hecho venezolanos ya que son del a super banda de venezuela, Guaco, este tema que es muy pero muuuy sabroso llamado Baja, la cual ahora que la escucho con la letra me da risa que una parte dice ´´Baja, Baja, Baja que esto lo baila Pique con Shakira´´ y bueno tristemente por cosasde la vida ya shakira y pique estan separados pero es un poco gracioso que ahora siempre que escucho esa parte pienso: ya no lo bailan juntos AJJAJA

Este tema tiene algunas partes super locas melodicamente hablando como si se fijan en el ultimo coro, esa parte sobre todo me costó mucho sacarla por oido y luego aprendermela para grabarles el tema, de hecho recuerdo que tuve que repetir varias veces toooodo solo por equivocarme alli JAJAJA y ya es eso casi el final! pero bueno en la x toma salió y pues así quedó.

Hoy martes quise experimentar un poco mas con este instrumento que ya han visto ultimamente por acá en mis redes, y pues esta experimentacion empieza con Guaco, la super banda de Venezuela, una agrupacion que literal tienen su propio genero y cadencia, que con tan solo escuchar unos segundos de cualquier introduccion de cualquier tema sea nuevo o viejo, ya sabemos que eso suena a Guaco. Yo personalmente soy super fan de esta banda, amo su música y lo que han hecho con su propio genero, literal agarraron muchisimos elementos y los unieron para armar su propio groove, es una mezcla entre salsa meregue tamborera gaita pop rock funk, y más, obteniendo este genero llamado como el grupo, Guaco.

Fue un reto adaptar todas las locuas que este grupo hace ya que bueno, en sus filas hay puros maestros de maestros, y hacen armonias ritmos y melodias super complejos, pero bueno con ensyao salio esta cancion que es una de las mas lindas diria yo, llamada lo eres todo, haciendo toda la melodia con el vibrafono y mostrando la versatilidad de este instrumento.

Feliz martes a todos amigos! hoy con buena energia vengo a darles mi entrada de la semana de este tema llamado Lets Rock, un tema super genial que da para muchos musicos inspirarnos en la seleccion de tema a interpretar o a componer, en mi caso seria interpretar, para hoy es traigo un cover en el vibrafono de este tema super popular del requetonero Rauw Alejandro, pero este tema tuvo una particularidad entre sus otras canciones, el siempre sacaba canciones con el ritmo de requeton pero con esta rompió paradigmas y se fue a un ritmo bastante sabroso con muchas influencias del rock, el rock pop y el dance, Todo De Ti, si eres latino muy probablemente lo habias escuchado antes ya sea en la clle o por donde fuese jajaja. pues decidí traerselos ya que hasta el mismo Rauw Alejandro dijo Lets Rock, trayendo este tema que rompio un poco su formato usual.

¡SALUDOS A TODOS COMPAÑEROS DE HIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL! Hoy muy contento iniciando la semana de nuevo con la segunda ronda de esta semana numero cinco del Hive Music Festival! Un festival que recibe a todos los musicos de manera semanal donde podemos ensayar y montar un tema especialmente para este dia y mostrarlo a compañeros musicos y compartir entre todos lo mas bonito que existe, la musica, para esta semana les traigo un cover de una cancion muy popular llamada Peaches del cantante canadiense Justin Bieber, esta cancion admito que la primera vez que la escuché no me gustó, pero recientemente la escuché de nuevo y dije, esta tengo que llevarla a alguna ronda del hive music festival, y pues fue hoy que decidí traerla, sentía que era un poco repetitivo el coro, cosa que si es verdad pero cuando lo mezclas con las diferentes estrofas que tienen unos juegos super geniales con la ritmica en su melodia, se vuelve super interesante. Sobre todo la 3era estrofa, que es la última antes de los 4 coros ya para terminar la canción.

Usualmente suelo subir, ademas de esta entrada semanal, varios videos interpretando diferentes canciones para esta comunidad, per desde el miercoles todo ha sido extremadamente complicado aca donde vivo, han habido unos racionamientos de energia electrica super complejos y largos, los cuales literal nos han dejado hasta mas de 8h continuas sin luz en un día, a pesar de haberse ido pocas horas antes, literal llegaba y a las pocas horas se volvía a ir, es por ello que se me complicó tanto mantenerme activo, de hecho anoche se me fue desde las 12:30am hasta hoy a las 8:30am, pero no obstante por fin habia electricidad, el internet no terminaba de llegar, asi que bueno aprocehcé de estudiar y grabar pero tuve la suerte que ahora en la tarde llegpo el internet y pude terminar de subir esta entrada para esta semana! Espero el servicio se recupere pronto para poder seguir subiendo mis videos casi que diariamente y ademas tambien apreciar los de mis compañeros!

Este tema, como digo al principio del video, no lleva unas frases melodicas tan complicadas pero sin embargo, el ritmo es extremadamente sabroso y el fraseo que hace con esa letra le da un swing sabrosisimo, es como un requeton chill jajaja, gracias tambien a las armonias que usa, si se fijan usa muchisimo acordes de 7ma Mayor, acordes que lo ponen en un level muy sofisticado, sin dejar de ser sencillos y minimalistas, pero todo junto hace que la cancion tenga ese gusto que tiene, de hecho una cosa que me llama full la atencion es el principo, si se fijan muy detalladamente tiene un poco fuera de tiempo las respuestas a la letra, pero es un toque super interesante.

¡HOLA A TODOS AMIGOS DE SOUND MUSIC! Feliz inicio de fin de semana para todos hoy viernes muy contento de estar aquí con ustedes presentando en un video un poco diferente a lo que usualmente he venido subiendo, Este es un video que grabe especialmente para subirlo acá de la presentación que tuvimos el pasado miércoles con el grupo en el cual yo toco que se llama Grupo Bitácora presentándonos para un colegio con todos los niños escuchandonos, fue como una especie de clínica o masterclass en el cual ibamos mostrando la música que hacemos mientras también mostrábamos y hablamos de todo lo que se puede hacer con la música venezolana y algunos instrumentos de la música venezolana como el cuatro, y obviamente también el cajón el cual a pesar de no ser un instrumento de música venezolana se ha encontrado maneras de adaptarlo para que con su muy rico sonido se ha incorporado dentro de la música venezolana como en este caso.

Este tema llamado Lo Eres Todo de la súper banda de Venezuela llamada guaco la cual creo que todo venezolano conoce es un tema muy lindo con una letra súper bella que más abajo va a poder encontrar, más abajo en este post, como una musicalidad y melodía muy hermosa, esta versión tiene ciertas cosas similares a la original pero sin embargo también tiene algunos cambios que le hicimos originales, principalmente se va a notar el hecho de que no son los mismos instrumentos de la canción original logramos adaptarlo todo con tan solo cuatro instrumentos cuando la súper banda de Venezuela realmente toca con más de 10, y haciendo algunos levantes en donde la gas O no lo tiene y viceversa algunos acentuaciones y cortes lo cual hoy en un poquito más ya que evidentemente somos menos personas, pero sin embargo siento que la versión queda muy entretenida y espero que para ustedes sea igual.

¡HOLA A TODOS AMIGOS DE MUSIC! Feliz diaa! Hoy vengo con una presentación diferente, una versión del Diablo Suelto, este temazo super conocido a nivel nacional, del compositor Heraclio Fernández, nacido en Maracaibo en 1851, este tema lo escribió en 1878 y original en Vals, un ritmo relajado y muy lindo, pero se ha hecho super popular a un ritmo más rápido y candela llamado Joropo, PERO en Grupo Bitacora, como pueden ver en este video, lo hacemos hasta en Samba!

Desde hace poco que me reacitvé he subido puros videos tocando Vibrafono, pero queria hoy que vieran que no es lo único en lo cual me desempeño! También toco Cajon Flamenco con mi Grupo Bitacora.

El tema empieza con la percusión en Samba, con ese tumbao Brasileño bastante sabroso, y por ende todo el tema pasa a 4. El cuatro hace como un pandeiro, el bajo como los graves de la batería de samba y la mandolina la melodía, hadta que luego abre el ritmo, para luego pasar a Joropo, como es la versión mas conocida, aunque original es un Vals😂 lueego va a Estribillo, luego Rock luego Balada a 3 luego Onda Nueva JAJAJA y termina en Joropo

Si... Como pueden ver, Grupo Bitacora es un grupo que experimenta muchísimo con los ritmos y recursos de los instrumentos, buscando unir el world music con la música venezolana y vice versa, es un experimento que bien nos ha gustado y espero que a ustedes también les guste!

Feliz día a todos los músicos que nos encontramos en esta comunidad sound music, es mi primera vez publicado en esta comunidad y quería saludar a todos los músicos y decirle que visto bye o de unos vídeos y todo el trabajo y de verdad que mucho talento en esta comunidad, Y pues quería añadir mi granito de arena en la comunidad posteando mi primer video tocando vibráfono en este espacio, y la canción que escogí para esta oportunidad se llama I Feel It Coming, del gran The Weeknd, este artista que tiene muchísimas canciones excelentes y ha llegado a las mejores tarimas como inclusive en el Super bowl en el medio tiempo, puedes decidí hacer una versión con mi instrumento de esta canción utilizando bastante el rango completo del Vibrafono, de hecho empezando el cover con la segunda nota más grave el cuál es un fa sostenido, si no se le nota más grave un fa natural. En esta canción que está en re mayor, traté de usar el mayor rango posible aprovechando también los espacios del final de la canción para improvisar un poco, y mostrando de nuevo la versatilidad que tiene este instrumento, llamando vibráfono que tiene similitud con el xilófono pero tiene las teclas de metal!

Realmente nunca estuve en ninguno de los anteriores, no sé si por mi haber llegado a Hive como tal, o por culpa de algunos de los tiempos alejado de Hive que he tenido a raíz de trabajo familia etc, pero uno siempre vuelve a donde es feliz, a donde la pasa bien, y compartir espacios con grandes artistas como los que podemos conseguir en esta comunidad es uno de ellos, además de estar súper agradecido por todo el apoyo que me han dado desde siempre, es por ello que hoy quería por primera vez presentarme en este festival de Hive con un tema que me encanta muchísimo llamado Sucker!

Este tema como mencioné el principio es una canción que me encanta muchísimo de la banda Jonas Brothers, está banda que desde siempre me ha gustado bastante y con ese último álbum que sacaron hace ya algunos años no fue la excepción, si no me equivoco este fue el tema promocional de ellos para anunciar su regreso como agrupación con la cual ya han hecho un miles de concierto alrededor del mundo. Cuando estaba escogiendo cuál canción decidir tocar, miré la lista de opciones y al ver esta no dude en seleccionarla!

CUANTO TIEMPO SIN PASAR POR HIVE HACIENDO MUSICA! No puedo mentir que no lo he extrañado muchísimo y es por eso justamente que vengo hoy con este nuevo y diferente video exclusivamente para esta comunidad donde uso por primera vez este instrumento, primera vez en serioo que me grabo usándolo, se llama Vibrafono, es similar a un xilofono pero las teclas metalicas dan este sonido tan espectacular por ello bien es usado en el jazz y en la salsa.

Para esta oportunidad decidí iniciar una serie de temas comerciales dónde la melodía la interpreto desde mi instrumento, el cual esoero que les encante el sonido tanto como a mí.

Im playing in this video this brave song Called Cruzao, which has a melody that seems to be like bad started in the middle, but thats the real intention of this, its on porpoise, it goes with Joropo and then to Estribillo, the first written in 3/4 and then the other one in 6/8. I usually come up with the idea for the video so fast, but time it eas a little more challenging , i had no idea about what could my video Be for this week as the subject is Bicycle, but then, i realized, i am a percussionist, literally anything can make music, just put them on a same bpm and it will start to gerove, and thats exactly what i thought, so i cane up with the idea of literally playing my bicycle, like... Literally playing on it, and thats exactky what i did

Editing this was so hard, as this should usualy be made with a looper but once again i dont have a looper haha so I had to record each sound by video and by sound separately, then go to edition and cooy paste each sound of the piece, but i just wanted to come here with a different and amazing video so you all could enjoy watching as much as o did recording (also editing but, my laptop is so slow so it was hard to stay positive hahaha, also as we only have this week i was like: RUUUSH)

BUT HERE IT IS FINALLY, literally Playing a Bicycle, hope you enjoy it soo much!

Where we are now playing with this curious theme Automatic Guitar, and as even my username says, im not a guitarrist but a percussionist (Even though i play some guitar) i decided to go and find a giotarrist that almost seems to play automatically, like so natural! He is Seiji, a guitarrist from Japan, I asked him to let me use one of his videos in order to play with him, this lick he is playing is soo good and enjoyable to play, I couldn't not play to it!

What a great subject, more in this times we are all living were it is ao important to make our voices heard, many voices are solenced now but its important to try keeping them up. And also as a musucian we all need to be free of creating our music, and share it, without any fear.

As a musician we all need the freedom of expression and just enjoy what we do, because That is all about, enjoying it!

WEEK 100!!! FIRST OF ALL I want to congrat all that makes this possible! 100 weeks is easy to say or write but all the hard work all had to do in order achieve and keep all the musicians active constantly posting their videos, and joining new musicians to this community.

Hello! Happy love month and Week! I hope you all have had a beautiful day yesterday! Talking about love, i want to share this song from last live concert on the beach we had last sunday, just 1 day before valentines! We enjoyed soo much! Hello music friends! A little bit late compared to usual posting in this community, i usually post on mondays but it is never late to have some music.

Today i bring you, talking about Ethics + Freedom, i choose to make this video because i felt it fit it all perfectly.

Why? Because i think that in order to be a teacher you need to have ethics so you can achieve the students grow, consistently be there talking, supporting and teaching all you can just to see them glow

And freedom because, thats exactly what music can do, make you free, We were in different countries, with different time zones, but we were free and able to connect weekly to have our classes
